I also consumed a Mamajuana. Some kinda witch doctor special that I fell in love with. Flavors I had never consumed before. As i am just a neophyte don't take my recommendation. However there were travelers in the pub who seemed much more professional in these areas. they each had 4 shots and a mixed drink...and walked out the door with 3 different bottles of hard alcohol. So I think it was as good as i thought it was. Could assuredly use some snacks- which they do not have. Atmosphere is quiet. Distiller\Owner\Operator is knowledgeable and friendly. He pours a nice drink as well.

However you have the option to have cart ride down. They have lights hanging and it's in the middle of the woods. It's very awesome and such a great idea. This is the second time that I've seen a place setup like this, the other time was in the Finger Lakes. It's a definitely different experience. I tried the bourbon, rye, spiced whiskey, slivovitz and blackberry rum. All of the whiskey was good. The slivovitz is a product that I do not see any local distillers ever making. It was nice to see this here. I was introduced to this 20+ years ago while tailgating for Steelers home games. I have to say what they had tasted much better. I ended up leaving with the Spiced Rum, it was good and different than the others. I had a mixed drink as well as my wife and we both enjoyed the drink and the location. They have a stream nearby. The seating is awesome, you can sit outside near the distillery, inside the woods, along the creekside. It's a very cool place and can't wait to go back again. This place just opened and see it getting busier and more popular over time. HIGHLY RECOMMEND visiting this place.

She came back with three slivers of cilantro in a cup and said with an expressionless face "this is what the kitchen had." Not I'm sorry we are out, or even a smile or a joke. The corn tacos were at least 5 days old. Chewy and tough. They could have at least steamed them in a microwave but zero effort in this kitchen. The whiskeys are decent, but the creamed based moonshines were very good. They have a special running now where if you buy 3 quarts, then you get the fourth one free!
