Crispy Chicken dish on steamed rice

You hate to love it. This is my current relationship with Mark Pi's. It's the ultimate comfort food for those long nights in the hospital or studying. The food won't make your taste buds weep with joy, but will be there in your time of need. Sometimes you just need a shoulder to cry on, or a tasty meal to devour. For what it is, it's a good value and taste for the cost. The hours are pretty good and they always have a special dish they've discounted to please your wallet. The service is fast and the food is cooked fresh on the spot in front of you. If you're in the area, it's a great option for price, serving size, and comfort.

Bibimbap for $8.25.. very large portion.

Our waiter was brand spanking new and freaking out with everything. Everytime we ran out of meat with grilling the plate would burn for a while til our waiter would come back and it would be burnt super burnt and smoky. It seemed like a great place to bring your family but I didn't really have a great experience there.

Everything tasted incredibly fresh--from the meats to the vegetables to the noodles. You could tell right away that quality matters here. The selection was generous and thoughtfully curated, with fantastic options that made it hard to stop at just one round (or two... or three). The broths were flavorful without being overpowering, and the dipping sauces let you customize every bite exactly how you want it. It was one of those meals where you keep saying, "Okay, just one more scoop." On top of the food, the atmosphere was great--clean, lively, and perfect for sitting back and enjoying the experience without feeling rushed. It felt both fun and relaxed, which isn't always easy to pull off with an all-you-can-eat setup. If you're looking for fresh ingredients, tons of variety, and a genuinely enjoyable dining experience, K Town BBQ and Hotpot is a must-try. We'll definitely be back--and probably hungry just thinking about it again.

So, for the hellzbellz of it, I thought I'd just put in my exact notes. Here it goes: "Max is a delight. Shrimp Shumai is wonderful. Chicken Fried Rice is done properly without being over seasoned or too salty. Spicy Tuna will run you out of town!" HA! What fun notes I left for myself. I do recall their drinks being very nice and strong. Totally worth ordering a fun adult beverage. Max was an absolute delight... just a nice human being. I remember we'd had a really rough day and Max read the vibe. Without being overwhelming, Max just made dinner a wonderful experience. Thanks, Max. You're good people. The entire food scene was great that night. We enjoyed everything we ordered. Even though this was a while back, I remember we took leftovers home (which I NEVER eat)... that night, I ate them! Price was on-point, ambiance is great... sit away from the door if you are a wuss like me and hate the cold "door blast". I remember being impressed by the amount of take-out and doordash that was lined along the counter. Kanji OTR is solid. We'll look forward to visiting again!

Kanji OTR at Findlay Markey was perfect! Knowledgeable server (she's tried everything), quiet ambience and good food added up. We started with a veggie roll, my husband had his favorite, the Korean wings, and I went with Udon veggies and tofu. Fresh and ample!

Asiana is a small, family-owned restaurant that's been in the area for a while and I can't believe I've never had it up until a few years ago. Service is always great, food comes out quick, and you're also given a yogurt drink after every meal! This time, my friend and I got the Bibim Naengmyun (Cold spicy noodle) and Stir-fry seafood udon. You honestly can't go wrong with anything on their menu, and you will always go home satisfied!

What we ate: Rabokki: Basically ramen + dubbokki (spicy rice cakes). Large portion, spiced just right, and everything was cooked to just the right texture. Samgyupsal: Seasoned sliced pork belly. Perfectly crispy, seasoned well, served with ssamjang and lettuce to make the perfect bite. Seafood pancake: This was a LARGE portion!! Nice amount of crispness, could have used a little more seafood, but otherwise tasty. And the was plenty of banchan, which they refilled for us. Additionally, we heard the server helping out another table with what to order. So super beginner friendly if you don't know a lot about Korean food! The only disappointment is that they no longer serve galbi, which I was craving!
