Most Papa John's restaurants are great. The pizza is delicious and the service is usually right on time. Unfortunately this location is different. The service is always slow and the estimate is always wrong. They usually try to overcharge customers. Also they don't seem to be too concerned about their employees hygiene or appearance. I doubt that many people would trust the employees to rake their orders much less prepare their food if they saw the process in person. Love the pizza hate this location. That's just my opinion. Order was supposed to be ready 7:20-7:30. When I showed up at 7:25 order was not ready. I double checked the app and it said the order had already been picked up...it had not. Was handed the order at 7:35. 5 minutes late isn't terrible, but the app saying the order had supposedly already been picked up is ridiculous. read more

The people who think it's OK to talk to customers crazy after saying you hung up 4 times to redeem a offer for there previous mistake.calling a store and talking to people in India from them to have to transfer your call to the store and the store hangs up 4 times ...45 min later the employee yelling just press 5 then just press 5 saying I know where you live as if it's some threat but still doesn't fix the fact I wouldn't even be trying to redeem this pizza. Delivery driver did not deliver to the correct address. I watched the app, said it was delivered. But not to my house as I didn't have it. Called Papa John's, and the driver told him I didn't think she was home so I left it. I started walking around, I live in the Villas, in an end unit. He leaves it on a wall far away, not my house at all. I swear, people are asleep. No phone call, nothing. My pizza is cold and I'm starving and will eat it anyways. And I won't be ordering from here again. This is my first time. At the very least they should refund the delivery fee and tip. Service in America lady's and gents! Substandard. If I could put zero stars I would. This is not my first time ordering here. First time there was a dead moth in the box. That should have been my first clue to never order here again but the Manager was nice enough to comp the pizza. I've worked in the restaurant business so I know these things can happen. Anywho, now I've order for Halloween and waited over an HOUR for my pizzas... they told me wait 15 minutes... so I went home, waited 30 because I figured I didn't believe it'd be 15 when the place was packed. Came back and they continued telling me 15 minutes. Not a great system to take unlimited orders and overwhelm yourself with orders you can't fulfill. If I could give a zero I would. I ordered a pizza at 6:28pm and it said my pizza should take 29-39minutes. It took them a whole hours and when I checked the tracker it said the driver was 28 minutes away when I literally live 5 minutes away from this place. I ended up canceling the order because it's ridiculous to wait a whole hour when I was given an ETA or 29-39minutes. Sure sometimes they call and say it'll be later then the estimated time but it kinda looks like people just can't handle the fact that a pizza place, a dang good one gets busy. At 10am I placed an order for delivery to happen at 7:15pm. It was at $75 order. At 7:30pm I gave them a call to make sure they had my order since it hadn't arrived yet, and to see where it was. The person took my name and said it was in the car on the way, she said they were really busy but my order was done. 30 minutes later I called back and another person answered and said the pizzas weren't made and it was going to be another hour and a half because they were busy. I mentioned that I had placed my order at 10am and he said everyone else did too! Hmmm? Yea, I said I wanted to cancel my order and get a refund. I accidently called Papa John's and ordered a pizza instead of Papa Murphy's. When I went to pick it up I thought it odd that they had no record of my order. Well the guy from Papa John's just called me. When I realized and explained the mixup and apologized profusely he said, "Well thanks for wasting money." SERIOUSLY?!?! I APOLOGIZE AND HE GETS RUDE? This evening we ordered a pizza for delivery. They told us it would be 44-60minutes. After an hour and 25 minutes we finally called and ask them where our pizza was. They took down the wrong address mixing up two of the numbers in our address. After asking them how long it would take to then get our pizza they said it would be an additional hour. Initially the shift manager refused to compensate us for the mishap. But then the next day the manager of the store apologize profusely and compensated us with some meals. I am new to the area and have ordered from this location A LOT I've rather last 3-4 weeks. They average about a 10% accuracy rate. Either the cut is wrong, ingredients are clumped with some pieces nearly bare, they don't always include extra ingredients when ordered and charged for, and sometimes all the above. The delivery drivers are nice and the timing is good. I just wish they could learn to execute their product correctly. read more

Not a huge fan of Papa John's Pizza. To me the dough has no flavor. I love a yeasty dough and they just don't have that here. Also nothing is homemade...all processed and sent to the location ready to go. So on the fly its ok but I have other pizza places I go to that I like much more. read more

