Looking for a place during this Lenten Friday and we came across this restaurant. This place is medium sized, the wait was minimal. They have a bar, TV's and a counter area too. We were greeted immediately. Very friendly staff. Not your standard starter of chips and salsa. A pleasant surprise when we received a small cup of warm broth with a shrimp, chips, lime, and salsa. This hit the spot as today was a chilly day. It's light, with a hint of lime and a tiny kick. The salsa seemed to be a simple standard tomato based salsa. I ordered a taco gobernador with shrimp. Not what I thought it would be like. It had melted cheese, but the shrimp was grounded. It was seasoned perfectly (tasted like chorizo) with a small side salad. The Torre Perhuete a tower of avocado on top of cooked shrimp, sautéed butterflied shrimp, sliced red onion, sliced cucumber, diced mango and fresh tuna on a plate of Clamato and Worcestershire sauce and more mango. It was a very good portion, it had flavor throughout, not too salty and the fruit balanced the Clamato. I will say the tuna could have used some seasoning but over all it was good. We also tried the Mojarra Frita-this dish came with a side of beans, rice, salad and tortillas. It was delicious, crispy skin, light flaky inside. My only critique is we needed more beans. They were delicious! This restaurant has something for everyone. Even if you're not into seafood, you can get a quesadilla with fries, chilaquiles, or chille relleno, among other dishes. We had a Mexican Sangria, standard in a bottle and an horchata. The horchata was a bit too sweet. Over all it was a satisfying meal. A must try.

BAD SERVICE!! We sat at our table for about 15-mins before someone came to ask us for our drinks. Then we order our food and had to keep asking them for tostadas, lime for our food. I ordered a tostada de ceviche which had no flavor and I ask for a hot sauce and it never came. Maybe that would've made the ceviche taste better, but I'll never know that since I never got the hot sauce. I do not recommend this place.

We have been going here for many many years. The service is getting worst each day but the quality of the food never changed... until now!! My favorite are the uy uy uy tacos but the cook should be ashamed that this tacos with this tortillas left his kitchen. It was a take out order and it ruined my dinner... 11/24/24- I wanted to update my review because the quality of the food has improved. Particularly the tacos shown. My husband and I decided to give it a second chance a few months ago and the tacos did not disappoint us. The empapelado was amazing as always. The tacos were as tasty as we remember from years ago. Thank you for getting your cooking together.

So, upon being seated, a small cup of very tasty shrimp soup with tostadas are brought out as appetizers. I got 1 taco and was full of meat. The limonada mineral was delicious!

Came to eat with my friends stopped here on the way home. I ordered camarones a la diabla, I have to say that they took so long to bring out our order and my I can only say my camarones sauce taste like can and water. Was disappointed, but the tostada mixta was delicious.

Smallest "large" I've ever seen. Charged $18.50 plus tax.
    Mildred L.

The size of this "large" to-go shrimp cocktail is RIDICULOUS!! I paid $16 for a large shrimp cocktail and charged an additional $2.50 for half a small avocado. $18.50 plus tax for this. Absolutely ridiculous! Will never be coming here again.

One of the BEST locations for Mexican sushi. This is not on their main menu (you have to ask for the sushi menu). The sushi takes a while to come out (the servers do let you know beforehand), but the wait is WORTH IT. It's an explosion of flavors in your mouth. The right amount of crunch, the right amount of creaminess with the right amount of heat. Try their agua de limon mineral as a perfect pairing with your sushi

hello I thought this would be a delicious stop to go to. I have seen their restaurants on social media but it might be other locations. Let me tell you the waitress demeanor and attitude is not very friendly. We ordered two simple peach margaritas, to which she brings over two concoctions that look like the tajin and chamoy exploded in the cups. As soon as I saw it I told her I'm sorry I'm not drinking that. She said o no, I said no I ask for a regular margarita, she replied well that's our regular margarita. I said no thank you and may I get a margarita on the rocks. When I said that I looked at my husband and my sister caught her giving me an evil look. I am not getting intimidated so you got the wrong one. The ambiance is a bit too loud for my taste. The food comes out and the rice was bland the mojarra was a 5/10 the beans were watery and my sister's fish filet was not cooked properly. The margarita on the rocks came out and was only margarita mix and of course with the dreaded tajin rim covered cup. I usually get margaritas with a rim of sea salt. I'm now believing it's just the name that's selling. We asked for plain iced water and it took more than 5 minutes to get it to our table. Then since we were just done we decided to go to the front and pay. I got the check and saw the three margaritas on the check. I told the waitress I'm not paying for them because we returned them waitress then says ooooo yeah Carlos will help you with that and walks away does t even say anything else. Yes Carlos did take the drinks out. And thank goodness, because I was not going to pay 40 for 3 margaritas that were way below par. I inserted my card paid the remainder tab and gave zero f's and zero tip for the deplorable service given. And yes I wrote in receipt horrible customer service. I get it my little purchase won't hurt the restaurant if I don't go anymore. But my experience might help someone that might want to try this location. Don't let others try to intimidate you to make you pay for horrible food or service. You may look pretty but your attitude is so ugly at least tonight it was.

    Traviezo (so so).
    Omar R.

My initial assessment was off by 100 miles. When I first walked in, I assumed it would be a dingy slow service place with mediocre service and food. I couldn't be more wrong about that. The service was fast, the customer service was amazing - super friendly server, great quality food with tons of options. I started with a shrimp and octopus cocktail (two thumbs up) and then tried the Octopus Traviezo (so so). They have lots of sauce options on the table, so you can adjust the spice and seasoning level to your desired taste. Will definitely visit again, but I'll stay away from the traviezo and emphasize more on the cocktails and ceviches.

Ordered online and received the food spilled. Horrible delivery. The driver took off right away.

It's empty only 7 tables and they can't make 2 enchiladas in 90min....

Entered the restaurant which we were greeted and seated. The host gave us some waters and stated that our server will be here in a few minutes. Ordered some alcoholic drinks as well. Received our food within 15 minutes. All was very good! No complaints on the taste of food. All was delicious. Pros: -Happy Hour drinks were decent -Plenty of parking -Clean Restaurant which felt old fashion -Live music is available Cons: -Had to keep calling our waitress over to assist us. -Seafood Cocktail was very expensive! Other Restaurants that tasted as good or better would average up to $16-$19. This place charges you $27 which I believe is too overpriced for some seafood cocktail. Dishes were above average pricing. Overall: Wouldn't me my first Mexican go to place due the expensive price for dishes and Seafood and it would not be the last to visit. This place had a good vibe. Ambiance was straight old fashion to the punch. A real Mexican joint without old school vibes.

I ordered the Yandy taco with Carne Asada and their agua frescas are homemade. I got the cucumber lime. The food was out in less than 10 minutes and I was excited to try it so I dined in my car. I asked for their spiciest salsa, which was the red one. First off the drink is delicious and not too sweet. I would love to try their other flavors. I believe they had Horchata, Jamaica and pineapple. The taco was delicious, it's like your typical crunchy American taco but better! It's no Taco Bell! They were generous with the toppings, and I will say that the cashier was friendly and explain to me the difference between their regular country taco and the Yandy, which comes with the works - sour cream, lettuce, generous amount of yellow cheese, and meat. The red sauce was perfect for that taco. I would say these tacos need to be eaten immediately so they don't get soggy. Now I get why people are eating in their car. I will definitely be coming back and spreading the word. They have great combo packs too that are great for a potluck or dinner night. Great spot!

The price and quantity is fair I think, but I'll have to try other things on their menu to see if just the horchata is not to my taste. Interior is very clean and spacious.
