Saffron rice platter with grilled chicken, potatoes, veggies, chick peas, garlic sauce, and chutney, with mango juice

My first time here - customer service is amazing! I was greeted with a sample as soon as I arrived, both employees working helped me pick everything I wanted, they even sampled the juices for me so I could choose :) The gentleman working was very kind, he let me know the entire menu is halal, and made sure I didn't leave without being satisfied with everything I ordered, I will definitely be coming back here again. P.S. food is amazing as well!

Cool find in the food court. I had chicken over Rice with potatoes and grilled vegetables. Everything was delicious. My wife had the fried tilapia and enjoyed it.

A free sample gets me every time. This time, it was as we were passing through the food court in Tysons and someone at Marhaba asked if we wanted to try the Shawarma chicken. It was good. Tasty with just a little bit of heat. Next thing you know we were adding all sorts of veggies to our chicken shawarma bowl and enjoying it. There are many, many options to add to the bowls from individual veggies such as corn, legumes such as chickpeas, starches such as potatoes and two kinds of rice and salads, such as tabbalouh and the list goes on. We piled on just about everything and it all went together really well. The service at Marhaba was very friendly and helpful. There is plenty of room in the food court to sit and eat. Marhaba is definitely a place we would choose again if hunger strikes as we shop.

I don't usually leave reviews for mall spots, but I figure I may as well bite. I was at Tysons mall earlier this week attending an event, and stopped by food court at Tysons near the AMC theater. Needless to say, there were no good options to be had. There was a 5 Guys, but why do I wanna eat that all the time. I decide to support local business, so I eventually rolled the dice with Marhaba. Server or guy at the counter was nice to me and he gave me a little of everything (mixed bowl) with chickpeas and also I opted for the Lamb Mandy, which was the oversized lamb piece, second from the right. Turns out not so a good idea. I will rate up one star, as service was good and server was friendly. He asked if it was to go, then paused in spooning the sauce and actually provided a separate cup just for that. So that deserves praise and thanks. Unfortunately, the food as a whole was largely a debacle, and to be fair it is unlikely to be salvageable no matter the effort made. Lamb sauce was largely just liquid fat. Lamb chunk was covered in a thin wrapper of fat which was very hard to take out. I tried to eat only the inside, healthy dark-brown lamb pieces which were not fat. But it was hard to separate it, and after a day the sauce was thrown out as was not worth warming it up. Overall, for the 20$ I spent here, I got back maybe a quarter of what it was worth. Because I threw out all the fat, and most of the lamb with it. The bowl was passable and it was just not terrible. It was ok. Supporting local business is a passion of mine, but in this case it was a bust. Again, I want to be gracious and so I rate up in this review. I likely won't be back here, however.

I have eaten here a couple times, and for a food court restaurant this stands out for having better than food court food. Today I had the chicken wings, which is one of the best wings I have ever had. Very extra crispy, flavorful, very good. But beyond the wings, try out their lamb, fish and other dishes for not so food court food.

Upon coming to the food court, I was deciding what to get and just randomly chose this place. The food, wow, was sooooo good. I got two of the chickens and they were bursting with flavor once I took a bite. The rice was well cooked and all of the other add ins had so much flavor too. The service was great as well. The lady who had helped me was really kind and nice. Would totally revisit this place!

Delicious chicken shawarma and the mango juice is EVERYTHANG! Can't wait to return! I will be back soon!!!!!

Yummmmm. I can't believe this is in a mall food court. I can see this making the most decadent spread for a party. Holy cow it's delicious. Chicken Schwarma w allll the sides so I can try them all. Party in my mouth.

Half and half white rice and yellow rice, shawarma, okra, corn, veggies, side of garlic sauce, and mango drink with ice.

It's inside Tyson's Corner Mall. I was walking around and they gave me a free sample of their shawarma, so they were so sweet. I looked around the food court for something to eat. At first, I was craving Korean fried chicken, but then I also like to try new food and new restaurants. I gave it a try and it was delicious and so fresh. I would eat it again!

This place was super yummy! Great chicken shawarma! I just wish the fries came with a white sauce or something to dip it with.

