No consistency. The first time the Chili Colorado was delicious and we tried two more times and none were nothing alike, varying from taste of Colorado chiles to Campbell's tomato soup. We decided at lunch today to try this restaurant based on online reviews. Our total experience well exceeded the reviews or anything we expected and that says something as we're native Texans and have a high threshold for good Mexican food. The restaurant is large, extremely clean, great ambiance with Mexican music playing in the background, so reasonably priced and very welcoming. Our waitress was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. Their menu is extensive and we started with two margaritas, which happened to be on happy hour, and a bakotato which is a potato wrapped with bacon, then cut in medallions, then baked, and finally covered with sour cream, cheese, and butter. That for sure is the best baked potato I have had in my life. We followed that with two of their lunch specials, which included an enchilada, a crispy taco and refried beans. We took home enough food for additional meals. I can't say enough good things about this establishment, but we will return the next time we're in the area and I highly recommend it. read more

Always a favorite spot! I ordered the carne asada today. I got mine without lettuce that it normally comes with. Super delicious and the staff is always super friendly. I was seated quickly and got my food within 10 minutes of ordering even with the busy crowd. read more

We were visiting the area from out of town and are perhaps spoiled by being used to really good Mexican food. The food was fine. Pepe's in Columbia not impressed..second time I have are there ... salad was watery .. I got like 2 table spoons of dressing .. they were rude and customer services was lacking ..the beans and rice was cold ... they need to step up their game when you have competition in the town... you are one of 3 in the town .. read more

Great Mexican food!! Monday's are half priced margarita (after 3pm) and buy 1 beer get 1 half price. I had the strawberry margarita and it was really strong, just the way I like them. Sorry no picture, I drank it really fast. I had the Pechuga Rellena (with bacon) and the hubby had Paco's Chipotle chicken. Both were absolutely delicious!!! The salsas are homemade, we especially liked the green one (hotter). This place is locally owned and very clean. The staff was so friendly and definitely steered us in a great direction on what to eat. We will be coming here every time we come to Cumberland. The worst service of any restaurant I have been in in over a decade. Less than 20 customers in the restaurant. 30 plus minutes to take our drink order. Then they bring out one cocktail at a time. About another 30 minutes to get our cocktails. Party of 3 people over one hour just to order. If you have 2 to 3 hours time for one Margarita and some so so Mexican food then by all means have at it. This place needs management. Avoid or call in your order the day before you go it may be ready when you get there. If I could give a negative 2 star I would. read more

Solid place! Don't let the fact that it looks a bit like an office building turn you off. Delicious food, excellent service, great prices. We had the queso, chimichanga, tacos, and enchilada and were happy with all of them. Service was friendly and super fast. Open late for a small town. read more
