It's been awhile since my last review... Marco's is still absolutely amazing!!! Today we ordered White Cheszy, All Meat and Cheszy Bread. It was ready in about 20 minutes (as promised). The All Meat is my favorite! Covered in all kinds of meat and tons of cheese!!!!! My little one loves the cheese!

First time trying Marcos Pizza and it was a hit! Very delicious. Service was excellent, except we had a mishap with my drink. We ordered a small ultimate magnifico pizza, 10pcs buffalo wings, and a single small root beer. I said yes to a receipt. We waited inside for our pizza and overheard the lady taking our order that our drink wasn't a 2L, which she charged us for. The receipt on the pizza shows our drink crossed out. We were charged for a 2L and were given the small drink I thought I paid for. I do not appreciate the dishonesty. This situation could've been resolved with no issue. By simply telling us we were charged incorrectly and actually given what we were charged for.

This was supposed to be 1/2 Philly & 1/2 Hawaiian.

It's the right thing to do and update my review. I went back to order again and they did a great job this time. They even called me to double check on my order. Pizza and cheesy bread was excellent.... Hot & fresh! Hands down best tasting pizza compared to all the franchise companies such as Dominoes, Pizza Hut, Little Caesars, Papa John's etc 4 Solid Stars

My go to pizza spot. It's good, every time! Literally, looks like the picture from the ads!

    Triple pineapple pizza

My friend asked if I'd ever tried a triple pineapple pizza with hot honey and crushed red pepper. I hadn't, so we ordered one from Marco's. We immediately added the hot honey and crushed red pepper at home and enjoyed the game.

I don't know why, but I got a pizza covered in oil and grease. It's so much that I couldn't eat my side. It was slimey. I'd suggest the business use flour or cornmeal instead of oil. It was terrible. We also ordered mushrooms and got maybe 2 on each slice it was minimal and seems like they're being cheap with the toppings.

    No seating.

My husband had been raving about this place because he went by himself one day. I finally indulged him to try it out. We got a large specialty with deluxe on my half and meat lovers on his plus some chicken wings and took it home. Btw, You have to take it home because there is no seating. The toppings were plentiful but it also made it soggy and my biggest issue is that the sauce is very bland / sour due to it's pure tomato base. The crust is too thick with too much dough but I also prefer the super thin crust. The wings were also ordinary with no crisp. Prices are comparable to an average pizza place, $22 for a large. It was just All right. There were no mmm's coming out of my mouth. It was so unexciting that I was done after 2 pieces and I love pizza. I can think of at least three other pizza places I'd rather go to.

Awww yisss. Built our own extra large. Haters need not apply ;)

My kid has harassed me, for the last several months, about wanting to try Marco's. I finally obliged and man oh man, I'm so glad I did. Ordering was quick and painless via their website and there are plenty of coupons to choose from. Also, there are no weird fees tacked on (which I am a total fan girl of). I walked in at the 13 minute mark when they said it would be ready and sure enough a gentleman was slicing and boxing it up! The place was bright and clean. The staff were friendly and everyone was wearing masks (if that kind of detail is important to you). They weren't skimpy on the toppings, which were fresh and perfectly baked. The crust was yummy and the sauce hit the spot too. I have zero complaints about the entire experience. Highly recommend.

IS IT REALLY WORTH IT??? I am DIE HARD Marcos Pizza fan. Since discovering their always fresh yumminess back in UT 2018. But today my loyalty was put to the Test!! First of all I'm visiting from Texas, where my neighborhood Marcos is just up the street. But here apparently the closest ones to us are in Rocklin or Folsom n I'm outside the direct delivery area for both here in Citrus Hights. So Door Dash it is because I just don't like Any other pizza and I've been braggin up these guys to my family!! NOT your fault so I won't subtract a star for that. But first off I was shot down by the Rocklin location Because I used door dash (even tho I DO have the loyalty App n have had it for years!) n couldn't use my 20% off coupon!!!! (My awesome Dasher Phyo Han was kind enough to ask about my coupon even and called to tell me) 1 STAR!! Then as I'm STILL bragging about the pizza that's still Hot even; after being charged extra by Door Dash for being out of area so I almost didn't expect it to still be hot (again Awesome Dasher Phyo Han to the rescue with his pizza bag!!) and I open the box to my deluxe pizza and A. it's not even CUT and B. instead of the peppercinis that I asked for it's covered in jalapeño's and NO they are NOT the same. 1 STAR!! Now for the PRICE difference. Had I been able to use my loyalty app even WITHOUT the coupon I would have been able to get my large pepperoni for $15.99 (I paid $29) and my Deluxe using either the 20 or 25% off coupons. I ended up paying with the dasher tip almost $87!!! For two large pizzas!!! Soooooo Was it Really worth it???? Normally I don't care about price but I LOVE my coupons.... On GP. I'm Asian lol I may only save a few dollars but come on guys. I have been a LOYAL customer for YEARS. And I tell EVERYONE about y'all. AND I don't eat pizza often but when I DO I SEEK YALL OUT. But today? At least now I know not to order Marcos when I'm here.... Ugh. ‍

Yuck. The pizza was fair at best and the Italian salad was made with poor quality ingredients. It was not even edible.

