a box of meatballs and a pizza
David K.

On a laid-back Friday (April 7th) I picked up a double bacon cheddar pizza and some meatballs. I was not sure really what to expect as this was my first time at Papa Murphy's. Both were very good and I would order their food again.

Regular crust Papa John's pizza that we had to roll up as the crust was so thin it was like crepe paper.

We have bought Papa Murphy's pizzas for decades. Several weeks ago I bought a pizza from them and the crust was crepe paper thin. You can't get the bottom of it brown without burning the edges. We also couldn't lift a piece without it collapsing. I specifically ordered regular crust both times. I can't even imagine what a thin crust looks like, but suspect they use this one for both now. I thought it was a fluke so bought another one several days ago. It's no fluke! This one was worse than the first one. Almost no pizza crust with a very different taste and texture. Also less toppings than before. Probably because the crust is so thin, it can't hold the toppings. It appears Papa Murphy is out to make more profits and is ruining what use to be a good pizza. When I complained to their corporate office, I received a 30% off coupon and an apology and no explanation as to their poor quality. No thanks! I'm done with them! This particular store is located in Sahuarita Arizona.

Chicken, Bacon Artichoke Thin Crust Pizza.

Have been going to this location since we moved to Green Valley almos 10 years ago. First real problem I have had. Maybe new manager or franchisee? Anyway, I ordered our usual Chicken, Bacon, Artichoke online. My mistake was doing it as a build your own pizza and not just selecting that exact pizza from their standard pre-built selections on the app (they still have to build the pizza fresh). How was I to know??? Paid almost $16 for a large, Thin crust pizza including discount for $3 online coupon. When I arrived, there was a banner in the window for my exact pizza for $11.99. I walked in and asked if I could get my pizza for that $11.99 price. The young man working the counter (employee) went to the back and got the manager (I assume he was the manager....not really sure as he came to the front counter and just looked at me...not a word??? No introduction or question about how he could help me....I assumed the employee would have told him what I wanted). After an awkward pause, the employee told this superior what I needed. Then I re explained that I was just asking for a price adjustment to advertised price. The supervisor proceeds to mumble something about that promotion was supposed to be ending but he was not sure when????? Banner is on your window right now. Then supervisor starts looking up some things on his phone. After a couple minutes he explains that I did not order the pizza correctly on the website....I needed to click on the standard Chicken Bacon artichoke and select the $11.99 promo price......how was I to know???? This is where it gets odd, almost insulting. He then tells me there is nothing he can do because I ordered it online!!!! How about refund my purchase price to my credit card and let me re purchase at the $11.99 price? How about a free item worth the price difference?? There is always something that can be done to show some good will. Finally, when it was clear I was not going to get anywhere, I said no problem, I'll just take my pizza. The employee handed me the pizza (see picture). First thing I said was,are there artichokes on there? He says there were and I struggled to find any. I was shocked at how anemic this pizza looked. Not only were there barely any artichokes, the other 2 toppings were extremely stingy. Remember this is a pizza I order from Papa Murphy's whenever we get Papa Murphy's Pizza. I know, I should have immediately asked them to make a new pizza, or add more toppings, but at that point I just wanted to leave with my pizza. Hopefully Duval Mine Store in Green Valley AZ Franchisee will read this and do a little customer service review with this supervisor/manager. If it was the franchisee I was dealing with....shame on you.

At the price of store bought frozen pizza, freshness of homemade and the convenience of take-out this is a winner.

We enjoyed being seated next to a group of prom night kids dressed to the 9's. They too had a great time and not once did we overhear a single swear word uttered by them. Now that "dress codes" are making a comeback to the fine dining establishments we too suited up. It's so much better for all diners after 6. I think Ragazzi's should turn the bar seating area into the room for all of the "After 6" patron's stepping it up. The best food and service in Green Valley!

Fantastic Italian food! I'm definitely not a wild Italian fan as you can tell from my reviews,…read morehowever this classic restaurant checks all the boxes. Had the prosciutto and veal and it was rich and balanced, and one of the best I've had anywhere. Also had the fettuccini with the shrimp and scallops. The scallops and pasta were perfect. I would never have guessed that the seafood would be comparable to the Bay Area. The shrimp were a little undercooked however. The house Cabernet was very good, as were the branded Italian reds. The bread was also very good and the oil was fresh. Service was a little mixed but it was Valentine's so expected. That cuts to the few negative reviews for this restaurant. This is a small town with really one top restaurant. It's going to be busy. Be patient or pick another restaurant.

The best part about this Pizza Hut location by far is their customer service! They go above and…read morebeyond to make sure that each customer is satisfied. I work in a nursing home and occasionally some residents will go out to lunch at Pizza Hut. The staff is always extremely accommodating, with Heather in specific being very helpful. She remembers their orders and is always kind and courteous. As far as the pizza goes, it always exceeds my expectations. I have a pretty complicated order due to dietary restrictions and they have always gotten it right. I would definitely suggest this place to anybody looking for a quick meal in town!

We ordered on 5/22/26, as I confirmed my order, the page said "failed to communicate with store"…read moreSo, we figured the order was not processed, so, I ended up ordering from another local pizza place. THANK GOODNESS I did. All of a sudden about 30 minutes later Pizza Hut shows up at my door. We had ordered Tavern Style with Pineapple, Bacon and 1/2 Mushroom and had rewards for an order free cheese sticks. They need to check their ovens, as our pizza was burnt. Ok, So, if you don't know, tavern pizza is very thin crust. Now, if you have ever had Tavern Pizza from one of the Italian pizza joints in Chicago, you know they are relatively thin (like saltine cracker thin), but this was as thin as a flour tortilla with toppings. It tasted terrible. I mentioned above that the ovens must be running hot because our cheese sticks were quite overdone as well, and anyone who has had cheese sticks here, know they are quite thick. However, ROCK hard. Thankfully the other pizza place came through, because this order went straight in the garbage.
