I did have few things in mind that I have been needing and wanting to get. Where to buy them with great affordable prices? Here at Nordstrom Rack. This was my 1st visit at this store, and will not be the last. I do visit the Glendale area quite often. As I was browsing their aisles, I noticed a lot of items by famous designers, and their sale racks 70 to 75% off. The cashier even offered me 5% discount, if I join their rewards program, so I did. Card is already in the mail. Aisles were easy to navigate and everything was placed in the right places and NOT cramped like some other stores are. I have never encountered any type of a problem in any one of their locations. Bought a lot of things on this visit form practically every department. They have shoes, accessories, cosmetics, women's, men's and kids department, along with kitchen/bathroom essentials. Also, houseware stuff. They have toys and a lot more. Needed underwear in a pack of 6, not in any particular brand, but of course the size has to be right. White color. I also needed a nice pillow. Came in 2. I bought this beautiful, 3 inch heel gray color shoe, to match a light gray short sleeve blouse with rhinestones. I also bought a pair of dark blue color jeans with rhinestones. I guess I had rhinestone fever that day,:-)) Got me this beautiful Summer/Spring blouse with yellow/purple stripes. Saw these fashionable glasses, tried them on and it looked nice on me and complimented my face. Got that too. You can also wear them as prescription glasses. I can never get enough of vases, got a nice flower vase, a fashionable pant/skirt with sequins/diamonds on it (not real diamonds), and it was the last one left. Looked perfect on me! 2 transparent soap dispensers, 2 room sprays, a nice mug with an inspirational message on it. "good vibes only"! One heart shaped crystal Jewelry box that you can use for anything. And a festive decorative Autumn wreath for my door to welcome fall. I believe that's all I got. The store along with the restrooms and dressing rooms were very clean. While waiting in line to check out, got couple of drinks and candy. Ample parking lot and Love Nordstrom Rack!! And don't worry - they will proceed to follow you around breathing down your neck to make you as uncomfortable as possible until you leave. It's so gross. I had to move furniture around to help others move aside and it got to a point no one cared about pushing. I was able to make it downstairs and purchase the items. I used cash and realized due to penny shortage, don't expect change if it's supposed to be in pennies (which I'm fine with). Why? Because you can "see through the doors" (louvered doors -- the horizontal slatted kind) and it's "for the privacy of the ladies." So instead, I had to walk fully out of the dressing room half-naked to have him zip me up in front of the rest of the store, including several ogling strangers, for each of the eight dresses. There's no mirror outside the stalls, so that meant sixteen trips -- out to zip, back in to check the fit, out again to unzip. She did the same to a teenage girl and her dad, with visible satisfaction. She doesn't make the policies for this store, and I won't name her, because the purpose of this review is to point out a hypocritical policy, not to bash one patronizing employee. But if anyone from Macy's corporate is reading: it doesn't seem very "protect women" of you to expect them to parade around holding fabric up to their exposed bodies so that a man won't "see through" the slats of a louvered door (a feat that would require actively pressing your eyes to the seam of the door, not walking briskly past it to accompany your wife into her stall). I felt significantly more humiliated and exposed being zipped and unzipped in front of an audience than I would have if the attendant had simply asked my partner to avert his eyes on the way in, stay inside the stall, and avert them on the way out. It's a gender-neutral fitting room. You are not protecting women and teenage girls by forcing them outside the privacy of their stall to be undressed in full view of passersby. And which ladies are being protected? The attendant was making a call about who counts as a "lady" based on a glance. Sooner or later she'll make that call about a trans woman, or someone non-binary, and humiliate them too. Change your policy, or change the godforsaken louvered doors.

I think it was because the stalls are a bit shorter than I remembered, but overall this target is pretty much the same in terms of price of the items. Having two floors to shop felt like it was quite an adventure to find things. The second floor is where the toys, electronics, home and kitchen items were located. The first floor is where the food items and seasonal items and clothing are held. Starbucks is also only located on the second floor, which is right next to the mall entrance. We did use the restrooms on the first floor, which we I thought was clean, but there were actually quite a number of unsanitary toilet seat seats and it kind of smelled really bad. Overall, I would come back to this target to shop. It wasn't bad. They were plenty of staff sometimes they were hanging around asking if you need any help.

I also needed to return a shirt that I had bought thinking it would fit me since I didn't try it on. (It didn't). The women's clothing is on the second floor. I did buy my lip liner along with my 2 lipsticks. Process with the customer service was on point, fast and quick. Was helped by a very nice, pleasant employee and the return policy worked just fine. Had my receipt on me and the lady did an even exchange with one size bigger. Both levels of the store were spotless clean, including the floors. Has an escalator, huge parking lot, and don't know much about their restrooms. I usually don't shop at Nordstrom because it can be a tad expensive for my budget. Since I was already there, I said "why not".

But unfortunately, I couldn't find it and another staff organizing the items said whatever they have out is what they have. Overall, I think selection of items are comparable with other tjmaxx stores, I do like that it's next to Ross so if I want to compare prices of similar items, I can!

The various merchandise ranged from blankets, pillows, and lamps to greeting cards, seasonal decor (Halloween), and Hello Kitty items like sheet sets, salt and pepper shakers, and a figurine! That would maybe make sense if there weren't multiple employees visibly walking around in pain sight with the blue necklace, on their phones, doing go-backs, or just standing around instead of helping check customers out. Clearly, staff was there. The 4 they had aren't being used properly. Long lines, poor communication, and zero urgency to help customers. This isn't a staffing issue, it's a management issue. Completely unacceptable for a busy store Not my first experience in the store.
