Staff was very friendly and they had a nice happy hour special. They also have some food options. Beautiful space inside and out! Enjoyed all of the wines we tried. Easy parking right in front and near other wineries if you are doing a wine tour.

Sadly, the "Cheese and Meat Bored" was of such quality that I focused on food and drink, as opposed to photos.

Nice wine selection, very good charcuterie board, and live music. Good seating options even in January. After all, wine by the fireplace is always a good thing. And I never argue with a live band, playing the songs we all grew up with. Only regret? Having to leave!

People are very nice We had a glass of the harvest red, which was good, not overly sweet. - and two glasses of the endless summer - so so good!! We tried the almonds - wow, get these!! Fresh and yummy!!! The pretzel party - delicious the pizza neopolitana - it's ok The potstickers!! - very good Food is very good, for a winery Would come back!

Spacious tasting room. This is my first stop on my five winery wine chili cook off stop. Great chili but can't vote yet as I have four more to go!! Also pleasant service.

This is a very nice winery. Although smaller than many in the area, the wines are very good and the patio area is beautiful. Although we did not have anything to eat, we have been told that the food here is excellent. We were greeted and served by the owner and she was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I would definitely recommend going here.

As we continued our wine tour, we stumbled upon this place and there were no cars in sight so we decided to try it out. The building is very cute, with lots of tables and a cute bar. There is also lots of outdoor seating, many tables with umbrellas. They had a large variety of wines and since we like dry wines, we opted for the 9 dry wine samples. The person working was very nice and informative. The wines were served in little plastic cups, in a box, and we were given 2 glasses that we could use to drink from. Personally, it wasn't the best presentation. We were able to sit outside, and they even provided a few crackers to change our palette after drinking so many kinds. In the end, the Pinot Grigio was my favorite, and that is not a wine I usually drink.

Such a cute and pretty winery with extremely friendly and helpful service . Quite an extensive wine list with something for everyone . Really liked the Barones and pink camo enough to buy both . We didn't order food as we had already eaten but the tables around us that did the food looked delicious and the patrons seemed to all enjoy it . Would definitely recommend this is one of your stops

This place was great to visit on a weekend to drink some wine, eat some grub and listen to a bluegrass band. I came here with friends and we ended up sharing a table with another random couple. And got a bottle or read and white. I strongly perfected the white wines. But I would recommend doing a tasting if everything and seeing what you are in the mood for. All of the food is well priced and delicious. It comes out hot and well presented. My fav was the pretzel sticks. There is plenty of parking in a gravel lot out side. They can accommodate party busses and other larger vehicles.

Such friendly service here. Great wines and food! They have specials throughout the month, like loaded baked potato day. I've ordered flat bread pizza, cheese boards, sliders, pretzel app to name a few. Great atmosphere and seating outside. Live music on select days as well.

This was by far my favorite newer winery in the area. It's quaint, cozy and inviting. The exterior is beautifully landscaped in the front and back overlooking the vineyards. It's also wheelchair accessible. The interior was nicely done in warm chocolate brown hues. They had plenty of seating, though I could see it filling up quickly. They also have live music on most nights. The wine was exceptionally good and some of the most reasonably priced in the area. The food was excellent and the service was friendly and attentive. The lovely lady at the counter really knew her stuff. My friends and I ended up purchasing a full case and a bottle of ice wine. I can't wait to go back to this winery. It's truly a magical experience. Don't miss out if you're in northeast Ohio wine country!

This is the most welcoming winery in the area. Staff are helpful, food is great and the wine is tasty. We ended up with Endless Summer after trying some samples which they put towards our bottle purchase. The potstickers were great. Cute fireplace with comfy chairs, highly suggest trying it out.

We love the atmosphere of this winery. Great views, cozy inside setting and delicious wine. We love sitting by the pond, enjoying a view with a glass of our favorite wine, the sauvignon blanc. We've always had amazing customer service when visiting this location and highly recommend stopping by if you are in the area.

Family owned and operated, by Geraldine "Gerry" and daughter, Tracy... every detail is attended by these lovely, gracious ladies and their staff... wine tasting are how you start your journey at this home away from home. If Tracy is not in the cellar creating the very best wines, ever...she is sharing her personal and professional thoughts on each selection. Mom is MOM, need I say more? She will suggest pairings and make sure you get what you want. Their palette for bites to accompany the drinks are spot on! We ordered the charcuterie platter and did not expect to have a full brat, kielbasa and sausage skewered on a razor sharp knife...pickled vegetables and home made pickles with a coarse mustard and the very lightest home baked sourdough bread sliced into art. Seated on the open air balcony with a view of the vineyards is only matched by the seating around the fire pit and the seating along side of the cat tails...the icing on the cake...hummingbirds sipping sugar water by our table. This is my favorite winery in the northeast Ohio area!

This shows the containers the tastings are prepped in.

Love wine a little higher than some places but Merlot is really good. Cheese tray is good cheese so worth it.

We loved sitting by the pond, sipping on some incredible wine and also enjoyed a very delicious cheese board here.

The vibe at South River is definitely unique! The winery is in an old church, and their patio…read moreoverlooks the extensive grape arbors. This was the most crowded of the wineries we visited, and the patios were getting a bit cluttered, as there weren't really trash cans or anybody bussing the tables. I enjoyed the white flight, the Temptation was my favorite, and we shared a fruit and cheese plate with an apple, crackers, bread and a fantastic aged chedder. The apple was served whole, with a steak knife to carve it up yourself, on a Styrofoam plate, so didn't quite match the scenery and overall vibe, and a steak knife is not the right tool to cut a huge honeycrisp apple. So it was a nice snack, but could have been done a little better. FYI - the actual winery is not super accessible - steps up to the front door, the bathrooms are down a flight of stairs, and the outdoor areas for enjoying your wine are mostly accessed by stairs as well.

Its definitely worth visiting South River Vineyard for the location. The winery is a renovated old…read morechurch. They have fun with the church theme with a cardboard cut out nun you can take your photo with. Exiting the back of the church you come upon a couple giant flight of stairs that could be a problem for some visitors. These stairs lead to a seating area up on a platform that feels like you are perched on part of a castle overlooking the fields of grapes. I must confess I'm not a wine expert. I enjoyed the flight of dry reds I ordered. My friend ordered the charcuterie board which had a huge wedge of bread and a very tasty cheese we kept begging for more tastes of.
