Craving savory empanadas, your search stops here! Their empanadas are delicious! Their fillings are so good and flavorful while keeping the dough soft and flakey. They have lots of indoor/outdoor seating. Not sure if they have WiFi but looks like a nice coworking place and or a place to watch soccer. Dog friendly patio.

Stopped in for a small bite on our way to another event and was not disappointed! A bacon, egg, and cheese empanada is just what the morning called for. This was an absolutely delicious treat. Service was quick and around $5 for a breakfast nosh, can't beat it! Having been to the one in Stanley Marketplace, I can't wait to revisit Maria Empanada on Broadway again!

what shocked me about this place was not just the cute ambiance, but HOW SWEET the server at the counter was!! Felt like he's trying to build a community. A very cute spot to work from home, close to a gas station and other restaurants - cozy inside. They also offer coffee and PASTRIES Empanadas are mediumly priced at 6 each - I'm fine with it because the whole experience is fun. Great musical playlist in here too. It's like I'm transporting to another world

We were just exploring Broadway and decided to stop in to Maria empanada, because we wanted a little snack, but not a heavy meal. Their menu is stacked, the names of each empanada are unique, I can't remember which one I went with by name, but it was chicken inside, and I got it with the garlic cilantro Crema. It was so delicious.! I almost went back and got another one. But instead, I tried their pistachio alfanores which was also super yummy and rich. Totally will come back to try more empanada varieties!

Stopped in for a quick to-go breakfast order between errands on a Saturday. Maria Empanada has plenty of options, and on this day, they had a new flavor: Bacon, Egg, & Cheese. It was filled with fluffy scrambled eggs, thick-cut bacon, a gooey blend of cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese, tomato, onion, and a touch of jalapeño. This empanada packed a ton of flavor, and I hope they keep it on the menu! Located on the NE corner at the intersection of S. Broadway and Louisiana, look for the bright golden sun painted on the side of the building. There is plenty of seating inside and patio seating on nice days. Walk up to the counter display to place your orders with the friendly employees who are happy to help or answer any questions you might have.

Quickly writing aboit Maria's new flavor! Sweet BBQ far exceeded my expectations. This place is my go-to location of Maria E and each time I go here there is absolutely no disappointment or whatsoever. And I was surprised by a new flavor at my most recent visit there just yesterday and it is Sweet BBQ! I almost always get a few empanadas when I go to Maria E's and along with this new face, I got me one of my go-to's, Potato and Egg (I like their vegetarian options a lot.) And yet, this Sweet BBQ truly shocked me. In a way, it beat the Potato and Egg far exceedingly. The sweet bbq sauce that marinated the meat had the perfect sweetness. And the sauce was just the right amount where it didn't overpower the meat. The store was (as always) spotlessly clean. Service top-notch. There is something special about Maria for sure!

We have tried breakfast and other empanadas over the years and enjoy trying new flavors each time; have never been disappointed with any of the profiles we have tried; always the perfect blend of ingredients and spices.

Recently, I visited Buenos Aires for the first time and absolutely loved it! I returned home yesterday and had this strong desire to visit Maria Empanada. So glad this business exists in the greater Denver area. It so reminds me of being back in Argentina and it will inspire me to return again soon. Today I ordered one of their new empanadas, Italiana. It didn't disappoint! I also had my favorite, Argentinian. Always on point! Cappuccino and a small dessert were a nice bookend. I wish Maria would put a location in Castle Rock. Fingers crossed. LOVE this place!!

Loved this concept! Store was clean and staff were welcoming and helpful. The empanadas were delicious. We chose to get a 6 pack. They were easy to reheat and were very tasty.

I am particularly fond of Maria Empanada as a place to buy empanadas. During a break from work, I visited the location, as it was nearby, and savored a delicious empanada. Regrettably, the empanadas were dry and flavorless, but the alfajores were delightful and sweet. I will give them another try in the near future since these are favorite Argentine empanadas in town.

Very clean and welcoming cafe like feel! Friendly staff who even came over to say hi to our baby. I think we tried almost every flavor. Next time we visit Denver we will be back!

Ok, so my dad and I were making a road trip from LA to KC and as we were driving through Denver we decided that Maria Empanada would be a good lunch spot for us. And I'll be honest...I've been wanting to try the empanadas since it was featured on Triple D and our road trip was the perfect opportunity! Dad wasn't 100% sure about it but figured why not...and was very pleased with our lunch! We ended up ordering the Argentina, the Diego, and the Beef empanadas and OMG. The sauces and the giant empanadas were delicious! You go up to the counter and see the amazing spread of empanadas and just...I wish Maria Empanada was local so I could try alll the empanadas. The staff were awesome with answering questions about the various options - granted it's been a year so I have no idea what questions I actually asked. Next time I'm in Denver, I'm definitely gonna find a way to come back and try other options!

Came in for dinner before the Two Feet concert and it got us in the mood for a fun night of laughter, dancing and serious burning of calories. Recently opened, it hasn't been discovered to where you can't get reservations or a spot at the bar. Place starts filling around 8ish and the club atmosphere kicks in around 1030pm. Staff is attentive without being overly helicopter as you dine or drink. Incredible drink selections are amazing with a nice selection of rum. Had the melo cocktail which features avua cachaca, a rum but sure tasted like the strongest tequila fun decision of the night. Babe had the Zona Rosa which is basically a fruit salad with tequila and rum. We ordered the ceviche de chicharrone that has such great flavors with crispy pork belly. Nothing left but a scraped up bowl. Suggest also the empanadas because you can't come here and not taste a staple item. The carne asada is amazing and basically a large slab of nicely grilled meat. LOVE IT!!!! Babe had the hamburguesa paisa which also is a nice slab of beef with bacon topped with pineapple salsa. I wish I could have had room for dessert but my slinky dress didn't cooperate. Next time... I have my eyes on the panna cotta de cafe and cheesecake guava. Looking forward to a return visit with friends. Happy to discover this cool spot opened its doors, has awesome vibes, and stuff that makes you want to get on your feet.

So, we decided to take him for a relaxing evening for some "home cooking;" his dad is from Colombia. I'd driven by this place for years, always thought it was cute, but never had been in to try it out. Well, the inside is even cuter than the curbside! We were quickly greeted and shown to a table. It was around 8 on a Friday night. The service was just what my friend's dad needed, joking around in Spanish and answering random questions that an older person might have when seeing food they grew up with and hadn't seen in a while... and, then, the food. I'm not familiar with Colombian cuisine, so I wanted to try something traditional. The presentation was sizable and I really like color on a plate. Then, it was flavorful and filling?! YUM. We walked out of the experience laughing and purely delighted at having had a great night in sharing a unique experience. Strongly suggest folks swinging through, when you're in the neighborhood... or, give yourself a special occasion and make a trip!

The shrimp and corn grits were amazing, and I really loved the aged cheddar mac and cheese. Other dishes like the chickpea croquettes and the chili relleno were also pretty good and rounded out the meal nicely. The wait staff was fantastic. Super friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. The restaurant itself has a cool, lively vibe. The only minor downside was that the outdoor heaters were a bit too hot, but that's a very small nitpick. Overall, an easy 5 out of 5 stars.
