The dozen or so patrons in the restaurant were forced to scrape the bottom of the food containers for the scraps of food available. This was the state of the buffet at 1pm, halfway through lunch service. So, so disappointed to be charged 12$ for this. There are good buffet places in Ottawa, but this is not one of them. To our surprise, the muppas were served within no time, while the dosa was served well after 25 to 30 minutes!! For any Indian foodie, this would immediately raise suspicion about the food, as the dosa should not take any time to prepare, while the other than takes some time to cook. Anyway, when I tasted the eggs on the entree, the yoke was very cold and the bread served with the entree was also just lukewarm. When I questioned the waiter, why the yolk is so cold, she did not answer the question and was trying to persuade it is ok. Upon further pushback, the waiter said, this food was served in the afternoon buffet and we just used the leftover food!! They serve recycled food and expect the customer to pay the full price and they do not want to even hide that!! So if you choose to visit this restaurant, make sure you get the fresh food.

Neither of us won any money :( But we did get some free coffee and soft drinks at the self-serve dispensers, haha.
