Well the food tasted ok I guess. If you go and love grease this is the place. Definately order the Shrimp and Grits and if in the mood for pasta the tagliatelle! See pics. The food was actually not bad tasting, although my pasta needed a bit more salt. But I dont know why so much oil ! Did the chef just pour the oil from the sausage that he fried back into the pasta dish ? Or, for my wife's grits dish, the rendered oil from the bacon ? Service was ok but the single waiter had too many tables to attend to. It's unfortunate because my wife had a wonderful time during a prior lunch visit on which she ordered fish tacos which prompted her to have me come along for dinner. Based on these dishes I dont think I will be returning. read more

Ambiance is modern, service is good and food is very good. Go at least once a week for breakfast or lunch.

Great food, wait time was minimal, staff was friendly. We sat outside on the patio and were greeted immediately after being seated. Prices were very reasonable for the quality of food. read more

Been here twice and have enjoyed both times. Yes, it's noisy, but most restaurants are these days. Going during the "off" hours helps some. Service is above good. Service both times has been outstanding. The decor is very pretty. Breakfast is my favorite. The Breakfast Croissant is very good. With the potatoes, it's just the right amount of food. My coffee cup was never empty. Loved, Loved the Hot Dog. I know they aren't supposed to be good for you, but oh my it was good! And with the onion rings............... And, the restrooms (on both trips) were some of the cleanest I've seen. read more

My husband and I have tried M&R several times, and each time we have been disappointed in the food. Yesterday, Sunday, we had lunch around 1:30 and we both ordered the Club Sandwich with fries. The sandwich was terrible, not only in presentation, but also in taste. Basically, it was just a bread and lettuce sandwich. Three overly thick, dried, slices of some kind of bread, thin piece of fatty ham, thin piece of cheese, one piece of bacon, big chunks of yellow-green flavorless bib lettuce, and only a dab of mayonnaise on one bread slice. The French fries were greasy and not fresh. On top of the bad food, when we arrived, we were escorted past several tables piled with dirty dishes - not too appealing. I don't know how this restaurant gets 5 star ratings! read more

The staff at maple and rye are truly amazing :) they made me feel right at home and remembered me when I came in a second time :) Maddie at the bar is wonderful! And I loved seeing how well the management works with the team, I was very impressed :) Loveeee the food and atmosphere:) So happy this place is here! read more

Amazing views with a golf course and water fountain...delicious food...and great service. Sabi is the best!!

I'm incensed that this restaurant won't make substitutions: for example...my wife has s a vegetarian. The only item was a large salad, but it had 4 pieces of chicken on top. They would not give her anything else! so we had to pay the price of it with chicken. At a special time with friends at Breakfast, I ordered the egg dish that had bacon on the side I DO NOT EAT BACON!! They would not provide me a piece of turkey sausage in its place. This is totally insane. WE WONT BE BACK! read more

After my negative review of Maple and Rye, I received an email from the manager in which she encouraged me to give the restaurant another try. Because of that email, my wife and ate at the restaurant last evening. We were pleasantly surprised at the improved quality of the food and service. My fish and chips was hot and tasty and her salmon dish was very good too. Our server was excellent and very attentive. The restaurant's view of the 18th hole of the Granite Falls golf course is spectacular, and my wife and I encourage everyone to check out this much-improved eatery. We're happy that we did! read more

Really wanted to like this place. Have only been there for lunch, so I will give their breakfast a try as we had a nice server. I had fish tacos. They came looking like they had fallen off plate and was scooped back up together and had somehow lost the fish. My salad was a bit dry and I asked for a little additional dressing. When bill came I saw they charged me .70 cents for the additional dressing. My friend had the smash burger. It wasn't smashed and the size was something slightly larger than a slider. Won't even comment on prices as the portions were so small and inadequate. read more

The service was fine. They seated us promptly in the busy, noisy part of the restaurant. The menu had a number of options. Since this was the first time there, purposely choose brunch, leaving you with breakfast, or lunch options. One of our guests choose breakfast, and his hash browns were cold and soggy. They brought him a replacement order. I ordered soup and a side salad. The salad was fine. The soup was disgusting. It was cold and the flavor was to be desired. Would be unlikely to make going here again a choice as there are too many good options available. read more

Ordered a California Omelette. It was not warm, and more like a flat browned edged scrambled egg. I suspect it was made ahead of time and reheated. Other ingredients were very skimpy! The four avocado slices were from a very small sized avocado. The toast was cold with a smear of butter than never melted. I suspect that was done ahead of time too. Someone else in my group ordered the same breakfast and felt the same about her order. Village Inn or Denny's serves a far superior product. The waitress was efficient and pleasant. The ambiance was fine, clean and bright. Probably won't return, bottom line is the food! read more

Very nice restaurant, great menu selection and the food and service did not disappoint either. I highly recommend making reservations, went at noon on Sunday and it was quite busy so I was glad I had reserved a table and I was seated right at my reserved time. oh very reasonably priced menu with beautiful views. Overall, great experience!! read more

The food was good. Service not so great. Very slow. They have no one that expedites the food from the kitchen so it just sits there. I watched food sitting for 10 mins. I'm gonna give it another try and sit at the bar. Maybe the bartender is better. The place is cute. read more

Food is not good. French Dip was made with frozen roast beet. Arby's is much better. Meat loaf was ok but very small portions. Won't be back. read more

Great view of the golf course as you dine. Service was adequate to good. The food was bland and uninspired.

