Their Carry Out is consistently a disaster with wrong orders, forgetting to make items, and clueless employees. Their order tracking system is a waste of time. Order, and hope your order is done when you want it and/or need it and if you get it delivered, hope it's fresh. We recently tried the new Marcos Pizza on Mary Ann Cleveland in the shopping center next to Safeway. The pizza is really good and the prices are excellent - many good specials - check their website. We bought a medium specialty pizza at 30% off - thumbs up. It was very good - we ordered it for pickup. Just finished when we arrived - nice and hot. This location is close to our house so it can still be hot when we arrive back home. Prices are fairly good - not as good as some of the other "pick up/take home pizza" companies, but the pizza is better. You get what you pay for ! read more

We are new to the Vail area and were really craving pizza. We thought we would support local so we tried Marcos for the first time. We had a coupon that came in a flier for 20% off an on line order. So we placed the order and the pizza was ready in about 20-25 min. That was great! the website didn't take the coupon discount, but they did take it off at the time of pick up. Hubby got the pizza home within 3 minutes, opened it and said...YUK! Bad for the following reasons: 1- sausage looked like little turds and lacked flavor. Almost tasted precooked. 2- mushrooms were canned 3- sauce was too sweet and had no flavor...needed some garlic and oregano perhaps 4- the edge of the crust was bigger than a breadstick 5- the pizza was barely warm and it was soggy 6- hardly any cheese We had to warm the pizza in a pan and add more cheese to even try and eat it. The bottom line is we threw it away! It was not salvageable. Hubby told me to PLEASE go back to making my own! They forgot to give us an item we paid for. And it happens every single time! We won't be going back! I called to let them know so we could get a refund because we live out of the delivery range and Troy (the so called manager) laughed and was like I guess we can get you a refund then when I was in the middle of talking he hung up. I 4.3 miles away I made an order at 3:20 for cheese pizza wings and salad it is own 5:03 no sign on them and online tracking still says "prep". Disappointed. I have been ordering from Marco's since they opened and was very impressed until now. The last few times I've gotten pizza it has had little cheese and limited toppings to the center leaving the crust very dry. I had hoped last time this was just an off night so than ordered meatball subs. Never again extremely dry. Tonight again very dry pizza with little cheese and little toppings and it was a specialty pizza. Marco's Pizza in Vail We placed an order for pizza and breadsticks via the Marco's app at 7:58pm tonight. Got a call from a Marco's employee at 8:03pm letting me know that they had to cancel my order and will refund me because they had to save the remaining pizza dough for tomorrow's openers. I asked if I can change my order to accommodate whatever size dough they had, and then the employee handed off the phone to the manager. I told him I can edit my order based on dough size that they have and that we really want pizza! He explained that they are running short on dough and have to save what's left for tomorrow when they first open. I told him that's not fair since I ordered tonight and already paid for my order. I asked him why he is saving dough for potential future orders when I am a customer NOW?! He said that they "do not prioritize customers," but that is clearly what they are doing by saving dough for "tomorrow's openers." Besides not fulfilling current orders, they are saving old dough for the next day!!! They should fill orders tonight, and not open tomorrow until their new fresh dough comes in!!!! Saw a lot of positive posts on Facebook on Marco's and decided to give it a shot. We ordered 2 medium one topping pizzas for $6.99 each, a Diet Pepsi, and brownies. They don't deliver out to Corona so my husband went to pick it up. It took about 35 mins to make our pizzas and at first the price didn't match what we had on the app, but after showing them they fixed it. My husband and I both ordered pepperoni pizzas but I got thin crust and he got thick with garlic sauce crust. We both liked our pizzas and thought they were good sizes. I shared with my son and still have a lot leftover for lunch tomorrow. I liked the sauce and the amount they used as well. I didn't order extra sauce, but my pizza was perfectly saucy like I like it. My husband liked the crust flavor too. As for the brownie, it's okay but I wouldn't order it again, especially since it was $5.99. It is a small pain so it's more than enough for my family, but it wasn't anything amazing. Overall, we will be back and our happy to have something different from Papa Johns and Pizza Hut. Now if they could deliver out in Corona I would be even happier! read more

We tried to order online, but the coupon received in an email would not populate and we received an error message that it had already been used, but it had not. So we called to speak to someone. The phone operator said she would manually give us the discount. She stated that the coupons don't always work right on the on line order system. We proceeded to tell her what we had ordered on line. First issue - we read the title of the medium pizza as on our screen. She assumed "lite" was for the sauce not for the thinner pizza crust as it is called on their site. If she had not said something about lite sauce, we would have received a lite crust pizza. Learn your product names so there isn't any confusion. Second issue - Iwanted a pizza bowl. Told her what I wanted in the bowl- mushrooms, green pepper, Italian sausage and chicken, no onions. The price was more than the online price. She added chicken, but did not take off the pepperoni. She did not listen to what I said I wanted in the bowl. We figured that out only by discussing that I had taken off pepperoni on the online order and added chicken. The order arrived 35 minutes later and the bowl was loaded with onions which I cannot eat. I called back and told the phone operator that the bowl had onions and I ordered it without. She found our order and said that there was no mention of no onions. My husband had been right next to me when I placed the order and heard me specify no onions. No apology, no offer to make it right. Just that it wasn't on her order slip. First rule of business is the customer is always right. Get a manager if there is a problem. My bowl was cold by the time picked out all the little pieces of onion. We will not be placing another order again! read more

Aside from the long wait time to make it worse, they sprinkled cinnamon sugar all over my pizza crust.... you could imagine how annoying that is. The worst experience by far. read more

Do not ever order from this Marcos location!!!!! I placed an at 520pm for 3 pizzas breadsticks and soda. I opted for delivery since it was homecoming for my 2 girls. I was told my order would be delivered in 30-45 minutes. At 628pm after no pizza was delivered to my house I called the store. The employee asked for my order number and I was like what order number you never gave me one when I ordered! After saying what my order was he was like "ohhh your pizza is right here under the warmer". My next question was okay how long is it going to take you to deliver it? "Ohh it's going to be an hour our all drivers are out right now". What!!!! So when I questioned why I was not told when I placed the order it would be a 2 hour wait for delivery, the response I got well at the time you placed the order it was only a 30-45 minute wait for delivery. Okay then why don't I have my pizza then? Ummm we don't have any drivers to deliver it right now. No care or concern that delivery was going to be late. Not a phone call saying sorry we are running behind nothing. I understand things happen it why I waited for over an hour from placing my order to call. It was amazing though after I called my pizza was delivered within 20 minutes, about the time it takes to drive from Marcos to my house. I will never order from this location again. A simple I'm sorry we messed and we are getting your pizza to you right now and I wouldn't be writing this review, but the manager couldn't even say that. read more
