Well let's just say unless they made a bad mistake or used old meat for there order I am baffled by how sick I've become to the point where I'm going to consult with my lawyer and sue. The Fahita Nachos food was cold and everything tasted burnt and when I ate within 30 seconds I went to the bathroom over 10 times that's uncalled for. Just know that if you order online, pay online, and then go to pick up your food, they may have already given it to someone else and tell you that you're out of luck and for you to take it up with DoorDash for a refund! That's exactly what happened to us. I carried out my end of the transaction and, eventually, was begrudgingly given my order after they said someone else picked it up. They were literally planning on turning us away with no food, even though it was paid for, and they were responsible for giving our food to the wrong person!!! It is not the patron's fault that the restaurant did not carry out due diligence. When you order online, it asks for your name, address, and phone number, so obviously, the staff did not verify those details. Very disappointing! Very unprofessional! Soured the whole evening. We are a family of vegetarians, who ordered about six dishes off the vegetarian combo menu. It was a pretty mediocre experience. The salsa seemed straight out of a can. The chips definitely were stale. The sauce in the chike poblano also seemed canned. The cheese was awful - seemed congealed (not melted, congealed). The fajita veggies were a bit dry, and flavored with a mix of spices that just didn't blend right. Wow! Mi Jalisco is the best Mexican restaurant in town! Mi Casa just doesn't compare. My daughter is allergic to tomatoes, so we always order the extra cheese dip. The workers are fast bringing it out, and they are always very kind. The menu brings many options, especially for picky eaters. If you aren't the biggest fan of true Mexican food, they serve cheese quesadillas and French fries, and I believe they sell grilled cheese. The prices are also very reasonable! read more

I'm from San Antonio. The place can be a hit or miss. I find most Americans and locals like fat, grease and cheese. Me too on occasion. The chips were fresh, and my choice is the individual tacos. Very authentic. Some of the plates were to Americanized. I wish they had Margaritas, but they have Jarritos pop so that works. It's a good Mexican place for tacos and pico de Gallo. I respect their preference not to serve alcohol. read more

I think they mistakenly thought I was three people because the portion of Fajitas they brought to my table was ridiculously large. Really great flavor and the tortillas, pico, and sour cream were great. Guacamole was just alright, if you have ever had really good guacamole it's difficult to get excited about the usual green goop at most Mexican joints. The rice and refried beans weren't particularly flavorful but I rarely care if the entrée is good and the fajitas carnitas were really good also the salsa was spot on! The food was weird. I got a spicy chicken - it was a slab of overcooked chicken, with a spicy barbeque sauce and 1 1/2 inch square chunks of cheese thrown on top. The rice was plain and it was served with pale pinto beans that lacked flavor. I was travelling and didn't have time to send the food back. Not a good experience. I won't be back. read more

I was cyber-stalked 15 minutes after leaving the restaurant. My boyfriend and I stopped at Mi Jalisco in Corbin on our way back to Lexington. I used my credit card to pay for our meal, where the employee who rang us up made a lame marijuana joke after I tipped $4.20 on the bill. 15 minutes after leaving the restaurant, I got a notification for a friend request on Facebook from someone I did not know. After glancing at the information, I realized that it was from the employee who had rung up our bill at Mi Jalisco. I am not from Corbin and I did not introduce myself. HE GOT MY NAME FROM MY CREDIT CARD TO LOOK ME UP ON THE INTERNET. I was sufficiently creeped out. An employee had used my confidential credit card information to find me on the internet while he was on the clock at work. I denied the friend request and sent a message to him informing him of how inappropriate it was to use my credit card information on social media and that he should take his stalking tendencies elsewhere. About 20 minutes later, I received another friend request from him. That's when I blocked him completely and decided to contact the restaurant. The following day, I called Mi Jalisco and requested to speak to a manager. The employee I spoke to did not speak English very well, so I agreed to call back later when another employee would be working and could translate. I called back later that evening and got in touch with the employee I needed to. However, there was still a major communication gap because no one seemed to understand why I was upset or what the issue was. At one point, when I told him the name of the employee who had contacted me, HE PUT THE STALKER EMPLOYEE ON THE PHONE. I managed to get transferred back to the original employee without the stalker employee knowing who I was, but it was terrifying. After shouting into the phone that if that employee contacted me again, I would take legal action, he seemed to understand at least that I was incredibly angry. He took my number (after assuring me no one else would have access to it) and said that his boss would contact me. The food and service at Mi Jalisco were excellent, but my experience afterward was nothing short of nightmarish. If I do not not hear back from the manager at Mi Jalisco by tomorrow (Monday) evening, then I will not be following up with them and I will just contact the Corbin Police Department and let them investigate the severe breach in personal and financial security happening there. Hopefully this is just a case of some moronic kid with bad social skills, but it's better to be safe than sorry when your personal information is at stake. read more

I'm not even sure where to start but the food here is not good at all. The sauce on the enchilada literally looks and tastes like spaghetti sauce that comes in a can and the salsa has the same taste. The "crispy" tacos were soggy and falling apart from soaking in liquid on the plate, the guacamole looked "whipped" with very few pieces of actual avocado visible. I am not a picky eater, especially when it comes to Mexican food so for me to give it 1-star, it is bad. read more
