Busy, clean restaurant. Service with a smile. Food was delicious. Food cooked when you order it so there will be a little wait. But everything was hot, fresh, and tasty. We will be back.

This place is popular i didn't expect there to be a full house on Sunday. Huge community for the restaurant. I randomly stopped by here to eat. Service was nice fast and easy. Lots of Salvadoran delights. I even ordered to go after dining in. I would totally return. Food was delicious.

You know the food was yummy when you forgot to take pictures. Everything I had was delicious - beef, chicken, beans, bean & cheese pupusas and they are were delicious. Good size and filled with a notable about of stuffing. The bean pupusa was my favorite, which is a lot from a carnivore like me. The inside was clean and tidy. Tables were all cleaned immediately after parties would leave. And the staff was friendly, helpful and ensured I got the order I wanted

Several times of coming here. Place is always clean and service is always friendly and fast. Pricing is great and food is without doubt delicious! If you're looking for authentic Salvadorian food, try this place out! Will be back soon for my pupusa and horchata cravings.

run, don't walk... or skip if you want... totally up to you. This is a hidden gem. Locally owned and operated, super nice but no one I encountered spoke English. So put your high school Spanish classes to the test here. We had pupusas and empanas of various fillings. But rather than waste time on this review, I'll just strongly suggest my favorite items. Food 5++ Get the Bean, Cheese and Pork Pupusas. We ate these next to the carne asada and chicharrones with cheese.... Dude. So much more flavor in their beans . Speaking of beans, get their plantain empanadas stuffed with beans. It has an aromatic fresh cinnamon flavor with a little bit of sugar on top. So. Freaking. Good. Service 4.5 They forgot some things but it could have been a language barrier Ambiance 3 15 years ago it was fun to have people sign your wall. Now it's filled with IG and TikTok promotions. Ew.

Hello do you offer catering?

They do, inquire at the desk

Are pupusas always available?

Yes, pupusas always available. But they've lost the flavor (not as good) and the service really sucks. If you order to go, make sure you get everything you order.

I have been gatekeeping this business because it's my go-to pupusa spot and I'm here to make it…read moreright. The pupusas here are so freaking good. Not too greasy, just the right amount. My favorite thing to get is the Rapidito. It comes with two smaller size pupusas (but still pretty big IMO, a side of frijoles, and platano frito!!! You can request the pupusas with ANY filling. It hits the spot! I get that to go for lunch. It comes with curtido - so good - and salsa. It's one of those comfort foods, ya know? Pupusas isn't the only thing they sell, either. They have a full menu of a variety of food. I've never actually ate there. The dining hall is quite big and looks comfortable. I see older folk there so you know it's good. They have TVs and I'm not sure if they have a full bar but they serve something. I spotted plantain chips in a bag on top of a case of pan dulce that looked good too. I feel like this would be a nice spot to chill, have good food and a beer or something. Today, I ordered two Rapiditos on the Yelp app but it didn't let me choose the filling of the pupusas, so I called. They knew exactly what I was talking about. They told me they'd tell la Señora. Do they have someone's grandma back there making pupusas?! No wonder they're so good! And she hustles, too, because when I got there, I sat down ready to wait but they were packing up my order. Took less than 5 minutes!

We…read moreusually make the drive to North Hollywood, but decided to give this place a try--and it definitely did not disappoint! We started with the ensalada, which was refreshing and had just the right amount of sweetness. For pupusas, we ordered the revueltas, loroco con queso, and frijol con queso. We tried both corn and rice dough, and honestly, both were delicious. My personal favorite was the frijol con queso with the rice dough- so flavorful and perfectly cooked. The yuca frita was exactly how it should be: crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside. The chicharrón was cooked perfectly as well, and the homemade green salsa that the sweet lady helping us made was the perfect addition. She was so kind, welcoming, and always had a friendly smile, which made the experience even better. Another thing that really stood out was how clean the restaurant is. It's spacious, with plenty of seating whether you're coming with a large group, your family, or just stopping by for a meal on your own. We absolutely loved this place and will definitely be back. Next time we're bringing my Salvadoran in-laws- I have a feeling this place will get their authenticity approval too! Spanish!

