Our first time here and definitely not the last. It's only few tables and outside sitting, but food is so fresh, staff is friendly and everything tastes great. I love 7 mares seafood soup and very picky about it. They had that soup and it's was SUPER, so they won me over . Definitely will be coming here for our lunch. I was looking for a mariscos place close to my house. So of course, through a trusty Yelp search, I found this place! It's a small shack on the corner of Beverly and Hay. They have a few tables on the side so you can eat there. We ordered a lot of different items so we could try them. It's owned by a mom and son. And when we got there, it was just the mom by herself. She doesn't speak a lot of English so we were having some trouble understanding each other. But she was so sweet. So that we could understand, she gave us some samples. And that only made us want to try more items. We got 2 fish tacos, 1 shrimp taco, 1 dorados taco, aguachile, shrimp and jaiva tostadas, octopus cocktail and mixed cocktail. Everything was so good. As she was preparing our order, her son came back and she mentioned that he speaks English. He shared with us that they had opened a little over a year and half ago and that business slowly getting more steady. We noticed that they were busy as we were waiting for our order, which is always a good thing. But I'll definitely be coming back since it was very good. And even though there was a language barrier, they still gave excellent service. I always like to support family owned businesses so I'll be back. read more

It was a hot day on a Wednesday and I was craving something light and refreshing. I found this spot through Yelp and decided to give it a try. I arrived around 2 PM and the place was empty, so I got my food pretty quickly. I ordered the ceviche de camaron and the aguachile. The ceviche was packed with flavor and super satisfying. The aguachile had a hint of spice and while it could have used a bit more flavor for my personal taste, it was still decent and enjoyable. The customer service was amazing. The lady helping me was energetic, friendly, and kind. She really added to the positive experience. I would definitely come back for the ceviche. I also want to note that the portions are on the smaller side, but that is reflected in the pricing. It was enough for me, but if you are someone who can devour a whole plate of seafood, you might want to order an extra dish. read more

I ordered two 7 mares soup, and when I my order, it was missing the crap legs. that makes it more yummy and delicious to my eyes and my tummy. The soup look too poor, the taste was ok but it would have look and tasted better with the crab leg. I call and I was told that they had no crab legs, so that means that was not a 7 mares soup. Where do I start? This place is very small, they do have an outdoor patio area and it's very well kept and clean. Service was amazing and very friendly. They have very fair prices and more importantly super fresh ingredients. They put their special twist on all of the favorites you get at other marisco spots and they got it right. This was served with limes and a special in-house salsa, a red hot sauce that is the perfect amount of spice, chef's kiss. In addition to the delicious food, the hospitality was warm, friendly and welcoming. Mom and son owned business that opened 2 years ago. Mom was in the back throwing down! The ambiance was chill. I had gotten home from the beach and I was craving the shrimp burrito it was the only thing I wanted to eat today, but there was only 10 minutes before the place closed. When we got there we asked the worker in the front if they were still taking orders and he said he would turn the grill back on for me. Which is something he did not have to do I would've completely understood if he said no. He was super nice, he made my burrito super fast. The burrito was so delicious and it's so big for the price! Every time I've gotten food from here it has always tasted fresh. The place is very clean and nice and the outdoor seating is spacious. Exceeded my expectations! We had large shrimp cocktail, agua chile verde, and tacos dorados. Super delicious! The ingredients tasted fresh. The salsas were spicy but very flavorful. Delicious seafood, specifically the shrimp ceviche and their fish tacos. I've yet to try other dishes, but these are delicious! They give a hot sauce for the fish tacos that truly brings the heat and is tasty! The service is friendly! I appreciate good tacos and burritos, and what they are serving has been pretty solid. Surprisingly their portions are generous, the pescado taco was huge and requires a big bite to take in all the flavor from the sauce, and toppings that go with it. It's even better as burrito. The other tacos on the list are pretty solid too, and honestly you can probably get 2 or 3 tacos and be pretty full. It's mainly outdoor dining which isnt bad at all, i imagine it would be pretty nice during warm summer days. It's a small business and I think the owner and her family is working on the line, and while staff is limited, service is pretty good, they're pretty friendly, and while there is a language barrier (at least for me) it doesnt stop me from wanting to express that their dishes are great. read more

Sweet, first one to review this awesome mariscos food truck! Working down the street I love that I have a the convenience of awesome fresh seafood and burgers. This is definitely a neighborhood favorite and with good reason. The owner is super friendly and the truck is run by the family. They love what they do and they're good at it. & : These two tacos were delicious, spicy, flavorful, the shrimp had that perfectly cooked crunch and plumpness to it. The fish, lightly fried and moist and flaky. Topped with all the fixings. I also had the taco dorado de camaron. Perfectly crispy on the edges and packed with shrimp in the middle. Prices: ranged from $2-$3.75. for all 3 under $10 That's a steal! My whole lunch was less than $10. I got to talk to the owner and asked him what the Mexicana hamburger was and oh boy, I can't wait to try it. Let's just say it fully loaded. I came across this gem in Boyle Heights two years ago at a food truck. The service is great, food is fresh and delicious . I found the restaurant in Montebello a couple months ago. Last night, we ordered tacos de pescado, camarones empanizado, y camarones costa azul y un agua de jamaica also un caldo de camarón that was delicious, shrimp cooked perfectly also the broth is flavorful. The food and service are excellent!! Make sometime in your day to visit the restaurant and support local businesses. The ambience is welcoming and cozy. The food is made to order. This location used to be called Wendy's but has since changed to the new place called El Zurdo. They focus on seafood but do have beef and chicken as well. My coworker is allergic to seafood so I was a little nervous ordering since they probably cook everything on the same grill. He wanted an asada burrito and I went with chicken tacos. There was a slight language barrier for my high school Spanish wasn't good enough. I wanted hard shell tacos but they said only shrimp has hard shell. What? Why can't they make it if they hard shells? The chicken flavor was good. I did not like the corn tortillas. My coworker mentioned that his burrito was too oily.
