To be quite honest, I found this place thanks to TikTok, when I searched up "Things to Do in…read moreLexington, KY". Let me tell you...I am so glad we followed through with checking this place out!! Immediately upon walking in you're hit with this amazing smell of pizza. The line may be long at times but the service was very fast. There's were a handful of types available; we ended up trying a cheese, pepperoni, buffalo chicken, and their pepper slice. All of them were absolutely delicious. But....the star of the show....is their habanero hot sauce. That is SO GOOD. You'd think habanero...spicy, burn your mouth hot but no...this says is so flavorful and just delicious. You can purchase the sauce at $2/bottle (little bottles) and that we did!

It's a quick-order, pizza-by-the-slice kind of spot, but we decided to sit at the bar and order a whole pizza along with an appetizer. The bartenders were warm, welcoming, friendly, and attentive, which made for a great experience. The only downside was that our food seemed to take an unusually long time to arrive. However, once it finally did, we dug in--and everything was delicious! Overall, a great casual spot to grab some pizza and drinks after a day of touring. Would definitely recommend!

When we walked in it was quiet there were two tables that had people eating. They also have an outdoor patio. patio. The woman behind the bar was friendly and patient. My friend ordered the Alfredo pasta and I got the thin crust Hawaii five O. We also got sweet tea and a unsweetened iced tea. I didn't have to add any sugar substitute to mine while my friend said her ice tea was a little too sweet. The server was nice enough to add some unsweetened tea to her drink. After that my friend said her tea was much better. The breadsticks with garlic butter were really good. My pizza was nice and crunchy with ample toppings. I took the rest home and had it for dinner. The pasta was also really good and my friend enjoyed it. There's plenty of seating inside& the restaurant was clean. The tables are dark wood so you'd be able to see every crumbs and water mark from glasses. The bathroom was clean as well and didn't have any funky bathroom smells.

He was taking care of the bar and also checking on customers in the dining area. He did a great job taking care of me. The beer was ice cold. They have a great selection of craft beer on tap and the digital beer menu makes it very easy to choose what you want. I didn't have time to eat, so can't comment on the food. If it is anything like the other Apollo locations, you can't go wrong with the pizza or wings.

I am here to report: it is actually really good. A lot of their schtick is weird toppings. I had sweet potato and chorizo. Chorizo's not too far off from a normal pizza sausage, but somehow sweet potato actually works. It was nice as its own thing, didn't really blend with tomato sauce but that's fine, and it was also perfectly tender somehow. What I really liked was how crisp it was. The dough was relatively thick and flavorful, but the whole thing had a really good char on it.

You can order pizza by the slice up to the whole za. They have a large topping list, you can get a slice or two or three with custom toppings. I got 2 slices and it was plenty, super cheesy too. I'd say I have a normal female appetite. Do they have other food? Yes, they serve breakfast, but I paid no attention to anything else. I had tunnel pizza vision goggles on. AND - live music

I tried a…read morecouple of their individual slices, the seasonal meat pizza with corn, poblano, country ham, and blueberry relish, plus a classic pepperoni slice, and their breadstick. Every single bite was incredible. I love that they use a sourdough dough. The crust was so flavorful and perfectly chewy with an amazing crispy bottom. The breadstick was absolutely to die for, especially with the garlic butter. This is hands down the best Detroit style pizza I've had. You can tell how much creativity and care goes into everything they make. The owner is incredibly talented, and this place deserves so much more recognition. They also have a cozy indoor and outdoor seating area and a few free parking spots on the side, which makes visiting even easier. If you love pizza, you need to give Rise Up Pizza a try!

They didn't have a big variety on their menu but they only had 1 person working. I went with the pepperoni slice with a breadstick. I was surprised how cheap it was. My total only came out to be $6.00. The food was goo. The crust was thick and there were a lot of pepperonis on it. It was disappointed in the lack of cheese on the pizza. It was practically nonexistent. There was some sprinkled parmesan and that's about it. Luckily there were a lot of seasonings on the pizza so it wasn't a deal breaker. Overall my friend and I enjoyed the food and will be happy to try Rise Up again
