Our 2nd visit was amazing! Don't skip trying the pork jerky, grilled pork jowl, and coconut ice cream. They were exceptional! Fried rice, pad see ew, and red curry with pork belly were all solid choices as well. The servers were on point, but it was hard to get their attention at times with how busy the restaurant was. It's no fault of their own. I hope the food and homey vibes remain the same as they continue to get more popular. With food that good, it'll definitely blow up on social media. Finally a place in OC that serves Authentic Thai food. I got Lao style papaya salad, morning glory with crispy pork, crab fried rice. pork jawl, chicken coconut soup. Service was great, food came out in a timely manner, even though it was very busy. Our waiter was very attentive. No need to go to LA for good Thai food. read more

Checked this place out with my husband. We enjoyed our experience there and plan on returning. We had the tom kha soup and pad Thai, both fresh and cooked with care. Tried this new Thai restaurant and it was good. There was a lot of space to sit inside the restaurant so we did not have to wait too long for dinner during the weekend. The food was delicious. I hate to give this place 3 but ordering to go has been less than pleasant. 1st to go I ordered in person and emphasized wanting veggies added to the chicken Panang and paid extra. I sat and waited 15-20min for my order to be ready. Got the food home and no veggies. Called and they apologized offering a $5 credit. Ok more or less but disappointing. Next to go order was called in. I ordered pad Thai with beef and egg rolls which was repeated back to me. Get there to pick up and my order is ready yeah!! Pad se ewe - no egg rolls. Uuhhh totally wrong order and had to wait again for correct order. I used my previous $5 credit but no discount or credit offered. Asked to speak with manager or owner and they only come in on Tues- not sure I'll be back which is too bad on both their ends bc I have brought new customers to them for dine. Really cute spot for a nice meal! Ambiance and service were great. We came in during their soft opening. Drinks were delicious - we got a Taro Thai Tea and a Phuket Thai Tea (slightly stronger tea flavor which is better than a regular Thai tea in my opinion). The satay chicken was moist and had good flavor and texture. Pad See Ew and Panang Curry also had great flavor but slightly on the sweeter side. i love manon! i've come a few times now since they first opened, and they've been consistent with their quality and their service every time. sometimes it can get really busy on the weekends, so i would recommend making a reservation. they're usually pretty flexible, my family has made a few last minute reservations day of and they were super accommodating. it's also not super loud either, so it's a good place to talk and catch up with friends or family in my opinion! i came again when visiting family this week and my mom had made a passing comment about celebrating my dad's birthday to my family, not even directly to the server. at the end of the meal, our server santo brought out a complimentary ice cream and said he heard us say we were celebrating and wanted to celebrate with us :,) definitely recommend their crispy pork chili and sea salt dish, and their morning glory dish (the sauce on it is really good). a lot of their dishes do automatically come with spice, so if you have a lower spice tolerance i'd say to double check with the server before you place the order. but will definitely continue coming to manon in the future! read more
