Ermahgerd!! We loved this place! Not sure how I waited so long to visit, but sweet baby Jesus put it on my heart to go this morning and we definitely were impressed! We got seated immediately upon arrival (we got there a little before 10am on a Sunday) and it was super busy, so I was glad we came early. Everyone was so nice and our food came out quickly and was looking GUD. We had the sunshine mountain french toast and it was AHHHmazing! It was basically a french toast stack covered in strawberries & whipped cream, AND it had these crispy ass chicken tenders seasoned to perfection stacked on top WITH bacon stacked on top of that AND to top it all off, it has a damn donut sitting on top just like a star on a Christmas tree! And I can promise you they got that bacon from Wilbur himself because it was tastyyy! We also got the bed and breakfast Benedict which came with french toast and apple dumplings. We didn't even know what a damn apple dumpling was,but it got eaten. Might I add, I ordered my eggs fried-over-medium and they did exactly that. I wanted to run to the kitchen and scream out like Will Smith from Bad Boys, "Now THATS how you fry an egg!!" ..... But I didn't, because I didn't look as cute as I needed to at the moment to stay out of jail. Great little brunch spot and being from McKinney it's nice not to smell sewage when you walk into the establishment. If you know, you know. The parking lot is treacherous, I guess those pulling off Parker still think they're on Parker, hard to say. It's a parking lot folks, slow down and let the people walk. Just ordered takeout - to go order was not prepped with napkins, utensils, plates or condiments - so we would up eating with our hands very dry pancakes and waffles - kind of disappointing - I did ask if plates, forks ect was packed when I picked up order. Did not ask if butter, syrup or ketchup was included, would have assumed it was. I stumbled across this place while just driving around one day, so I decided to place a to go order. I did get the incorrect food but it was my fault . The wait can be a little long and I noticed that we were skipped and forgotten about, but still I'm okay cause I know it's crazy busy and they are doing what they can to keep the tables cleaned and the staff and people happy. Today is my second time dining in andddddd I'm still in love just like the first time! My waitress Maddie is new and in training but she is doing a darn good job at paying close attention to our order! Her trainer Nora is just so helpful and sweet! Great food and good service. I had the Chicken and sausage waffle. This was a heaping serving of sausage, waffle, and topped with a biscuit. My husband had the Farmer's skillet! Which was equally delicious. I did take off one star because my biscuit was burnt at the top. This was enough food for two separate meals. I'll definitely go back. read more

So I came here on New Years Eve around noon with a few of my coworkers. There really wasn't a wait and we were seated almost immediately. The interior was clean and simple! Overall it's a super cute place! However, I will say there are definitely some kinks, (with regard to the service), that need to be worked out. So here is the bad news: Our waitress, while very sweet, was a bit all over the place and slightly discombobulated. First of all, she almost left the table without taking one of our orders, and only did so after being reminded. Secondly, our drinks were rarely refilled and at one point, a waiter from another table came over to ask what we were drinking and refilled our drinks, as our waitress was nowhere to be found. Lastly, I ordered a burger with fries. Sadly, she forgot to bring the fries out with the burger which was fine, because I was full anyway. After a few reminders, she finally brought them out, at the very end of the meal. Naturally, these went straight into a to go box because i was clearly full at that point. So that was unfortunate. The good news is: The food is DELICIOUS!!!!!! Seriously. We tried a variety of different items and everything was so good. The presentation was also beautiful and impressive. First of all, we started with the Buffalo Chicken and Bacon Poutine, which was AMAZING. For my main course, I got the governor burger which was also super good! Of my coworkers got The BLT which she loved (it has a 1/2 a pound of bacon so mentally prepare yourself for that). Another one of my coworkers got the Canadian Chicken and Bacon Waffle, which she could not stop raving about! She said the waffle was one of the best she's had and she was a huge fan of the chicken as well. My other coworker got the Chef Chopped Salad, which oddly came with pickles, but she loves pickles so this was a delicious surprise for her and she loved it. Overall, I will say, this place has great potential! Seeing as they just opened, I totally understand that they need to work a few things out with their wait staff. However, I think they are off to a great start, and with a bit more training, this place could definitely be one of the best in the area. Above all else, the food is ON POINT. Large portions! Our table of 4 split a medium Windsor poutine fries (size recommended by the waiter) since we all ordered entrees. That was the perfect size to sample the fries and still have room for my food. I ordered the croque monsieur which I would not order again. The ham wasn't evenly dispersed between the waffles and it just wasn't as appetizing looking as the other dishes. The chicken fried chicken was nice and crispy. The side of pancakes was good. Each entree was a lot of food and we ended up taking some food to-go. If I were eating with 3 people, I'd probably order a poutine and split 2 entrees. There are so many food options on the menu I'd definitely return. Our first time there and what a great experience. Read both sides of the menu -both sides are full of choices. I had the basic waffles, eggs, and sausage. Sounds simple? It is and is also a large serving. But I summoned my inner strength and ate it. Very good. My wife had the Eggs Benedict. Seriously, she and I could have shared the meal and been full. It is served on a English muffin which is piled high with finely shredded Jane, eggs to order, and topped with hollandaise sauce. She could only eat half of it as it was so large. The side was incredible potatoes. They had been oven roasted with a crisp exterior but soft inside. Can't wait to go back and try something from the other side of the menu! read more