The first table I sat at was filthy with grime, and while the second table was slightly better, it still hadn't been properly cleaned. There was sauce and food on the floor. The food itself was awful. The chicken sandwich was nothing like it used to be--it tasted freezer-burnt, and the patty was much thinner than it was 6-12 months ago. The garlic noodles tasted reheated and were equally unappetizing. After one bite of each, I couldn't eat any more. While the service was mediocre, the real issue is how far this restaurant has declined. I won't be returning.

We tried this spot out for the first time this morning after driving by it for years. The Owner's Yelp business description states they "specialize in breakfast", which sounded awesome. Reviews and photos looked so promising. Our experience was nothing like what others have shared though :( The space is nice and spacious, with an old school vibe which we liked, and we were so hopeful upon entering for the first time. Service was polite enough...but felt insincere and disinterested in taking good care of the customer. The one employee who I felt actually cared was the hostess, but the waitstaff seem to just be going through the motions. We shared it was our first time coming and we were excited to treat ourselves to a rare breakfast out. We needed a few extra minutes to study the menu since it was our first visit, but then we got forgotten about. I attempted to catch the waitresses attention numerous times with no success. After waiting about ten minutes longer than was reasonable, I did seek out the hostess's help in tracking down someone who could take our order. She was super apologetic, but of course it wasn't her job as she was busy seating people and handling her own tasks. The biggest disappointment was the food - in looking back at the photos the French toast we ordered looked nothing like the photos - first, when I asked what the difference between the 1/2 and full order was we were told it was 4 slices vs. 6 slices. That definitely seemed to justify the price so we ordered a half order for my young boy and I to share. What came out was shockingly different - it was two tiny slices of bread that looked like the inexpensive sliced grocery store bread. Because it was already small thinly sliced bread before being cooked, it was truly tiny once plated. We were honestly surprised they felt comfortable serving it. Maybe they ran out of their thick large French toast bread? No matter, they certainly shouldn't have served what we received though. It was confusing and embarrassing, IMO. So, we were misinformed that it was a 4 slice portion when it was 2 small thin slices of bread cut in half...that is not 4 slices of French toast. And then the waitress didn't come around our entire meal so I couldn't inquire about it until we were done. I ended up giving the French toast to my boy who ate it all in under 120 seconds, no joke (because there wasn't much to eat) and then he said he was still hungry. I, too, was quite hungry. Other family members agreed that the taste was good, but nothing special, and the servings did not match the high prices. So, the food was tasty enough but the portions were unreasonably small and do not justify the price, the service lacks greatly, and the misinformation was truly disappointing and misleading. When I did politely ask at the end about why she said it was 4 slices vs. 6 slices the waitress backpedaled stating she meant it was 4 halves vs. 6 halves...and then she apologized that we were leaving hungry and offered me a biscuit. ??? Why would I want a biscuit? I just wanted the meal the waitress told me I was ordering. I wanted what some previous customers have shared in their photos here. The French toast in the photos here on Yelp looks legit and exactly what we wanted and expected...again, so odd the kitchen staff felt comfortable plating up the order we received. Zero quality control there. Honestly, it was just a weird and disappointing experience that had us leaving hungry and unsatisfied, so we went home and prepared a meal there. We are super chill people with realistic expectations, so for us to struggle with this first experience says a lot about how subpar it was. The price of a soft drink is unreasonable as well ($5) - which isn't a huge deal, but with the disappointing food it was just the icing on the cake. A large cup is served but it's completely filled with ice. When asked if we wanted a refill she brought a small cup over with 85% ice and some soda, using that small cup to refill the large cup...splashing soda all over the table and then having to use her dirty damp rag shoved in her apron pocket to clean it up around our food plates, which was definitely unsanitary and made us cringe. There were customers there though - not sure if they were first-timers like us due to the new Farmers Market, but maybe they do have a repeat clientele so none of this matters to them because they can keep their doors open without new customers like us. Sad to try a local business we were excited about and then have this disappointing experience. We envisioned making trips to the new Farmers Market across the street often and then enjoying a wonderful breakfast afterwards, as a nice new Saturday morning tradition. Sadly we will not be returning to this restaurant.
