Always the best wines in northeast Ohio. Try the Cabernet or Chardonnay. You can't go wrong!

Amazing winery! Arnie knows his stuff and has been making wine longer than most in Ohio! An absolute must for any connoisseur of great wine!

Great wine! Rustic location with fantastic sparkling, Chardonnay, and Pinot Noir. It is well worth the drive for a visit.

Markko is a treasure. All 100% estate grown wines. The Chardonnay and Cabernet are the best in Ohio, in my opinion. Worth the drive.

Conneaut Cellars Winery is a great winery. Out of all the wineries I visited in the region this…read morewinery was the most traditional with wine varieties found in any winery I've gone to in California or Washington. It has great ambiance - it feels like a wine tasting room should feel, if that makes sense. They proudly display their well earned awards and the lady who helped my mother and I was very knowledgable. I loved how they clearly had a sweet scale and weren't either pretentious nor poetic in their descriptions which gave a very clear expectation of the tasting profile. I ended up buying a bottle of their Forte Venango which was a fabulous port. I found it smooth, sweet but not super sweet, and very tasty! While I opted for the wine flight trying pinots and the malbec my mother opted for a wine slushy. She very much enjoyed her wine slushy as we discussed wine. I was sorry to hear that they no longer made ice wine due to lack of popularity. My mother said that they had the best ice wine. It was a fantastic stop on my wine tour!

Today I was on a mission to replenish my stock of wine before heading to our next party. A quick trip in and out, and I left with 3 reds and a rose. They winery was very busy, but the staff was quick and friendly. As soon as one customer had paid at the register, she was working quickly to fill the next order. At the bar, tastings were in full swing. It's a beautiful building, and they have very good wine. We will definitely be back.

Had a great weekend visit with my hubby and another couple and stayed in cottage 2…read more Pros: -Beds were super comfy and everything was immaculately clean! -Loved having TVs throughout, plenty of pillows, a fan and heater, etc. -Breakfast served to the room daily as part of the stay in a cute picnic basket. -Parking was easy, communication with the resort was consistent and simple -Grounds were really cute! The terraces were lovely -Loved the on site restaurant being so easy to access -Towels/washcloths were plentiful and comfy Cons: -Room has a definite musty smell from water damage somewhere. All of my stuff smells musty after the visit -Hot water in a room for 4 people ran out after 2, and was luke warm for the first two. Shower head is cheap and atrocious -Breakfast order was wrong every morning despite filing out the google form as clearly as possible. The form needs revamped to be specific for each guest as existing form was clearly confusing for the kitchen / kitchen does not know how to follow instructions. We had a clear allergy that was disregarded and mixed in with the gluten free guest resulting in frustration and allergen exposure -Restaurant was good but over priced for the quality/type of food. For what we spent, a bread appetizer should be complimentary. Server was nice but hard to get her to stop at our table. $100 pre tip is a lot for a bowl of pasta, a steak, a beer, a glass of wine and some fries. -Why is it so hard to get bottled water? Requests with our breakfast were ignored, and I ended up going to get a pitcher of water from the restaurant

There is also a lovely little electric sauna which did the job. Be aware there are not full amenities here such as showers or other bath items, but there is a sauna shower where you can get a spritz. There is wine, champagne and cheese/charcuterie boards for purchase, and complimentary hot chocolate, coffee and orange peel infused water. Taryn the spa manager was welcoming and friendly. Weekday pricing was very reasonable. My only gripe was the peculiar sitting area, with a motley crew of decor. But that's a minor oversight for what was otherwise a perfect day. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Geneva on the lake.