Love it. Everything is good. The gravy is the only thing I would improve. It's the typical packet stuff. Waffles were great. Chicken tenders are tender and moist. They are so juicy with flavor. Food was horrible! We asked for runny very soft poached eggs on our Benedict's. Instead we got hard poached - very cold eggs after waiting a very long time. Food was inedible. I've read some other reviews and people are complaining about the slow service and food but I have to say we didn't experience any of that on our visit. Granted some of those reviews were when the place first opened so of course there will be some hiccups with newer restaurants but they may have gotten their stuff together since. We went on a Saturday around 1 o'clock. They were reasonably busy but we were able to get a table right away. We got a nice window seat as it was a great day outside. Our server came up right away and took our drink orders. He was super friendly and gave some great recommendations. We started off with the cheese please poutine and it was a really great starter. If you love cheese I highly recommend it. I got the Governor burger and just as described it was a lot to take in. The amount of bacon had my blood pressure increasing with every bite but it was worth it. They didn't quite nail the medium cook I requested but a minor set back for an overall enjoyable burger. My partner ordered the Bed and Breakfast Benedict and as the picture shows it isn't a snack but a "whole meal." He loved it and everything was cooked to perfection. This place was PACKED. A clear indication that the food is great. WRONG.... Although, I loved the ambience, I found the food less than mediocre, at best. This is a clear confirmation we are created equal, but very different-especially with our palates. The fact that it was packed made me feel like the reviews I read were accurate...they were not (at least not for me and my brunch partner). When you walk in you immediately smell maple syrup and it was all over for me. I was in a trance with visions of pancakes and French toast dancing in my head. This place gets a 5/5 for food. I had the Croque Monsieur Waffle and it was absolutely amazing! The apple dumpling on top was a really nice touch. The Apple was tart, the ham was salty, the cheese was savory, the waffle was delicious and the sweet maple syrup made it perfect. Someone else at tthe table had the chicken and sausage waffle and said it was very good. The service was great and our server answered all of our questions and made suggestions. Heard about this restaurant from a friend so decided to try it for dinner. I really like how the restaurant is huge with "spacious" tables and booths throughout the restaurant. Dim lighting. Music piped through the place. Nice ambiance. They serve salad or soups with their dinner entrees. Most cold crisp salad I've ever had. My husband had the fish and chips and I've never seen this served this way. Huge piece of fish deep fried with generous portion of French fries and green beans! My husband cleaned the platter! I decided to try the 8 oz rib eye which unfortunately I had to send back 3 times due to being overdone. They were very nice about it and the manager came and delivered my steak the third time To ensure it was medium rare vs. well. Ali gauze the steak was green beans and 3 large potato skins filled with cheese and huge chunks of bacon! I could not finish. I took half home. I would Love to try their breakfasts here. They look amazing on the menu. They have a large selection of alcohol but no beer on draft. Our second time visiting this location and upon entering there wasn't anyone at the hostess stand. We waiting for someone to greet or acknowledge us which never happened. The restaurant wasn't busy so I'm not sure what the issue was. We finally asked a waiter if it was "seat yourself" and he asked "would you like a table or booth?" Which we replied booth. He sat us and we waited for our server to come take our drink order. After a few minutes, a friendly young lady (Kristin) came to greet us and take our drink order. She was wonderful! Friendly, pleasant and attentive. She definitely made our experience better than when we walked in the door. Thank you Kristin! The omelet was undercooked and luke warm at best. The omelet was not even hot enough to melt the cheese cheese. Pulse the egg whites were still a bit runny. The hash browns were room temp. Brunch drinks really vary, but typically places have cheaper mimosas and bloody Mary's but these were on a bit of the pricier side. Their drink selection is interesting. Very big food menu. And small order of the regular poutine ($4). I've had poutine in Canada and it tasted better. I don't remember the gravy being cold. The fries weren't my favorite. I guess the gravy makes a little softer. Not that many cheese curds. The chicken and waffle was average / not that great. Presentation looked great. The sausage and biscuit were good, but I'm not huge on those. I was more interested in the chicken and waffle. The fried chicken wasn't crispy and the inside was a little hard... waffle was not crispy either and more on the soggy side. I like the strawberries added though.
