My first order last night. Ordering online was easy. I wanted salad for 4 people. Wasn't sure if the salads were individual size or family size. I ordered 3. They easily serve 2 people each. I have one for tonight! The pizzas were very good! Easy to make at home. My only tiny issue was I ordered curbside pickup. Waited a while, then realized I needed to call to let them know I was there. I ordered online for a curbside pickup. Upon arriving at the store I was surprised to NOT find the phone number on the window where it is on virtually EVERY PAPA MURPHY'S ON THE PLANET. I tried finding the number on my phone with no luck. So I enter the store (not easy for me since I'm disabled) . I approached the register and ask the young man to bring my pizza out to my car. That's when the person I assumed to be a manager approached me and began yelling at me that "it's YOUR responsibility to call us when you arrive for curbside pickup". So I asked him why the store phone number wasn't on the window along with the store hours. That's when he says "because you (meaning me) didn't pay to have it put there". That's when I told him to go F yourself !! This MORON then tells me that he's going to refund my order. There is no chance in HELL I will ever go to this store again. If I could have left a no star review I would have. I hope the store burns to the ground ...with the idiot manager inside !! read more

We have bought Papa Murphy's pizzas for decades. Several weeks ago I bought a pizza from them and the crust was crepe paper thin. You can't get the bottom of it brown without burning the edges. We also couldn't lift a piece without it collapsing. I specifically ordered regular crust both times. I can't even imagine what a thin crust looks like, but suspect they use this one for both now. I thought it was a fluke so bought another one several days ago. It's no fluke! This one was worse than the first one. Almost no pizza crust with a very different taste and texture. Also less toppings than before. Probably because the crust is so thin, it can't hold the toppings. It appears Papa Murphy is out to make more profits and is ruining what use to be a good pizza. When I complained to their corporate office, I received a 30% off coupon and an apology and no explanation as to their poor quality. No thanks! I'm done with them! Have been going to this location since we moved to Green Valley almos 10 years ago. First real problem I have had. Maybe new manager or franchisee? Anyway, I ordered our usual Chicken, Bacon, Artichoke online. My mistake was doing it as a build your own pizza and not just selecting that exact pizza from their standard pre-built selections on the app (they still have to build the pizza fresh). How was I to know??? Paid almost $16 for a large, Thin crust pizza including discount for $3 online coupon. When I arrived, there was a banner in the window for my exact pizza for $11.99. I walked in and asked if I could get my pizza for that $11.99 price. The young man working the counter (employee) went to the back and got the manager (I assume he was the manager....not really sure as he came to the front counter and just looked at me...not a word??? No introduction or question about how he could help me....I assumed the employee would have told him what I wanted). After an awkward pause, the employee told this superior what I needed. Then I re explained that I was just asking for a price adjustment to advertised price. The supervisor proceeds to mumble something about that promotion was supposed to be ending but he was not sure when????? Banner is on your window right now. Then supervisor starts looking up some things on his phone. After a couple minutes he explains that I did not order the pizza correctly on the website....I needed to click on the standard Chicken Bacon artichoke and select the $11.99 promo price......how was I to know???? This is where it gets odd, almost insulting. He then tells me there is nothing he can do because I ordered it online!!!! How about refund my purchase price to my credit card and let me re purchase at the $11.99 price? How about a free item worth the price difference?? There is always something that can be done to show some good will. Finally, when it was clear I was not going to get anywhere, I said no problem, I'll just take my pizza. The employee handed me the pizza (see picture). First thing I said was,are there artichokes on there? He says there were and I struggled to find any. I was shocked at how anemic this pizza looked. Not only were there barely any artichokes, the other 2 toppings were extremely stingy. Remember this is a pizza I order from Papa Murphy's whenever we get Papa Murphy's Pizza. I know, I should have immediately asked them to make a new pizza, or add more toppings, but at that point I just wanted to leave with my pizza. Hopefully Duval Mine Store in Green Valley AZ Franchisee will read this and do a little customer service review with this supervisor/manager. When great service is given it should be acknowledged. Im visiting from San Diego in hottest weather ive ever been in. I was made to feel very welcomed and with terrific enthusiasm for their pizza! I believe her name was "Mindy" who I believe manages more than one Papa Murphys. Hit and miss. They are skimpy on sauce and toppings some of the time; inconsistent. We go because it's easy on the way home. This time, our "pan" pizza was simply a regular crust dropped in a pan. Shawna, the manager, who looked right at me when I requested to speak to the manager and told me she was too busy to speak to me, this message is for you. Had you handled this situation differently you would not be reading this bad review on Yelp! The person making my pizza left his station (while in the middle of making my pizza) to answer the phone, take a phone order and who knows what else. In the meantime someone else takes over my pizza but my eyes are on this kid because I noticed he was still wearing his gloves. I kept watching and thought well surely he will change the gloves before returning to the pizza! NOPE!! At that point I asked for the manager who looked at me and told the lady making the request that she was too busy to speak to me and could I leave my name and number. I said no you can tell your line staff to change their gloves when they leave the line and return to making people's food!! I was visiting my brother in green valley. We just wanted something uncomplicated for dinner so we both said, 'Pizza!' Lucky for me, he recommended we get papa murphy's. take n bake pizza is a great idea. We quickly got a pizza with everything we wanted and it wasn't too expensive ... they also have some premade salads. After 15 mins in the oven, the pizza was hot and absolutely delic. I loved the combination of cheeses, the crust was nice and think (yet not hard to chew), and the toppings had awesome freshness and flavor. This has been a favorite for years but lately it has gone downhill. Tonight was their big Tuesday featuring any large pizza for $11. But they were out of tomatoes, out of parm cheese, and out of regular crust dough . So you could only get a large in thin crust. At 6:25 pm. And they had only one employee making pizzas. Usually there are three or four. So it was a long wait. They said their problems stemmed from the rush of people. But how do they handle a big rush with one person on the line? We have ordered their pizza several times in the past. April 14th was the first time in a month. NO ONE behind the counter or in the back were wearing a mask. Only the employees making the pizzas were wearing gloves. The customers were the only ones wearing mask. The lack of masks is against State and Federal guidelines for the Coronavirus. Let a alone it's a great disservice to the young employees. The owner/management must protect it's employees and customers as best possible from the infectious Coronavirus. I'm reviewing this as a "fast food" type of option, not to be compared with a "gourmet" or even "sit down" pizzeria. Yes, you can pay $15 for a basic pie and take it home to bake (you can also buy just the dough) from Two Girls', but price is part of the "fast food" allure. At the price of store bought frozen pizza, freshness of homemade and the convenience of take-out this is a winner. For about $10 my family can enjoy the weekly special (we have enjoyed all the specials so far so we are always game for whatever they offer) and a "cheesy bread". Easily the best pizza in Green Valley/Sahuarita and the second best in Tucson (behind only Scordato's). Thin crust is the only true pizza so that is the way to order. Be sure to start the pizza at room temperature and finish cooking directly on the rack to get a crisp crust. All their toppings (that I've tried) are excellent with a nice tomato sauce and great, stringy cheese. We always get ours fresh and cook the same day but reports are that freezing/thawing doesn't significantly diminish the flavor. read more

As I was walking to the bench to wait for my pizza, the host came from behind the prep line with an already made wrapped pizza which he claimed was from a canceled order. I hesitated, but the host assured me it was fresh. I should have insisted on a pizza made as I waited. On the way home I thought, who would order and then cancel a pizza at 11:32 in the morning? It seems more likely that Papa Murphy's had an extra pizza from the night before and made up a story about a cancellation. If it was from the previous day it should be marked and priced as day old. read more
