Biscotti and Cie is the cutest bakery/cafe I've ever been to. It is located in old Chelsea in Gatineau. Beautiful area itself with an equally as beautiful cafe. Came for a cappuccino and something sweet after lunch. The service was quick and efficient. The baristas were friendly and patient with me as I took some time to decide on a dessert. Not only do they serve tarts, desserts and pastries. They also have sandwiches and small bites as well. The cappuccino was on point and made the traditional way, dry not a lot of milk and a lot of foam. I truly appreciated finally having a real cappuccino. Not a latte masquerading as a cappuccino. The cafe was amazing, service was great and the tart was scrumptious! Worth a visit. They also have a beautiful outdoor patio as well that is pet friendly.

Really cute cafe in Chelsea with delish food and drink, interesting design/lots of seating on the first and second floor and lovely baristas and chefs. Can't go wrong with the ham and cheese croissant or one of their rotating flavours of scones!

I love everything about this place , the service, the food, location, scenery, coffee... really one of the best spots i like! Especially in the fall scenery is incredible! We had a grilled chicken panini which was super yummy and the strawberry tart is crunchy and just sweet!

Hope you like your coffee super strong! I ordered a cappuccino. To begin with, it was served in the smallest cappuccino cup I've come across and it was so strong and bitter, I swear I could feel it eroding all my internal organs...well maybe not, but it did give me extreme heartburn afterwards. Even after adding a gallon of water to it, it was still bitter. The place is nice, the pastries looked awesome, but it was a complete waste of money. (We had ordered three and it came to 16 something).

New brunch menu - fresh and yummy

Great place to have a coffee and a sweet bite to eat. They offer many pastries but also panini sandwiches and salads. They recently added a breakfast menu. It has a few items but the 3 we tried were delicious! All made with local ingredients and with care. The Orange zest on the whipped cream on the waffle was a very nice touch. The interior is cozy and welcoming. In the summer, the patio and lawn offers many more seating options in a relaxing, wooded environment.

Brunch! Of champions!

I love that this place is so close to home for me, I like the food, the drinks, and the price while a little higher than the norm, is well worth it. They have a new cook and a new baker, and I can say I really notice the difference. The girls who work there are lovely, the only reason I knocked off a star was because the service can be slow. This is the perfect place to take a book, sit out, enjoy the sun and a latte.

This store has a few tables, has beautiful local artwork posted on the walls, offers a 10% discount on your first visit, and uses healthy bases with real fruit. I was also really excited to discover that they had a vegan pea protein powder free of artificial sweeteners, which I could add to my drink. We ordered two drinks and were really happy with what we received. THE DRINKS: Ginger Snap - My fiancé ordered the ginger snap without spinach and he really enjoyed his drink. It featured apples, banana, mango and ginger and it was full of flavour. It was sweet and tart and definitely a must try! Drunken Monkey with spinach: - I ordered the Drunken Monkey with vegan protein powder and spinach. I found my drink lacked a bit of flavour (they scoop the fruit into the cup before blending and a big chunk of fruit created a big air hole, which I think is the reason my drink lacked flavour) but I was really happy with the whole ingredients used and the added protein powder. The service was a little slow but the employee was really nice and I enjoyed looking at the artwork on the walls. Would We Return? Absolutely because I like the clean ingredients used and the ability to add protein to my drink.

TL;DR/The Short Version: Tasty and aesthetically pleasing…read moresmoothies, but a bit pricey. The Long Version: This location in Orleans is the fourth location for Juice Dudez. Their first was in Westboro and I checked them out there when they first opened back in 2020. I had a Pina Colada bubble tea there and wasn't overly impressed. But they must be doing something right if they opened a second location on Bank St, a third location in the Byward Market and now a fourth location in Orleans. Their specialty appears to be fruit smoothies and dessert crepes/waffles. So I decided to try their smoothies. I got the Fancy Dude $13 which is avocado smoothie layered with mango smoothie and strawberry smoothie on top. There's sliced fruits (kiwi, star fruit, strawberries and blueberries) on top as well as crushed nuts (I think pistachios). I added Astha (Lebanese cream) for an additional $1.50. There was also honey drizzled on top. The drink was super pretty and fairly tasty, but I found the price a bit high. The amount of Ashta I received was small, just a little scoop. The smoothie was definitely tastier than the bubble tea I had at their OG location when they first opened. The smoothies here are similar to the smoothies at La Bocca Juice down on Bank St, or Cocktail Antabli and Cocktail Hawaii (both in Montreal). Service was pleasant. Decor is nice. Free parking available in the plaza parking lot. It's where Menchie's used to be. Review #49 (2025)

My husband and I dropped by Olivia for lunch. We each got a salad. I asked for mine with the dressing on the side as I usually do. My husband let them dress his salad and even he thought it was overdressed. I got the Olivia Salad ($13.65) and added chicken (for an additional $3.25). My husband got the Sofia Salad ($14.25) and added shrimp (for an additional $3.50), he also omitted the corn that usually comes with it. The Olivia Salad comes with mixed greens (mostly romaine lettuce), cucumbers, artichoke, Kalamata olives, pearl couscous, grape tomatoes, feta cheese and red onions. The dressing is the Signature Olivia dressing, which I can best describe as a creamy herb dressing. It was flavourful but way too rich and creamy for my tastes so I'm happy that I remembered to ask for the dressing on the side. The vegetables were fresh, although my one critique is that the pieces of romaine lettuce were cut too large. I would have preferred for them to be cut into smaller pieces. The added chicken was lean chicken breast pieces. I enjoyed my salad but I didn't like the to-go containers. They are narrow and deep. For salads I prefer a wider container and it can be more shallow to keep the same volume. The containers they have make it difficult to mix the salad when you get the dressing on the side. The Sophia Salad comes with mixed greens (again, mostly romaine lettuce), grilled red peppers, zucchini, grape tomatoes, croutons, goat cheese and red onions. It usually comes with corn, but we asked them to omit it. The dressing is a pesto dressing. We initially were going to share our salads but because he got his salad pre-dressed it had way too much dressing for me, so I just had a mouthful to sample it. The flavours were good but I couldn't get over the amount of dressing on it. The added shrimp were a medium size and tasted good. There were about 6 shrimp or so in the salad. The restaurant was crowded so we got our orders to go and ate in the car. I was surprised that we were charged for the disposable forks. I hadn't noticed until I looked at the receipt. It was only $0.10 per fork, but I felt like I was being nickeled and dimed (which I was). Service was courteous. They assemble your salad when you order it. The place was busy so there was a bit of a wait. There's limited indoor dining and some outdoor dining as well. Ambiance is "casual healthy food restaurant." You know, the type that caters to the yoga and Pilates crowd ;) The restaurant is in a plaza. There's lots of free parking in the plaza parking lot. (150)
