But they definitely have a better selection of candy than most candy stores and grocery stores go a fraction of the price. This location which I'll assume all location DOES CHARGE for bags and DOES NOT give you credit if you bring your own bags in.

So you go to Five Below. You're casually browsing the store and you pick up a dog toy, and then place it back, as you deem it not worthy of your beautiful dog Heidi and you walk away. Suddenly, a tall security guard confronts you, asking you where it is. You say, "I don't know, I put it back somewhere". I am an adult. I've never been accused of stealing before. I am a productive member of society, just trying to live my life, just trying to find a toy for my sometimes mischievious hamburger-eating dog child. He doesn't believe you. He starts becoming more aggressive. Finally, when you think you're about to be arrested wearing sweatpants because you just wanted to casually pick up a dog toy at the store, he finds the sacred $5 dog toy and realizes you weren't a thief afterall. At this point, most human beings would feel remorse. "Damn, I just accused a middle-aged lady of stealing a cheap dog toy." "I just embarrassed her in front of the entire store." "I better apologize profusely" No, none of these thoughts crossed this security guard's mind. Instead, he demanded that she leave. (This happened to my mother-in-law). He kicked her out of the store like a criminal. I don't know if it was racism or this guy had attended one of those "alpha male" bootcamps and was demonstrating his new found masculinity on her, but either way, it was a horrible experience and to make matters worse, nobody at the store would apologize for his behavior. She won't be back. She'd rather let Heidi eat a hamburger off the counter everyday and have to clean up her profuse diarrhea everyday than to ever visit this establishment again. Thanks!

It had been awhile since visiting any Daiso. I was surprised to see all the different food types sold. I saw dried fish, different salts, candy, chips, beverages, ramen noodles, soups, teas and more. I wondered about the noodles and how tasty they were but decided to pass. I had to giggle at the tiny socks to cover chair legs. Practical and funny at the same time. Your floors would be protected from scratches though. Staff were busy restocking and also offered assistance if you needed it. A fun trip to see the different items offered. Shared parking spaces.