The mezze sampler offered a fantastic variety of fresh flavors, the watermelon and feta appetizer was refreshing and unique, and the cocktails were both creative and expertly crafted. Even the warm pita served with the dips was fresh and delicious. The atmosphere was inviting, upscale without feeling pretentious, and perfect for a relaxing meal. The service was attentive, friendly, and helped make the evening even more enjoyable. The only negative was that the restaurant didn't carry cash on hand to make change when people wanted change for a cash tip.

I had the thyme cocktail, and it was tasty, but I'm a little bit sad I didn't get the pretty beehive pinned to it that I saw here pictured on Yelp. Our server was amazing and really friendly and patient with us when one person in our group went to the wrong restaurant in Bethesda! I had the mushrooms with goat cheese, which was incredible. Then the octopus, which is the best I've had in a very long time. Friends had the scallops which were beautiful, and the Bronzino, which was pretty and tasty. We ended with the pistachio soufflé which they warned us would take 15 minutes, but it arrived quickly and was completely worth the wait. Molten in the center and decadent. We also had a chocolate tart, pretty and somehow light. Loved it and will return probably to the Bethesda and DC destinations next time

We used Maman Joon in McLean, VA for catering for our wedding, and I honestly cannot say enough…read morepositive things about our experience. We ordered Joojeh Kabob, Koobideh, and Lamb Shank. There are several reasons why I would choose this restaurant again for my wedding: 1. Food quality was amazing. Both our Iranian and American guests raved about the food, saying it was the best food they have had at a wedding. The meat was tender and juicy and the rice was delicious without being oily, which is very hard to do. Our guests went for seconds and thirds and majority of the food was finished even though we ordered extra! Even my mom, who is a very harsh judge of Persian food, loved it. 2. Service was excellent. Wedding planning is a really stressful process, so choosing a caterer is really important. Coordination with Mr. Sanaei was very smooth. He gave us his personal phone number and texted us everything we needed within hours (including COI and business license). The business is very organized. The delivery was on-time, and all the food arrived well-packed. 3. Most importantly, the staff at the actual restaurant is just really kind. I initially just went for a meal and after being treated with such kindness, I decided to use them for catering. Honestly, I get a feeling that the staff are more like my cousins. The ability to run an efficient and organized business, while still giving us a homy/comforting feeling is what makes this Maman Joon so special! 4. Price is great! I got a quote from several Persian restaurants in the DMV area (and even other Maman Joon branches) and this was lower for the exact same meals. Overall, I highly recommend Maman Joon at McLean as both a restaurant and catering!

Turkish restaurant with both fantastic food and service that has been in operation for over 40…read moreyears! Have a really nice outdoor patio and a stylish and slightly upscale interior. I came here with my fiance for dinner on a Friday night. The clientele was on the older side. Our meal started off with complimentary pita. It was not the most fresh, and it little served with a side of butter (which we found somewhat odd) so we were unsure of how the rest of the meal would be, but we were very pleasantly surprised. We got the appetizer sampler platter for 2 and their specialty, the Doner Kabab (which they only sell on certain days of the week). The appetizer sampler platter included a TON of food for the $25 price tag, and we were honestly full after just that, but the Doner Kabab that came out next was so good that we ended up eating all of it as well. Next time we come back we want to try their "desert sampler platter"!

Came back for lunch yesterday with a couple of friends. I had the Musakka a la Turk, one friend…read morehad the Vegetable Musakka and the other had the Turkish Omelet. The Musakka dishes are served with a side of rice pilaf and the Omelete with a side of fries. Bottom line - all three of us found the entrees to be bland. In fairness, I have only had Greek Musakka before, but I expected more seasoning and flavor, and my friend (the vegetarian) noted that they didn't get a hint of Bechamel - only mozzarella. I tend to agree the entree was heavy on the mozzarella and light on other flavors. We agreed that the rice was very good, both in texture and mild flavor. The french fries also were very good. The service here continues to be beyond excellent. Really good service. If I could give 3.5 as a score, I would, because the service was exceptional. But this is the second time I was here and both times found the entree to be bland. Maybe that's how Turkish food is - if so, please let me know, but I doubt it. The restaurant, which is very attractive and comfortable inside, has been around for 45 years and has an average Yelp score of 4.2. So obviously, a lot of people like it. I just call it like I see it.
