Good papusas. I got a chicken and an Al Pastor and it was good. Nothing that blew my mind away but they have a large menu so maybe I haven't found that hidden gem in their menu. Mile High Papusas is part of a food court so it lacks in the ambiance aspect as it is a tiny room you enter into where you order off a tablet screen. This place would be great when you need something quick for work but it's not a sit down restaurant. I will say the service was fine as I got my order within 15 minutes as it was pretty busy that day. read more

I had a perfectly serviceable lunch at Mile High Pupusas. I had a chicken pupusa and the revuela, which were both fine, along with a Mexican coke. Perhaps a little heavy on the beans for my taste. I probably could have eaten another one. Nothing at all wrong with this place and perfectly serviceable for a homey and filling lunch. The food came out in about 10 minutes, and they have a small place to sit inside which is nothing to write home about but again, perfectly fine for the meal. There are a lot of five star reviews for this place and I guess I just can't go quite that far. For five stars I want something more in the way of ambiance, the food to be a little more special, and to be served at the table. If you are into this sort of food, you can fill yourself up with tasty morsels for a cheap price, and I recommend you try it. read more

Easy to find. Lots of parking. Lots of menu choices (and they stock Mexican Coke). Ordering is fast. Payment is easy. The order (4 papusas...revuelta, chicken, lítico, and Hawaiian...and a pork tamale) was ready in less just a few minutes. The food was still hot when I got home. All was delicious, including the sauce and slaw. I am definitely adding this place to my rotation of lunch places. read more

We drove from Boulder because we heard about this place. We were really excited to try it out. We get there and it's a ghost town at the front counter. We wait and a young guy comes out from the back. I enthusiastically greet him and I get a stare. A glare really. He keeps glaring and in a tone that told me he really didn't want us there says what can I get you. I told him we'd need a little while to look at the menu. He says aight and returns to the back. We were stunned at his demeanor. My companion said he didn't feel like he wanted us there. So we left. We had such high hopes for this place. I don't know if he was having a bad day but this was unacceptable. A simple hello there would have been nice. Dreadful customer service. read more

This is one of those hidden gems that you may pass by on your drive.. well don't! Make sure you make this your next stop for lunch or dinner because it will not disappoint. I will warn you though, the pupusas are pretty big so unless you bring a huge appetite, you should be ok with 2 of them ($3/ea). The curtido and the salsa come with and when you add it all together it is a delicious meal. For 18$ we had 5 pupusas and a drink and we felt more than satisfied.. They do take cards and there's a very small area for you to enjoy your meal. It's small but it looked welcoming and clean. Give it a try next time you're on Hampden :) read more

From the moment we walked in the door we knew we made a good choice. From pleasant greeting to recommendations for our kids we were all taken care of. Every person order came in it's own box just as ordered. I had the asada pupusa and a quest pupusa both smothered in delicious green Chile topped with sour cream. We originally were going to take it to go but since there was seating and it was cozy we decided to stay. Music was playing in the back ground and we were even checked in on to make sure we enjoyed the meal. We will be back! read more

Highly disappointed. Spend $20 on what I thought was 2 orders of pupusas, which in the pictures depicted 3 pupusas with cabbage and sauce and ordered what I thought was an extra pupusas with one of the meals but it turned out to be only 2 individual pupusas and added meat to one. This is a ghost kitchen so there is no one to ask questions about the menu. This is a simple example of false advertising. The 2 stars are only bcuz the food actually tasted good, but still highly disappointed. read more

Que Putaso echa este restaurant. A+ service, quality, cleanliness, and delicious pupusas. Small business on Hampden Frontage rd, recommend you try them out. Wow this was such a delicious lunch! I was helping one of our communities on this end of town and to my delight a mere four minutes from Mile High Pupusas. We ordered carry out and I opted for two zucchini and cheese. My colleague went with bean and cheese. The cheese was ooey gooey and the masa was really nicely flavored. The cabbage slaw and tomato sauce were also among the best I've had. Customer service was fast and friendly and I already want to go back. read more

I loved everything about Mile High Pupusas! The service was friendly and the food was amazing. You can leave here feeling very full for under $10. Everything is made to order and they don't just have pupusas - they have smothered fries, breakfast burritos, tacos, and other yummy options. I had three pupusas. One was carne asada, the second was mushroom, beans, and cheese, and the third was ham, pineapple, and cheese. They were all very tasty. I will definitely be back. Ordered asada nachos and they were a HUGE disappointment!! Not only did they take a very long time for every being poured out of a can. Seems like they pinched but a bit ofcarne asada and drizzled a tiny bit on the plate. Customer service was also poor!! Plate of asada nachos cost about $11. For the plate I received it should coat about $6-7. So over priced!! read more

Always looking to support the local small businesses. Never had pupusas so thought I'd give them a go. Josh gave me some guidance and tried 2 - They were excellent! They make their own in house slaw and I have to say I really like slaw but I'm very picky. They need to jar this stuff... best ever! Go here and try the Salvadoran flavor of pupusas, you'll be glad you did! read more

You can taste the quality and freshness of the ingredients. We've only tried pupusas takeout and they've been excellent every time. I especially love the ayote and the chicharron, but we've tried all different kinds and they're all delicious. The sauce and coleslaw condiments that come with the pupusas are always fresh and tasty. It's a delicious and reasonably priced option for takeout. We highly recommend and will definitely keep coming back. read more

I'm very pleased! Not only was the food absolutely delicious, but they quickly remedied a delivery order mix up. They accidentally gave us a jalapeño papusa instead of jalapeño poppers and immediately delivered the jalapeño poppers. I wouldn't normally call for the replacement but I was really craving them and the owner was ON IT! Thanks guys. You're making magic happen! read more

Uhhhhh was closed on a saturday right at lunch hours....ok. I guess they just shutdown when there is a car show in the parking lot, and say fck some customers...wanted to give them a try but what is that nonsense? I wont be going back who closes at lunch time? Guess the car show was more important than customers, and running a business. Will not ever be giving it a try now..... read more

My wife and I ordered takeout from this place sight unseen, and I gotta tell ya it was a win for the team! We ordered a few different pupusas and they were all really good. This place has more bang for your buck--the food is very filling and relatively inexpensive. We really want to go back and try more of their menu soon. This cozy little restaurant is amazing! The pupusas are DELICIOUS and very well priced; definitely some of the best I've had here in Colorado. They were also a lot bigger than I was anticipating! Their street tacos are heavenly! Chicken option was all chicken breast super juicy grilled to perfection five tacos on a plate another two tacos missing because my husband and I devoured it. This plate came we asked it with the guacamole option instead of fresh avocado. The carne asada was just FULL of flavor and the fresh avocado slices with green tomatillo salsa SLAPPED.. the tortillas are super soft and tears from how fresh the flour tortillas were!! Although I mainly got it for tomorrow morning/lunch I had a hard time quit eating because of its deliciousness. Extremely welcoming staff (I even met the owner, Alex as he was dining with his family), quality food and value pricing, this place checks out for the hidden gem restaurant that's not necessarily super fancy but it's worth every penny and time. We ordered margaritas, and they were delicious and clearly made with fresh ingredients. I had the jalapeño margarita, and it definitely had a kick--in a good way. Just a heads-up for anyone who isn't great with spice. The food overall was good, and our waiter was super friendly, attentive, and helpful despite how busy it was. The restaurant overall was clean, inviting, but a little loud. I'm not too old so it didn't bother me, but just a note. Service was amazing and had no complaints there.