We moved to Sahuarita Az. October 2017 From Seattle Wa. Papa johns was the best pizza...... well papa Murphys is darn good too. My wife and I were tired and a wee bit lazy around 9:30 at night we call for a delivery I understand that it was closing time, however they were. It closed. We ordered a thin 2 topping pizza pepperoni and sausage, we had the veggies to add to it. I was so disappointed. I work retail and customer service. I was embarrassed to call the Manager and tell him my issue.. it WASlate the Pizza arrived in a soggy crust with no red sauce no cheese I couldn't it was not edible. So the manager gave me a what's called quality refund so I waited a couple of weeks and I just re-ordered last night something simple I thought maybe it was the crust I ordered thin. So this time I asked what the man on the phone would suggest? He said hand tossed, ok I went with that the pizza was Horrible half of it was crust and still the same issue with the sauce and cheese. My dogs are enjoying it a little bit at a time. I have never been so disappointed in a place of business twice in a row. If your don't believe me try it out for yourself. I honestly hate the fact that I even need to write one of these negative reviews. I just came off of an 11 hour shift and walk in after picking up some medication in my work clothes. I walked into the store and was greeted and I told them I had a pickup under my name. The gentleman couldn't see my order so I asked if it was under my pregnant wife's name. He stated my order has been marked completed and as he's telling me that another customer walks in with some boxes where I could clearly see my name on the sticker that gets attached to the boxes. The customer nonchalantly says they think they got the wrong pizzas but they "ate" some. No apology from the beginning of all of this. The gentleman just says he will remake the order. I didn't want anything free at this point because mistakes happen but a gesture of some sort, or present me with a solution to where it doesn't happen again. I wait for another 15-20 minutes while the order is being remade and I'm waiting to see if they will come out and talk to me about the mix-up and offer a sincere apology. A female comes out with two boxes and I'm not sure if it was insincere or she just plainly didn't know how to handle adversity but I didn't feel warm and fuzzy inside. There was an obvious disregard for my time, your company's reputation from a customer service standpoint, or any future business I may or may not do with your franchise. I'm 33 years old, but the attention to detail that your younger crew lacked was nauseating to say the least and their incessant laughter and joking around was even worse. You may take this down as a one-off scenario and I probably won't even receive the courtesy of a call from someone of authority but I do hope you take this as a learning experience. I work in customer service so I understand what proper service means and how it is properly executed. Today was definitely not a good look. read more

When I did pick pizza up, the girl actually showed me each pizza for my approval. All looked great. Second review - Never disappointed with the pizza from this Papa John location; recently ordered a $12 five topping special with spicy sausage, pepperoni, black olives, green peppers and extra cheese - toppings very plentiful and pizza cooked to perfection. Also ordered the new cinnamon bun dessert; WARNING; you might want to eat that entire dessert in one sitting; very moist, ladden with cinnamon sugar goodness; and my delivery guy 'Tony'; so very respectful and engaging; always has a smile on his face when I open the door. We ordered our first (and last) pizza last night from this sincere, hard-working, courteous team at the Green Valley store. Sadly, though, it was the worst pizza I have ever eaten in my life. Specifically, on our meat-lover's pizza, it had chunks of fat that were twice the size of any sausage bits; and the individual elements - pepperoni sausage, ham, simply tasted bad. The ingredients were poor. The wonderfully professional and apologetic manager offered to replace the pizza this morning when I called to complain, but I would not trust another offering from this company. This is all especially sad during these tough times and even more sad when I think about the dozens and dozens of pizzas I used to happily order from Papa John's in my previous state, a couple of times a year, when we used to host the area's high school "STEM" competitions. I look forward to this outlet / company improving and, perhaps better experiences reported by my neighbors at some future date. read more

Other than being round, made of dough, and having some base and toppings (which were disappointing) , this pie did not anywhere resemble a pizza. The pizza was characterized by a white bread for crust, thin tomato sauce with a tabasco aftertaste, anemic amount of cheese and toppings that did not have any real taste. I have been a regular customer for years. I was especially excited that one opened close enough to deliver. Today was very disappointed. I was offered a deal on the phone when I placed my order. They made a bunch of extras and were getting rid of pepperoni and Canadian bacon pizzas for $5. I ordered 3 pizzas. Gave my info. Then after an hour. No pizza. I called to ask and was told oh. the pizza is still here. at the store. Then we arranged it and it was going to be here in 20. They came delivered quickly after that which is cool. The girl was nice and very kind. I wasn't even upset. Then when I was getting my order, it wasn't even right. She delivered 2. 2 pizzas!!. Then she apologized said she could go back(I felt bad but I needed another pizza) and I just asked if there was any way to get the other pizza I ordered. She said yes. She left comes back 5 min later and said her manager said I have to pay for it. Which I was fine with whatever. I just need the pizza I'll pay cash. Then I got to thinking. I wasn't given a total so I called to double check. I originally had a $17 order(which is a screaming deal I know). Anyway. The manager said she couldn't honor the original price. So I had to pay full price. Even though they 1) were over an hour late in delivery 2) delivered the wrong order. I have to say I'm very disappointed in the way this was handled. I'm a loyal customer. I'm never rude. I don't complain this was my first complaint with papa johns ever and the manager-jonnie(spelling) didn't care at all. Visited this Papa Johns on Friday for pick up and the service was awful. What should have been a 20 minute wait turned into a 45 minute wait. The place was super busy, but they had enough workers, what they did not have was a strong supervisor overseeing and coordinating customer service! On top of that, I witnessed several customers return with their orders. One customer went as far as leaving his pizza behind and taking a picture of the manager on duty, presumably to send it as a complaint. The manager did not even offer to fix the mistake and to take care of the customer! read more
