I am very particular about Mexican food. I no longer live in the area of my favorite spot- I've tried countless restaurants in several states, and none compare. Until now. Si Senor was delicious. I got a vegetable chimichanga. I am a plant based eater and often, my vegetables are not seasoned. I carry packets of Sazon Goya with me to ease the disappointment. For the first time in years, I did not need them. Everything was excellent with great portion sizes at a fair price. Out of the several Mexican restaurants in the area, based on reviews, this one won. I'll be honest, I expected over the top Mexican food. The chips and salsa was amazing but my tamale and enchilada were just okay. I didn't finish them. The restuarant was small and you could see into the kitchen area. What I found interesting was the chair and 2 pack n plays set up in the corner. We were there around 3:00 on a Saturday and noticed it was all women working, which I actually appreciated. read more

I'm surprised no one has reviewed this popular gem! We chose this place based on the packed parking lot every time we've driven by. Today was just as packed with the lunch crowd. The food is authentic beginning with the complimentary chips and homemade just spicy enough salsa. My husband ordered the Chicken Quesadilla which I tasted and it was delicious - crispy grilled flour tortilla and the chunky shredded chicken was fresh from a grilled chicken breast. He loved it. The refried beans and fluffy rice were very flavorful and light (not greasy). I ordered the Chiles Rellenos with chicken and red sauce. The poblano pepper is just a notch spicier than a green bell pepper, which is perfect for this gal who likes spicy but not melt your face off heat. Watch out for the seeds though, they're the devil. The poblano was perfectly roasted, stuffed with the tender, juicy shredded chicken chunks and topped with an amazing "red" sauce. It was heavenly! Refried beans and rice also accompanied this dish. Friendly staff that speaks English well. Clean and nice, lively atmosphere. Well worth a short drive from I-75 if you're traveling through, or like myself and hubby - plan to become a regular at this amazing establishment! read more

The food was pretty good, but service was bad. We went on a Tuesday at lunch so there were only two other tables, and three waitresses. After our food was served, she didn't come back for 20-30 minutes just to give us the check. My order was wrong and everyone else was finished eating before I even started. All three waitresses were sitting at a table talking and eating, I'm just not the type to flag one down. read more

This place has to be the worst Mexican food we have ever had and that is based on hundreds of different establishments . Our quesadilla was absolutely a joke. It had two tortillas and a small dry chewy amount of steak. The cheese in it was all concentrated in a 2 inch area in the center with the rest completely void of any. I ordered the dish with fresh vegetables that in actuality were reheated frozen far from fresh vegetables. The taste was bland and the salsa was basically plain tomato sauce. Clearly anyone who thinks this place is good has not been outside Corbin, Kentucky. The service is the only reason they even get a star but we came here to eat not get service. read more

This Mexican restaurant is the absolute best in the tri-county area. Service is always fantastic and the food is always delicious. As a lover of all things hot and spicy, the salsa picante is a must for me. It will make you sweat, but it's absolutely worth it. A few of my favorites are the chori pollo, big fat burrito, steak fajitas. You're missing out if you haven't tried this place yet. read more

Excellent ! We were Leary at first because there were no reviews, but I'm so glad we tried it ! The food was great ! I got beef, and seasoned pork tacos, and both were excellent ! They were the authentic type corn tortillas that fall apart so they required some use of the fork lol. They were well worth it ! The service and food was just excellent ! I am happy we found a new place to enjoy. Thank y'all very much the staff was all great ! read more
