I'm updating my review since I left one 7 years ago... I still love this place! They are growing and it's clear to see why. Great customer service, a beautiful property, and unique and delicious wines are just a few reasons. I would highly recommend if you're in the area, be sure to stop. They're are several wineries in the local area. We've been to all of them. Qe always have the best overall experience at this one. We usually take home a case since we live far away. They're family-friendly, have alcohol and non-alcohol desserts, as well as other plates, they now make beer too, and evenhave a golf driving range. We'll continue to make this a regular stop when in the area. read more

We went to the winery for the music bingo the other night and my friends and had a awesome time playing the games. This is my first time going for the entertainment which I usually go because I love the dark beer they make. I have that with some food I buy and top it off with a wine milkshake. OUTSTANDING wine, beer, customer service and property! This place is a real treasure! Jay, the owner is passionate about wine and beer making and he uses all natural ingredients with no chemicals or additives. The wines were amazing! And so was the IPA beer. My favorite was the root beer wine. We enjoy the food as well. We had pizza and a chicken sandwich. Both were absolutely delicious and hit the spot. We tried a Wineshake bowl which is fermented cream with wine. That was beyond delicious! It was like the best rich creamy ice cream you have ever had. We enjoyed our long chat with Jay and we appreciated his top notch customer service and his amazing food and beverages. While we are not local, we would love to come back again. read more

We thought we would go to one of the special day "picnic lunch" Saturdays at this place. Never been to the wineries around here, so we splurged for the experience! A complete waste of money and time. We have never minded spending $ for food/drinks if it's something of quality. Got the $45 basket lunch that could have been purchased at Walmart for $11-wraps had a total of 2 pieces of meat each, a little bag of chips (think 20 pack variety box at Walmart), sides of Italian dressing macaroni salad and canned baked beans were in 2 oz condiment containers (think equal to a tablespoon in each) and the desert cookies (think Walmart AGAIN -the 12 cookie tray for $5.99). The welcome wine cooler's appeal was the 1cent umbrella in it! The taste reminded one of any other wine cooler drink. Entertainment was a duo who should stay singing at family get-togethers! CHEESY experience. Won't be going back to this place ever again. Our 3 hr fun afternoon lasted 15 min in the 90 degree weather. read more

This winery was definitely worth going a little out of our way. We did 2 sampling trays of wine (she said it would be $7, and we were charged $8, so be prepared for that), and we loved everything we samples. Good customer service besides the incorrect prices. We left with 4 bottles of wine, and, thanks to the sampling costs and a $3 bowl of wine ice cream, a bill of over $110. Be prepared to pay a little more. The wine shake ice cream was good, but it definitely left a waxy film in the mouth after eating it. It was worth trying, but I wouldn't go for the coconut again (even though that was the wine we loved and purchased). read more

This place is not your typical winery. We stopped and walked in and the lights were out. The owner was expanding outside while performing construction. He was raw about everything. I loved his honesty. He explained about the winery really well. Loved the wine. We tried root beer wine. It was good. I will go back again when we are in the area. read more

Aside from the eye sore distraction next door (neighbors yard looks like a trailer park exploded & then mated with a junkyard) Emerine Estates is this cute little building that offers some really unique yet delicious wines. One of my favorite things about this winery is that they offer 100% all natural wine that is free from all of the harsh ingredients you'd find in store bought varieties. I'll admit, I did not get to try any of their food but sampled a variety of wine & wound up purchasing 4 bottles, lol. If you have a sweet tooth, their Caramel Apple was awesome! As well as their Hunters Cranberry & their Strawberry Shortcake. And for any of you Mentalists fans out there, I thought the owner had a very similar & sexy appearance to that of the main character Simon Baker, lol. But anyways, the road to this winery is mostly Amish country so the drive is scenic and peaceful as well as the winery- enjoy! read more

