I have been going to casa grande since I moved to Somerset almost 3 years ago. I always get the same thing. 4 steak street tacos. I usually get it a couple times a month. This past month they have went downhill very fast. Idk what's going on but the steak is very tough, the shells are falling apart very quickly. The chips are extremely thick, not like normal tortilla chips. I'm not sure what happened but this is likely the last time I'm going to go to this restaurant. read more

Excellent service. Take your wife or husband for fajitas. I had steak, chicken and shrimp-excellent. The half -order is enough for 2! Take your spouse and get fajitas and grab a margarita or two!!! read more

Called in an order to go. Picked up and got 20 minutes later to find out the burrito was steak and cheese only. No guacamole, lettuce, sour cream, sauce. Just a plain burrito. Usually love this place but that changes the whole dish. read more

The food is always hot and delicious Their steak and chicken is very tasty in their burritos. The service is always good fast and they always fill your drink up. The employees are good workers and take care of their customers well Inside the restaurant, it gives you a feel of being in Mexico. which, ironically I have been in Tijuana Mexico before. read more

A Typical Mexican Restaurant, service was standard and unremarkable, Menu is the started run of the mill Mexican food, nothing makes this place stand out. read more

Just do not ever place a to go order here, if you can even get anyone to answer the phone they will forget to put your order in. Food is typically ok. Ambience is ok, if you do not mind asking for thing several times before they bring it out. read more

Underwhelmed. This is not authentic Mexican food and is salty. The service was very fast and friendly. The food was good but not what I expect for authentic Mexican. Will I come back, maaaaybe but unsure. read more

*I love Casa Grande!* What I enjoy most is the "All-U-Can" eat buffet... Mmmmmm ‍ Think about this for a moment.. * You are responsible for the 'family' dinner but you don't want to cook-Casa Grande! * Cost?? It would cost you just as much if not more to purchase the ingredients to prepare a meal for the ENTIRE family.. ~~~~~~~~ Any more questions?? ** ENJOY ** Chastity Marcum read more

Man the service has gone so far down hill. Food quality drink quality all of it with new management. Cold food, they messed up tacos with cold rubbery meat. The chicken Amsi it's and cuts are bad and margaritas are watered down. It's been a slide and now this duke will find a new kingdom. read more

Casa Grande - Best Margarita in town - Mexican Near Me - Somerset, Kentucky

I've been coming to casa since I was a little girl... it's always been our go to spot. Super fast service, very clean, and the best chips and salsa while you wait. The food is always perfect! They have two locations but Casa 2/south Casa, is my favorite! It seems less crowded and a little quieter in there. Even though they are always busy busy. Their takeout is very good as well! We tried to support them a lot during the shut down last year, and the fajitas with the 4 different kinds of meat was so good and had plenty for two to share! read more

Always a good experience. Food well prepared and arrives quickly. Service is mixed based on the server you get, from stellar to just "alright" but nothing out of the ordinary. If you're looking for true Mexican, you'll be disappointed, but if you go expecting Americanized Tex-Mex, you're on the right track. read more

Casa is a great place with multiple locations. They have speedy service and a great margarita.

The chili relleno was excellent...one of the best I've ever had. The service was excellent. The salsa could have had more of a kick for my tastes, but all in all it was an excellent dining experience. read more

If I could give it 0 starts I would. I played it safe and ordered a Chicken quesadilla. It wasn't grilled or pressed, the chicken was dry, and the cheese wasn't melted. I sent it back to have more cheese put on it and to have that cheese melted. When it was brought back they had simply put queso on it. Their queso was the consistency of water. Very disappointed because it's a QUESADILLA! The simplest food to make. Will not be going back. read more

Casa Grande - Chicken "quesadilla" - Mexican Near Me - Somerset, Kentucky

We were at friend's cottage, and came over here for dinner. My husband ordered for two of us with chicken, beef, shrimp fajitas, it comes with huge quantity, he also ordered salad or something with a dozen chicken wings. Both of our friends are vegan.. so their food choice are limited. The fajitas is tasty but oily.. but i like it.. probably not very healthy..once in a while should be ok. read more

We visited Casa Grande a few weeks ago with a bunch of people, we were more than 15 people, but even with so many people, and considering that the place was full, the waiter and waitress delivered perfect service. There was a girl waitressing and she talked to us in spanish (I'm Mexican), so that was a nice detail! The food was very good, and this is not something that you can find always, the real mexican flavor. So, this place is a good place to go if you are in the states and want to try some mexican flavors. The prices are very affordable, and the place is clean and nice. I would definitively recommend this place for all those who like mexican food, it is one of the few I could recommend. MUST Visit. read more

