Reviewing after having a couple different kinds. First time was a veggie, and it was alright. Not my favorite veggie pizza. The second time was the 3 cheese pizza and THAT one was good! I love cheese but even for me, but it was a bit too heavy on the cheese even for me. Also, their crust is amazing!! ETA: crust is a thicker style crust, which is my preference. I always see commercials for Marco's and was craving pizza so I drove from Antelope to try it and I am not disappointed. I ordered a pepperoni pizza and a whole sausage with half pepperoni pizza plus the cinna squares and it was all delicious. The old world pepperoni and classic pepperoni weren't super spicy like other places and the sausage was good too (I usually only like Round Table sausage). You can't beat the carryout deal price. Only $25 to feed 3 people lunch & dessert with plenty left over for dinner and 2nd dessert. I have a hot bag so the pizza was still piping hot and fresh when I arrived home. Even though it's 25-30 min away and we have literally every chain and mom n pop pizza restaurants in Antelope, I would still make the drive just to get Marcos it's that good. Marco's Pizza is my go to for pizza - period! Once you try them, you are hooked for life. Nothing else compares. NOTHING!!! I've had pizza from the West Sacramento store and Folsom store. Pizza is same and consistent across all stores. That's what you call wash, rinse, repeat franchising. Pizza is great when freshly baked but boy....when they are leftovers. Two words of why I will never buy here again. Canned Mushrooms!!! Plus the pizza smelled like a $$. Who puts canned mushrooms on a pizza. We ordered two pizzas and the other one had fresh mushrooms on it, not a lot of them but they weren't canned. Little Caesar's or Dominos is better than these guys. I am only giving them two stars because my husband said so. I want to give them one star with all the pizza places around here and you cannot do fresh!! read more

Yuck! I had a terrible experience ordering from Marcos. Their app is not very user friendly... but once I finally was able to complete my order, it was all downhill. When our food arrived it was the most unappetizing pizza... we had asked for light cheese, and the pizza was literally oozing cheese... the box was dipped in grease... it went straight to the garbage. The Chicken Bites were over cooked, and the cinnamon bites barely had cinnamon. Was not worth the $40+ dollars we paid. Not even close. I usually don't complain, but I decided to complete their survey on their email, and I'm asked to be contacted. It's been a week and still have not heard back. Not a great first impression, and I will probably not be ordering ever again. read more

Not the best pizza I've had but also not the worst. Not something I'd eat again, but only because it's not my taste.

We ordered an XL ultimate magnifico minus the garlic crust and substituting mushrooms for old world pepperoni. It was ready in record time, literally under 15 minutes. I live on the same street 1 mile away and it was already on a shelf by the time we got there 13 minutes after ordering. It had plenty of toppings and was well cooked. The crust could have been more crisp, but that may be because it was in a box instead of being eaten in the restaurant. The XL cost 23.16 including tax which is very reasonable. Our XL seemed more like a large since 2 people ate 2/3rds of it without gluttony. But, that may be inflation like with everything else these days. read more

My bf and I both love pizza and have tried so many pizza places around the Rocklin/Citrus Heights area. This place is always at the top of our list. This is GOOD pizza! and such a great price compared to Round Table. I never leave reviews but felt this place deserves the effort. 11/10 read more

Ordered three pizzas for an 11am takeaway via the app. I wasn't too sure how that would work since they open at 11, but I loved that when I walked in the pizzas were being pulled fresh from the oven! This was for a classroom party so I didn't try it myself, but the kiddos said it was delicious! I've never written a yelp review but I felt Marco's Pizza was owed one after the service last night. I ended a long week of work last and as I was getting a little spacey on the couch I noticed the pizza coupon that came in the mail. Time was dwindling as my appetite was rapidly increasing due to the sweet stinky cheeba. My brother and I just moved in nearby and had never heard of Marco's. We decided to give in to our percolating curiosity (and cheapness by way of the coupon). Call me old fashioned but I stand by the old saying, "Pizza is like sex. When it's good, it's really good, and when it's bad...it's still pretty good." I should add that we did decide to order wings after saving some money with the coupon and as we all know, wings are a total gamble at any fine pizza grotto. MUCH to our surprise our pizza, wings, and an ice cold Peppy cola were delivered faster than Will Smith's right hand on Oscar night, AND if efficiency wasn't enough the QUALITY of product was SUPERB and broke the veil of time and space, although that may have been the kush. I even showed the cashier Marco's website AD and she said, yes Marcos is running a special but that sale is not good at this location, yet I did not see anything on Marco's website that excluded the Rocklin location. This place was great! I had to feed 23 boys in a no contact way and they offered to put the XL pizzas that I bought into boxes with 2 slices/box. Once I placed the order online, they called me to confirm that I still wanted 23 boxes. Pizza was labeled, hot, and ready by the time I got there. They help me carry it all to my car. This was our first and last time trying Marcos Pizza. I placed our order on the app, I went and checked my confirmation one of the pizzas had the wrong sauce listed. I called the store and updated the sauce to what we wanted. Checked my updated confirmation and they listed No Sauce. I called them back and said I wanted double red sauce. I was assured that the pizza would be delivered with double Red Sauce. When our pizzas arrived lo and behold one of the pizzas showed up with NO Sauce. I think two stars is a stretch. I ordered online yesterday, no problems, pizza was ready when I got there, everybody was fine. The give you parm packets and the crust is ok. Everything else was bad. Cheese is gelatinous especially when reheated. Sauce is not good. I paid $30 so continue to eat the leftovers, but its gotten nauseating. If this is a franchise, please close and open something different. This really was bad. Maybe it was just my pizza and everybody else's is fine. But it as a greasy fake tasting cheese mess.
