    4. 15. Egg Sausage Bacon & Cheese Bagel

We went Psycho Donut last Sunday, but they were closed for some reason. So we checked for another donut shop close by and found Maple Leaf Donuts. Nice and clean donut spot with really good customer service. The donuts are fresh and I devoured this Sausage, Bacon and Cheese Bagel. It was so good and hit the spot.

I went on a Friday morning and luckily the line was short. I was mainly there for an apple fritter. It's not common to see a chocolate covered raised donut with peanuts so I went for that as well. I would pass on the apple fritter next time; like many donuts places have problems with it being oily. The raised donut is good, sweet just enough, not oily, fresh pull on the dough.

My partner and I recently discovered this donut shop by our place and boy are we glad we did. It was a chilly rainy Sunday morning but there was still a line about 5 heads deep. Although the line seemed long, the wait for my breakfast sandwich was not. I had an egg and cheese bagel and it reminded me of the bagel sandwiches I used to get from NYC bodegas. They use real eggs and the sandwiches are made to order. I also could not believe how affordable it was. Only $6.25 for a breakfast sandwich is UNHEARD OF in the Bay Area. I can't wait to return to get another breakfast sandwich and to try their donut holes.

Exterior / outside. Doesn't look like much from the outside but omigod deliciousness inside.

=== Omigod, the old-fashioned buttermilks are outliers here, get the chocolate === I've been wanting to try this place forever. Our entire fam gets their hair cut at Shear Art next door but our appointments are always later in the day when Maple Leaf is already closed. Today, we had a rare morning appointment so popped on by, and this place DOES NOT DISAPPOINT. +++ The old-fashioned buttermilk donuts here are OUT OF THIS WORLD. Crispier than the rest with almost a crunch to the edges, great flavor. We got chocolate and maple (no glazed left) and the chocolate was a standout. +++ Ube donut was also surprisingly good. We've had Ube a lot of places, but this donut in the cake (not raised) style was almost creamy inside in a good way. Definitely not your average dry cake donut. + Sandwiches were good. We got three egg and cheese bagels sandwiches - one with ham, one with sausage, one with bacon. Decent but not standouts compared to other places. (Good crust on the bagels though.) + Crossant sandwiches (one ham, one turkey) were solid. Produce was FRESH (again, my big test for a sandwich), entire sandwich was great. Mayo was on the heavy side which I personally love but your tastes may vary. + Super pleasant staff but also kept the line moving. + Really busy which is a good sign. But they get through the line quickly. +++ Prices seemed great. We got the 5 breakfast sandwiches and 6 donuts for less than $50. Small coffee less than $2.50? Where do you ever see that? TIP: GO EARLY. By 10 am, they had less than 50% of their donuts left and were selling out of key things. Good for them but sad for you if you get there closer to noon!

Came here to try their donuts, its a small donut shop but it has few seats to sit at and eat. I asked if they were connected to the other maple lead donuts on saratoga avenue and they said no diff owners. The donuts were fresh and soft, when you bit in you go all the way, no staleness at all. The glaze and chocolate coating was good amount. The coffee was decent and was nice. Just watch out when you park ur car cuz theres few homeless folk around the area so just grab your donuts and go. Great donuts for this campbell area

If you're looking for the best donuts in town, this local, family-owned shop is the place to go! Their donuts taste amazing & are always fresh. They also have the most delicious breakfast sandwiches -- my go to ALWAYS. Beyond the food, the service is top-notch!! You can feel the love and care that goes into running this shop. The staff is always super kind and attentive, and coming here always makes my morning. :) This donut shop will quickly become your go-to spot. It's definitely mine!

Solid spot for breakfast foods and donuts! I got a turkey, egg, and cheese croissant sandwich and added avocado for extra $1.50. I also got a maple bar and glazed old-fashioned donut. My favorite was the glazed old-fashioned donut - so delicious!! Croissant sandwich and maple bar didn't stand out to me as much in comparison. I tried some of my friend's tuna sandwich and that was definitely more up my alley. I will be getting the tuna sandwich next time and trying other donuts!

I used to come here all the time as a child. They saw me so frequently that they would often even stash the last cinnamon twist for me if it was a day they thought I was coming in. Now, I don't really eat doughnuts. But, recently I stopped in for one of the croissant breakfast sandwiches. It was made to order, took only about 4-5 minutes and came out piping hot and with gooey cheese. It pretty was good and hit the spot that day!

TLDR: Amazing service! The workers really value their customers. I love this place. My go-to is a croissant with egg & cheese, and they usually put a bit of seasoning on it I sometimes opt out of getting donuts because I find them to be stale most of the time, but my go-to Nonetheless, it's a small mom & pop shop with top tier service. The people working are always very nice and my roommates and I often praise them for knowing our order before we even get to the front. And I've noticed this same service with a lot of their regular customers. I can tell they value community and those that support their business

Just never got around to working a review before. Went early on a Saturday evening recently and was surprised to not have to wait. We split a Bibb lettuce salad that was simple, refreshing and perfect. A tiny pea fritter was the very definition of a small bite, and while it wasn't what I expected, it was crisp and tender. Grilled artichoke was one of the best I have ever had. (Just wish they had been explicit on the menu that it was a half a grilled artichoke). Cocktails were up to their usual high standard -- rye Manhattan for the BF and clarified milk punch for me. I don't get out much these days and I rarely drink alcohol, but is $20 a lot for a cocktail? Or is that normal now? They were great though. BF got the ribeye with morels, which was perfectly cooked and unbelievably tender. I had the burger, which was more exciting than it sounds, dressed with a wild combo of veggies, cheese and bacon while still managing to be harmonious and fresh tasting. Side of fries were crisp and tasty, though not as perfectly hot as I would ideally wish. Because the burger was late coming out, or server (Bernardo I think?) comped us an amazing little dish of vanilla soft serve ice cream with olive oil and sea salt, along with the butterscotch pudding that we ordered. The pudding didn't have the strong butterscotch flavor that I hoped for, but the vanilla ice cream stole the dessert show. OCK isn't a place I can afford often, but I still really like it. I appreciate the creativity of the dishes, the quality ingredients, and the bar. And the old-school shopping center vibe of the Pruneyard is low key festive and garden-like. The interior of the restaurant is kind of standard-industrial modern, but nicely so. Oh, and their glassware is super nice.