Service was an absolute joke. Bring things out in a random order, bring wrong things out, bring food for one person while the rest of the table sits for fifteen minutes... oh, and a busser who rolled his eyes at everything we asked for. Like, "Hey, sorry, this salad comes with bleu cheese crumbles, is that on the way?" Eye roll. "Hey, could you remove some of these dirty dishes? "Yeah" eye roll. Food was OK, but we'll never be back. read more

Food was mediocre...A lot of pesky flies in back dining room. When we mentioned it to one of the servers back there she said "yeah well there's flies everywhere." Wow, really...? We were not the only customers that were annoyed by the flies... read more

Sabi was the best server at the bar today - food was amazing and we were so pleased with the service! We will definitely be back!

Me and my husband visited this place on Saturday around 10:30am. We had been wanting to see how it was . Walking in the food smelled great it was not very busy. It appeared there was enough help to wait on guests but not enough help to wipe down tables and restock jam, sugar etc. I would have liked to see this restaurant much better run when it's not busy compared to busy. Therefore this earned a 3 star rating read more

I was pleasantly surprised by Maple & Rye this last weekend. It has not been my first choice for a meal with company, but I can make reservations, so we tried it again. I give Maple & Rye a less than stellar rating because of their staff. The Hostess for this Saturday at 11:30am could not conger up a smile the whole time we were there; I did not feel welcome. The breakfast meals, 2 Denver Omelets and 1 Biscuits and Gravy with eggs, however, were excellent. I was not expecting these flavorful meals as we have been disappointed to the point of not even thinking of eating at Maple & Rye in the past. I have made sure that I told others about our good experience and probably will not be reluctant to eat there again. read more

Had dinner here. Great spot. Sat outside when it was cooler. I had the meatloaf. It was just ok, nothing great. Mine is much better. The veggies were awful & our service very subpar. The waitress didn't seem like she'd served before. read more

Food was fine - breakfast. Service was mediocre as servers seemed to be stretched thin; maybe one or two at the hostess stand could have pitched in. The disappointing thing about our visit for Sunday brunch was total disregard for the fact that we had made a reservation for four on the patio. We had to wait, were offered a hi-top in the bar, and were told the patio was very sunny. Saw several parties enter w/o reservations who were seated with the same sense of urgency(?) as afforded our party. Finally seated on the patio in partial sun BEHIND A POST completely blocking the view of the golf course. We were very specific when we made the reservation as we wanted a GRAND experience for our out-of-town guests. Several parties on the patio were seated in the shade and were walk-ins ahead of us. No sense making a reservation or expecting any preferential treatment as a resident with a W/S Concepts loyalty card, which was provided at the time the reservation was made. Absolutely love the cafe, but our experiences at M&R continue to fall short of expectations. read more

We truly wanted this place to be a great new stop in our dining rotation, really...we did. But after eating here (I simply can't call it "dining") our level of disappointment is off the charts. House made pasta was rubbery and crispy on the edges, and the sauces were barely there, not to mention completely flavorless. We ordered the bacon wrapped dates for an appetizer and the look of them alone was nearly enough to send us running; then we actually ate one. (Oh, the horror!) After all the waiting for this place to open, and one that was supposed to elevate our experience in The Grand, I can only say that I miss the Coco's that used to be in this location. Their food was far better. What a shame. read more

The restaurant was very nice. Our waitress was sweet and efficient. Unfortunately, the food was just ok. The coffee was fresh ground and brewed but very weak. It looked like the only table they had for 8 was a high top which for older people is not especially good. We managed and had a nice time. Would like to try some of the dinner choices another time. read more

The deviled eggs were our absolute favorite literally so so good! I got the French dip and seasoning and aju just so good. I will say the meat was a bit tough so a bit of chewing involved. My boyfriend got the breakfast croissant sandwich and the bacon was VERY hard. Our server was new so knowledge wasn't quite 100% but she was very sweet! The vibe is very busy. Very loud clinking. Loved the open kitchen concept but I think it adds to the very noisy environment. I want to try more but pretty pricey! read more

What a disappointment for my first visit for breakfast. I ordered the patriot breakfast with sausage links, it had only one link and the hash browns were so overcooked they were beyond crunchy. My wife ordered one of the Benedict's and the poached eggs were overcooked. She spoke with the waitress and they ordered two more eggs. Meanwhile the rest of the breakfast was getting cold. When the two newly poached eggs arrived they were almost raw so we asked that the dish be taken off our bill. Perhaps we'll give them another try but not for breakfast. read more