Service was quick, there is a big dining room with plenty of seating in case you want to dine in, looked very clean. Massive pupusas with a lot of filling, not one of those restaurants that give you nothing but masa, these pupusas were legit. They come with Curtido and the usual salsa roja. So much flavor packed into these things, these are some of the best pupusas I've ever had, good size and they do not cheap us out on filling. Definitely try em if you're in the area! Parking on the street, or in the back very limited in the alley.

I really wanted to like this place. This was my second time ordering from them through Uber Eats…read more The first time, I ordered because they were running a buy-one-get-one-free breakfast special. They forgot the cheese I paid extra for, but the food itself was so good that I was willing to overlook it and order from them again. Unfortunately, today's experience was completely different. The order took quite a while to prepare, which I don't blame on the delivery driver at all. I could see that he was waiting at the restaurant for an extended period, so I assumed they were just busy because of the promotion. When the food arrived, however, there were pieces of eggshell in the scrambled eggs. Even worse, while my boyfriend was eating his plátanos fritos, he found a hard piece of plastic in the food. Thankfully, he noticed it and was able to pull it out before swallowing it or getting hurt. I called the restaurant directly and also reported the issue to Uber Eats. I'm not writing this because I'm looking for free food or because I want to hurt a family-owned restaurant. I spent over $90 between the food, fees, and tip, and I ordered again because I genuinely enjoyed the food the first time. But finding hard plastic in someone's food crosses a line from an order mistake to a serious safety concern. Promotions and busy days happen, but food safety and basic quality control still have to come first. Unfortunately, after this experience, I would say eat here at your own risk. We were lucky enough to notice the plastic before someone was seriously hurt.

Later they also brought big fluffy tortillas, which I believe are the Salvadorean style tortillas. They are super soft, so fresh and fluffy. Pupusas They were huge!!! So flavorful and tasty. I tried the revueltas (cheese, fried pork, and beans) and the queso con jalapeno (cheese with jalapeno). Everything just melted in my mouth. I didn't expect the jalapeno one to have so much flavor too. The pupusas are my favorites out of everything I tried. Beef taco I tried this à la carte with the crunchy taco shell and shredded beef. There is a lot of filling (lettuce, tomato, and cheese) and the beef is tender. Not too greasy, not too dry. Love the crunchiness of the taco shell. The tacos are usually sold in twos with rice and beans. Carne Asada Plate The carne asada was very tender. Also comes with beans, simple salad, rice, and lemon wedge. There was no wait to get seated. Lots of seats and tables. They also have a TV with a movie playing. Service was good! Glad the server also has a sense of humor haha. The food took 15-20 minutes, which isn't too bad. The interior has a traditional Mexican aesthetic. Feels homey. The parking lot is not super big, but I had no problems parking on a Sunday. I would come back and recommend!

After several minutes, one of my brothers got up to get menus, and we still had not been approached by a server. During our wait, the employees appeared to be having a great time amongst themselves talking, laughing, and enjoying each other's company while we waited to be acknowledged. After about 15-20 minutes, a woman finally came to our table and asked, "Are you ready?" Her manner was very forward, but we placed our order. At the time, we didn't think too much about the long wait or the lack of service because we were busy talking, laughing, and joking around like brothers do. The restaurant appeared busy with takeout orders, which may have contributed to the delay. Our food arrived about 15 minutes later, and this is where the experience changed considerably. We ordered pupusas, tamales, and three main dishes: the Salvadoran chile relleno, beef guisado, and beef with onions. I have to say, the food was very good. The guisado and beef with onions were prepared with a traditional pumpkin, sesame seed, and tomato-based sauce that was rich and full of flavor. The handmade tortillas added an especially nice touch and complemented the dishes beautifully. The curtido served with the pupusas was also excellent. Overall, the food was well prepared, authentic, and full of flavor. Based on the food alone, I would highly recommend giving this restaurant a try. However, when I got home and finally read the reviews, I was surprised to see that many other customers had experienced similar issues with poor service and rude or unwelcoming employees. What concerns me most is that these complaints appear to have been consistent for quite some time, with little apparent improvement. The restaurant also currently has a "C" rating. This is unfortunate because this restaurant clearly has the potential to be an excellent eatery. The food demonstrates that there is real talent in the kitchen, but good food can only take a restaurant so far. I would strongly encourage the owner and management to address the customer service issues, improve how guests are greeted and treated, and take the recurring feedback seriously. If the service matched the quality of the food, this could be a truly outstanding restaurant.