Came here at the end of a wine tour, it was #4 of 4. Some of the worst wine I have ever had. For our tasting it was served in plastic dixie cups; they started with reds. After 2 reds switched to whites (in the same cup), and then back to red. All the wine were sweeter than Welch's grape juice. So sweet we couldn't finish it, and I never leave alcohol behind! Service was great, snacks were decent, but the wine...not so much:/ read more

Yesterday was the first time we were here. The atmosphere was great! The staff that was here was very helpful and directed us to wine that suited our preference. We decided to have a bottle of wine with some lunch and it was delightful. I had the chicken club and it was served on a pita with a side of mayo. The meat was so fresh and you could tell that it wasn't that store processed meat. For our bottle of wine we had the Strawberry Shortcake and it was very good. We could not leave here without getting a bottle to take home. So we decided on the Big Nuts Coconut Wine. Tropical delight! We loved the laid back not so stuffy feeling, that you often find in a lot of the fancier wineries. read more

This is NOT A hotsy-totsy place. The wine is cleverly made and very tasty. Think "Back Yard Country Barbecue". With this I mind. I would still recommend bringing your own wine glass as they serve wine's in plastic wine glasses. Who likes plastic wine glasses? Yuck! But the wine is very fun and tasty! You will definitely bring home a case! Loved it there experimental watermelon wine!!! Definitely try their wine milkshake!!! Absolutely amazing! The owner is enjoyable to talk to you! Always a fun time when we come here. Very charming winery that sports a private party room and a picturesque outdoor patio deck from where you can watch the sun set. The wine is unique in its own right-plenty of fruity and sweet wines, chocolate raspberry, coconut, caramel apple, etc... The Teardrop Chardonnay is a Full bodied white which offers a subtle smoky and butteriness that is pleasant to the palate. It isn't too dry but is also a far cry from the sweet wines on the list. They also offer some interesting dry reds such as Deja Vu, a full bodied Cabernet blend-which is always a solid go to wine when undecided, and my favorite, Wine. Yes, it's simply named Wine- which is a complex property grown Ohio Pinot Noir with notes of Butter and Tobacco. It is FANTASTIC! If you are looking for something interesting to take hold of you, then try the Seduction-also another property grown Pinot Noir with hints of Coffee, Mocha and Vanilla. Pretty good for a glass to change the pace. They also do a nice short order menu that features their Hurrton Burgers and Hurrton Chicken sandwich. The peppers on these suckers are warm but tasty! Overall a fun place- the owners Jason and Bridget are very friendly and willing to chat it up with their guests. Never a dull conversation when we come here. Just overall good people. I recommend a visit here if you are looking for a place off the beaten path...literally. You won't be disappointed. read more

After buying their Blackberry Cab at Geneva Grape Jamboree, we decided to stop in and buy more. The owner is adding on but stopped work to help us. Very personable man! Loveland is a dirt road so you won't leave without a dusty car. We laughed reading another review regarding the Home next door that looks as if a junk yard exploded. It's still there! What a shame that the local trustees don't make them clean up. Ignore it on your drive into the Winery. It's worth it! read more

I ended up receiving a bottle of Hunters Cranberry wine as a gift which introduced me to this winery. The wine was so tasty that I ordered a case of wine of various flavors, of course including another two bottles of the Hunters Cranberry. Sounds like a neat winery to visit. We randomly stopped here on our way to Geneva wineries. What a pleasant surprise! Really nice outdoor patio area. The wines were very good. Appetizers were excellent. I highly recommend the garlic bread and peppers (you can buy the peppers in jars - can't wait to have it at home!) It was a great first stop for a light lunch, and sitting and relaxing. It was our starting point for the Tanenbaum Winery Day last weekend. The place is absolutely charming the wine was good (10:30) am!! Hey it was our first stop of the day 8 more to go!! Their app was a DEEE...licious!! meatball. My opinion the best app of the day. Want to go back saw a great summer deck just outside. Have room in back with fireplace. The owners were so nice and let us in a little early. Recommend my favorite of the entire day!! read more
