It has been awhile since we ate here, and still is one of our favorite restaurants in Santa Fe. The guacamole, salsa, queso and chips we had were great. We also had a ground beef burrito smothered with green chille which was delicious. Service was great and friendly, food delicious, and atmosphere is nice. Overall, very had a very good experience.

Me and my sister had an amazing meal at Maria's a week ago in Santa Fe. We had never been there before and were not disappointed. I had the cheese enchiladas with green chili on the side. It came with refried beans, rice, and sopapillas. And they serve chips and salsa without it costing extra . The meal was delicious. Probably the best Mexican food I've ever had in Santa Fe. The service was great! Unfortunately, I can't remember our server's name, but she was awesome. The ambiance is very quaint and there's easy access to good parking in their parking lot. It's not on the plaza which makes it convenient.. On my next visit to Santa Fe I will definitely be going to Maria's. I need to also add they have a huge margarita menu. Lots to choose from. I went with the traditional house. Margarita which was delicious!

Loved how local this place feels. It's huge! Easy to park. Friendly people. Fun margarita list! Tasty Chile relleno!!! Yummy sopapilla, but the honey was solidified and hard to use... not just on my table.

I love this place. They're a classic spot, but the food is fresh. Service is always on point. The place is like 5 little restaurants all rolled into one. Killer cantina. Comfortable family dining room and extra party rooms. I feel like the food has gotten even better in the last few visits too. Best margarita list in town!

Went for a drink while waiting on our table at Paper Dosa. We were seated immediately and got our chips quickly. I personally didn't love my drink but I prefer sweeter drinks. The best part of our stay was a mariachi band coming in and playing. Will need to come again and try their food.

We were seated quickly with our 2 small dogs on the patio. Manuel was our server. He was friendly and informative about our questions about the menu. The food was delicious and well presented. He checked back on us several times to make sure that everything was great and refill our drinks

Love this place. Today was the taco plate. Besides chips, you also get a sopapilla with your meal. Waiter was very courteous. Happy hour is also a great deal for food.

Poor service poor quality food. Portions were small, food was cold, and margaritas were $20 and horrible. Below average ambiance.

Kind and quick - Parking: onsite lot, gets very crowded Came to Tomasita's on a Monday night while visiting my friend in Santa Fe. They don't take reservations and although it was very busy we were seated within 10 minutes. My friends raved about the "swirl" margaritas (Santa Fe classic, apparently) so we got a frozen margarita flight. We were able to adjust the drinks in the flight- they even made me a frozen spicy margarita although that wasn't technically on the menu. Very helpful wait staff. We shared the flautas and loaded nachos. Both were rich but fantastic. We asked for both with a side of green chiles (highly recommend). The flautas came with sopaipillas which were fresh, soft and YUMMY. (They even brought two more when we asked!) This is a vibrant place to come for special occasions or even a nice family dinner. Highly recommend especially if you're visiting!

We got to the restaurant at 4:30, which we thought would be plenty early enough. They were already packed with a line out the door. It took nearly 20 minutes just to reach the hostess stand and check in. One we did they told us it was a 25 minute wait. Fortunately by the time I waded through the crowds and got back to my group, I already got the text that our table was ready. The next part was chaotic at best. You had to wade back through the line of people still checking in to be seated. Once you got back to the hostess stand, it was every man for himself. There were so many people crowded in to the tiny space it was impossible to tell the people trying to get on the list from the people who had been called to their table. Groups of people were cutting to the front to get seated ahead of others who were already in line to get seated. The employees were not managing it well, instead of calling the name of the next person in line, they just seated the people in front, who as I already mentioned, may have just pushed their way ahead of people already waiting. We finally made to our table and were seated. I really appreciate our waiter, once we told him about our time crunch, he was on it. He got our orders in quickly and the food arrived quickly. He got everything perfect. When we finished he got the checks done fast and we made it out with plenty of time to spare. As far as the food is concerned, the majority of the group enjoyed their meal. One meal, a taco salad wasn't good. The chicken was dry and the fried tortilla bowl was tough and chewy, not crispy. The sopapillas were hot and delicious, served with honey butter and honey. Overall experience was very mixed, terrible check in, great waiter, mostly good food.

The prices are super reasonable, especially considering how generous the portion sizes are. I went with the Chile Rellenos, and honestly, "amazing" is an understatement. They were executed to perfection: light and golden batter that wasn't greasy at all, chiles that held their shape without getting mushy, and perfectly melted cheese inside. But the real star of the show is the sauce. Whether you get red, green, or go "Christmas" style like I did, you can taste the real depth of flavor and high-quality ingredients in every single bite. It's the kind of comfort food that makes you want to take your time and savor every bit--though I was already thinking about what I'm going to order next time before I even finished my plate! Between the friendly, prompt service and the incredible food, Tune-Up Café is easily one of the best eating spots in town. Would never come back again. ============= This review got flagged by Yelp HQ, let me rewrite this and be clear of what happened. I walked into El Callejon Taqueria and Grill, located on 208 Galisteo St Santa Fe, NM 87501 on Aug 22 2026. It was on a Saturday night, right before 9pm. This was my first weekend in the city of Santa Fe, on both Yelp and Google this location shows the restaurant closes at 11pm. When I walked in the bartender told me that it was closed. I wouldn't care that a business is closed before the listed hours; it was the way the bartender went about it. He could have politely told me that the kitchen was closed, and I would not have had any problem with it. He walked up to me within arm's length and continuously repeated "sorry we are closed" multiple times while getting closer to me. It was one of the worst experiences I have had to get escorted "asked" out of a restaurant. The experience was not good. To be clear I never get to try the food here.
