The Conneaut Cellars Winery is nice place to visit. It has a rustic look inside and out. The staff was friendly & knowledgeable. They have a nice variety of wines. From dry to sweet. If you are in the area, I recommend stopping by.

Great winery to visit. Easy to see why they have won many awards. Always stop at Conneaut Cellars when traveling north from Ligonier,PA.

That's right, I drive over an hour, past numerous other wineries around Lake Erie because Conneaut Cellars is amazing!

This was our first visit as this distillery has recently opened. First of all, it's a little bit of…read morea walk to the distillery from the main lots. However you have the option to have cart ride down. They have lights hanging and it's in the middle of the woods. It's very awesome and such a great idea. This is the second time that I've seen a place setup like this, the other time was in the Finger Lakes. It's a definitely different experience. I tried the bourbon, rye, spiced whiskey, slivovitz and blackberry rum. All of the whiskey was good. The slivovitz is a product that I do not see any local distillers ever making. It was nice to see this here. I was introduced to this 20+ years ago while tailgating for Steelers home games. I have to say what they had tasted much better. I ended up leaving with the Spiced Rum, it was good and different than the others. I had a mixed drink as well as my wife and we both enjoyed the drink and the location. They have a stream nearby. The seating is awesome, you can sit outside near the distillery, inside the woods, along the creekside. It's a very cool place and can't wait to go back again. This place just opened and see it getting busier and more popular over time. HIGHLY RECOMMEND visiting this place.

Scallywags is at the end from the main lot but it was a nice walk along the creek! I had his special Limoncello Mojito which was delicious! Bought the Rums needed to make it and the Blackberry Mojito to take on vacation. We will certainly return. Try it ~~ fun places to visit.

When I ordered them, I asked for no pineapple. The girl taking my order looked at me like I was insane and looked at the menu in disbelief. She checked if it was a listed ingredient, which it is. She said every time she has ordered them there is no pineapple. This should have been my sign that they do not have systems in place in the kitchen and likely run out of inventory items often. My tacos came. Zero cilantro, zero lime crema. I went up to the bar and asked the sullen bartender for some cilantro. She just walked away and went to the kitchen as if I called her ugly. She came back with three slivers of cilantro in a cup and said with an expressionless face "this is what the kitchen had." Not I'm sorry we are out, or even a smile or a joke. Just an F you attitude and an offensive gesture in a cup. See photo! So without the crema it lacked fat and acid. Fortunately the carnitas had fat, but it was not rendered and quite gristly. The corn tacos were at least 5 days old. Chewy and tough. They could have at least steamed them in a microwave but zero effort in this kitchen. Also their Rum is stored in whiskey barrels so it tastes like whiskey. So if you order a rum daiquiri be prepared for fruit and whiskey. It's vile! Who does that to a Rum?! Service: 1/5 See above.