Unfortunately, I wasn't particularly impressed with what I ordered this time around, but I'd like to come back and try some of their other dishes before forming a final opinion. The Vienna hot dog was $12, but it didn't feel worth the price. The chili and cheese they used made it taste more like something someone could make at home rather than something I'd expect from a restaurant at this price point. The KFC (Korean fried chicken) was decent, but the flavor and texture reminded me almost exactly of Taiwanese popcorn chicken with the basil and with green onions instead. Overall, maybe I may have just ordered the wrong things, so I'll give it another try and explore more of their menu next time.

It was the perfect spot to enjoy the fresh air and made for a really relaxing atmosphere. The restaurant has a great vibe overall, especially if you're looking for an outdoor brunch. (Have not been inside) I ordered the steak chilaquiles, and I'd give them a 8.5/10. The flavors were really good, the sauce was delicious, and I liked the addition of the eggs, avocado, and queso. My only complaint was the steak. I ordered it medium rare, but it came out medium well, a bit dry and was tougher than expected, making it difficult to cut. It was still tasty--just not cooked quite the way I was hoping. The mimosas were good too, a great value. Nothing that really stood out as amazing, but definitely nothing bad about them either--they got the job done. What really elevated the experience was the service. Our server Rebecca was attentive, knowledgeable, kind, and incredibly quick throughout the meal. They checked in at the right times, answered our questions confidently, and made us feel well taken care of without ever being overbearing. Overall, I'd come back, especially to sit on the patio again. With a more tender steak, this meal would've easily been an 8.5 or 9 out of 10!! :)

That's blatant racism, and it happened while I was a paying customer. Staff did nothing to address it in the moment. Understandably upset and shaken, I had too much to drink afterward. My family came and drove me home safely. Rather than addressing what actually happened -- a customer being racially harassed on their premises -- management's response was to ban me, not the person who harassed me. If a business allows this kind of harassment to go unaddressed and then punishes the target of it for reacting, that's a real problem, not a minor service issue. This is the San Francisco Bay Area. We should expect better than this. Avoid this place if you don't want to find out how they'll treat you when something like this happens to you.

Within easy walking distance of plenty of parking and a parking garage if you don't find anything on the street nearby . Reservations were easy to make and they had a cute light up Happy Birthday sign waiting on the table! The ambiance was dark but had great ambient lighting . I loved the green velvet booths and decor , which evoked old Hollywood glamour ! There was a bat and lounge area to one side and seated dining on the other , Our server Camille was amazing ! So attentive and her timing got delivering each Sri name course was on point . The food was fresh and presented nicely. One of my friends and I decided to each order the poke tacos . I loved them! Even though it was probably an appetizer is the right amount for a light meal. My friends ordered the Korean spice chicken and pan seared salmon and they both complimented their meal. I can't remember the all the names-of the drinks except for the Miami Vice the birthday girl ordered . We also got her one that was served lit on fire ! After our first visit last night, I think it's safe to say it is probably the best Happy Hour offering in the SF South Bay. Good quality, good value, great service and nice club/lounge ambiance. Here's what we shared food-wise... * HH Garlic Noodles -- This didn't quite meet my expectation. Described as a "perfectly cooked pasta tossed in rich garlic butter", what we got was more like a soft udon type noodle with a rather starchy garlic sauce. The taste was definitely very garlicky, but the dish could have been much better with an al dente pasta tossed in an actual garlic butter or olive oil. * HH Wagyu Smash Burger -- This was yum! Great flavor, nicely grilled served on a toasted soft brioche bun. ($15 on HH versus $32 witha side of fries on the Dinner Menu :o) * HH Hamachi Crudo -- This was superb! Fresh generous slices of yellowtail topped with sliced lemon, jalapeno, tobiko and microgreens, perfectly matched with Ponzu sauce. ($12 on HH for 4 pieces versus $23 for 5 pieces on the Dinner menu) * HH Crab Cakes -- 2 medium sized blue crab cakes with diced mango and spicy aioli. Pretty decent for $14. * HH Crispy Brussels Sprouts -- Good standard fare. For drinks, we enjoyed... * HH Weather Pinot Noir -- Our server, Mikayla, said it was her favorite wine on the HH menu. It was very nice. * HH Mango Deck -- Reposado, Jalapeno syrup, lime and mango puree with a 151 rum flambee. Great drink if you like sweet, sour and spicy... and it comes with a show as the 151 rum is lit. Will definitely return. Would love to try the HH Grand Seafood Tower with oysters, yellowtail and salmon sashimi, shrimp and lobster ($65 on HH) which we saw another table order. Looks like a great place for a larger party celebration too.

I didn't mind paying for the extra taco but when the bill came they charged me DOUBLE THE PRICE for one taco plate.
