Wonderful wine! On this trip we tried a couple of the sparkling varieties which were incredible. We ended up taking a couple home. On our last visit we tried a frozen lemon with sorbet which was so delicious and refreshing. The staff and views here are wonderful also.

This is the least aesthetic charceutierie I've ever seen.

Bar service is good. A couple good wines. The food is a pass. One of the only wineries in Geneva without fruit flies though which is something to consider

Absolutely loved Kosicek! The winery itself is beautiful with both indoor and outdoor seating. We chose a table outdoors that had a view of the vineyard. So beautiful! Samples were $2 each. I tried the white and rosé sparklings and then had a mixture of the white and red wine slushie. I loved the slushie so much that I went back for a second sample. After our drinks we wandered through the vineyard. It was such a perfect day. I have already told several friends to stop here while in town. Prices are so reasonable even for bottles and the staff were so knowledgeable and friendly. I will definitely be back!

Hubby and I stopped in last week. We've been in the area a number of times and never stopped here. We did some tastings and ended up buying a couple of bottles to bring home. The server was friendly and helpful with explaining their wines. They weren't very busy while we were there so we stood at the bar for the tastings, they did have tables inside and a nice patio.

We had been here many years ago and I recognized the building when we pulled in. I also remembered that I liked their Chardonnay, The server was very nice and once we talked some things through, we decided to try 5 different samples, all white wines. She poured some in each wine glass, which was marked on the bottom as to which wine it was and then gave us the menu so we could read more about each style. It was very windy outside, so we sat at a nice table and enjoyed our wine samples. My palette knows what it likes, and it definitely likes the Stainless Steel Chardonnay. We liked it so much that we bought a bottle for later.

Such a charming winery and tasting room. Generous sample pours, a large selection of wines, very friendly staff, beautiful grounds, and dog-friendly patio. We really enjoyed the petit sirah and the traminette. Very reasonably priced bottles.

I love this winery. Family owned and very farmhouse, but let's talk about why you come visit. The wine! Theirs are sensational- especially if you love dry reds. Woo! My guy likes their Chardonnay, but we both go ga-ga over the Petite Syrah! It's soooooooooooo good! We took my guys daughter and her boyfriend were thrilled. He's a "sweetie" (my term for people who only drink sweets) and he loved the Emma's blush. The bourbon barrel cab is another fave I love, and both my guy and his daughter agreed on that. I love casual wineries with a lot of selection and this wonderful space is a go to for us. Try also their red blend Allegiant. We have almost too many favorites to list!!!

This is a winery that should be on you list to stop! It is intimate, priced right and good wine. Rustic style open space with a long bar for service. There's also a decent sized outside deck area with long social tables and some corn hole pits. Kosicek makes a large variety of red wines and several of them are good. We didn't try the whites, but had 7 of their reds. I have not come across another winery out this way with so many different wines. We liked the petit Syrah, the estate cab and the Pinot noir. The estate cab franc deserves a mention too. I'm not typically a fan of that grape, but I enjoyed this wine. They age it a bit longer than their regular cab franc. It balanced out the finish. The staff were wonderful and friendly. They regularly checked around on their visitors to clear glasses and chat. The restrooms were clean. There is a good selection of nibbling snacks available to purchase for very fair prices. The wine prices here are in the lower 20's for a bottle.

Some great cabernet sauvignon and very buttery chardonnay here! Nicely decorated winery serving some great wine with a nice charcuterie board, generous appetizer of hot bread with olive oil dipping sauce and generous sized portions of pretzel sticks. Another must stop on your winery tour!

I enjoyed this winery. The service was good. The inside had artistic chandeliers made from blue wine bottles. The outside had a large patio with pretty views. Enjoyed a cheese and meat board for only 12 something. Really cannot beat that. Also they were running a Christmas in July special with discounted wines. I was able to get a really good bottle of wine for 10 dollars that was recommended by the worker that I normally would of not tried but really enjoyed. This was part of a wine tour and was our first stop and I was not disappointed at all. I would reccomend coming here.

Wine flight was okay. Not much from the food menu was available. We were there on a Saturday afternoon. Great service.

The place was ok. One of none we visited. Wasn't the best but certainly not the worst.

I sampled all of their sweet varietals (of course), really enjoying the Dam Red.

The vibe at South River is definitely unique! The winery is in an old church, and their patio…read moreoverlooks the extensive grape arbors. This was the most crowded of the wineries we visited, and the patios were getting a bit cluttered, as there weren't really trash cans or anybody bussing the tables. I enjoyed the white flight, the Temptation was my favorite, and we shared a fruit and cheese plate with an apple, crackers, bread and a fantastic aged chedder. The apple was served whole, with a steak knife to carve it up yourself, on a Styrofoam plate, so didn't quite match the scenery and overall vibe, and a steak knife is not the right tool to cut a huge honeycrisp apple. So it was a nice snack, but could have been done a little better. FYI - the actual winery is not super accessible - steps up to the front door, the bathrooms are down a flight of stairs, and the outdoor areas for enjoying your wine are mostly accessed by stairs as well.

Its definitely worth visiting South River Vineyard for the location. The winery is a renovated old…read morechurch. They have fun with the church theme with a cardboard cut out nun you can take your photo with. Exiting the back of the church you come upon a couple giant flight of stairs that could be a problem for some visitors. These stairs lead to a seating area up on a platform that feels like you are perched on part of a castle overlooking the fields of grapes. I must confess I'm not a wine expert. I enjoyed the flight of dry reds I ordered. My friend ordered the charcuterie board which had a huge wedge of bread and a very tasty cheese we kept begging for more tastes of.