Wouldn't even give them one star but I had to to review. Regardless of what yelp says, sign on door says close at 9:30. In town for a funeral, been at visitation since 4 pm, starved. Got to the restaurant at 9:15 and door was locked. Employee opened the door and asked if I was picking up a to go order. I said no but I needed to place on. "Sorry but we're closed". I said it's 9:15, you don't close for another 15 minutes. He said sorry and shut the door in my face. Great friendly service....not! read more

We are from outta state.. driving thru.. Glad we stopped!! Amazing food!! All the staff was super friendly!! Past post almost stopped us from coming.. It's a must stop!! I hadn't been a while thought id go and and see if it had improved any sad to say NO! Server was not friendly yes we got seated quickly and got our drinks and before i could check out menu here he wants to take our order. I got taco griiled steak salad. Bland very small had to get cheese dip to give it taste and steak was tough. My mom got a taco nothing on it when it came except lettuce no sour cream or tomatoes which are in season. Nephew got burrito . When you chk out it seems like they are not friendly either i dont get it paying customers whoever you are should be treated with respect. 2* on food and service read more

Good food but check your prices on tequila before ordering. $6 per shot of house is pretty steep.

The staff sat and greeted us in a timely manner. The food was excellent, and we received it within a timely manner of ordering. Did not catch our servers name, however he brought everything we asked for quickly and nicely. read more

Steak was well done when asked for medium rare, and the pork was dry and hard, however the pollo loco was fantastic and service was decent.

Worst Mexican food ever. The food was bland and tasteless. Terrible chips, salsa and guac.Just awful. The waiter didn't check on us during our meal, however, he did come by towards the end of our meal, said something to my husband and took his plate away before he was finished. OMG Miserable experience. read more

This has been a go to for many years however, the past few times the folks working are more worried about socializing and not taking correct orders. We had to return an order and instead if an apology and corrected order, they proceeded to explain that it was my fault and I ordered wrong (not true) and then treated very bad. I guess they do not mind losing customers! Instead of making it right they made it worse. Sad especially when there is hard times due to covid and most places want to please customers. By the way the phone line was off the hook when we went back I am assuming they did not want further call in orders or. Extremely unprofessional and honestly shocked it hapoened here. read more

We've been eating at Casa Grande 2 since it opened and love the food and the service. Luis and staff are friendly and make you welcomed. The food is consistently good and made to order. We use their take out service now instead of eating inside due to the coronavirus. Their takeout is nicely packaged, generous portions, and always taste terrific. No Mexican adult meal would be complete without a perfect margarita and Luis and staff know how to make them. read more

One of my Favorite Mexican restaurants in Somerset or hat I have even been to, I come here all the time, seating is quick they get your drinks and food quick, they also bring you chips and salsa when they seat you which is very good. I highly recommend Casa Grande read more

We love this place, the food is great and the staff is awesome. It's our favorite in Somerset!!

To be honest I'm sure this place has at least average food. However, the service and hospitality of the establishment threw all that out of the window before my party and I could even be seated or served. My party was composed of 5 people and 1 dog but the hostess/server/manager was immediately turned off to any service once she locked on to the sweet and lovable Luna (my friend's dog). I try and be objective about things as much as I can. On Casa Grande's behalf, their no pet policy is somewhat understandable. I wouldn't want to be held liable if someone's dog, cat, or fish bit someone or caused a disruption, no matter how small of a risk the animal would actually commit such an action. However, on behalf of my party, Luna was causing no disruption or had a history of any aggression at public establishments such as Casa Grande's. Thus, reasonably it can be argued that it is on the discretion of the host or supervisor to allow a pet to dine in the outdoor patio. Case Grande didn't see things like that and there was no room for compromise whatsoever. After a passive aggressive exchange between the hostess/server/all-in-one worker and a couple of my party members, we left Casa Grande without having even been seated or given a chance to work something out. As I said before, their food probably is average to good at best and their service acceptable on a normal occasion, but we just happened to be the unfortunate party with a canine. My advice to potential patrons: do not bring a pet of any sort or you will be disappointed (perhaps moreso even without a pet). There is no ill will thought between me personally and Casa Grande but you'd have better luck at the neighboring El Taxco down the road which actually allowed Luna to just chill underneath the table. So until I actually go through the dining process at Casa Grande, my review will stay at a 1-Star unfortunately. read more

Mr. Douglas has said the same this on all Mexican restaurants in Somerset. I have a friend that works there and she helps prepare food it's not freezer to cooking ever.
