I have wanted to stop into Manny G's since moving to Keller over two years ago. I finally obliged last night as I took a break from running errands to enjoy a cold beer and a burger for dinner. I noticed as I read Yelp reviews that a couple reviewers were really down on the burger. I asked the friendly bartender what she recommends - and she immediately replied "you have to try the burger, it is great!" Hence my dilemma. Multiple negative reviews versus a bartenders hearty recommendation -- so I took a chance and ordered the burger. First of all, with a $9.95 price tag for a 10-oz patty, my expectations are very high. Manny offers an extensive list of condiments available at no extra charge - way cool. So mine came with lettuce, tomatoes, jalapenos, pico de gallo, and lots of mustard. I was glad to have the mustard. The patty was virtually tasteless, as at least one reviewer noted. I did not note a poor texture as other reviews mentioned, but it was like eating a whole lot of nothing. I ordered mine with onion rings, which came out nicely prepared and served as the highlight of the meal. Draft beer was nice and cold - $2.25 for a pint of Coors Light. Now that I mention it, THAT was the highlight of the meal. So I give them two stars. It was OK, but the burger does not support the hefty price tag. The beer was cold and the service was very friendly. I might stop in again to wet my whistle, but I will take a pass on the menu next time.

Two new faces behind the bar.... But where is Jessica? Maybe it was my imagination, but Manny's had a weird vibe tonight. I know it's been a couple of weeks since I've been in, but something is going on... Mannny wasn't even there. On the plus side, oysters on the half-shell were being served, which only adds to the weirdness. I hope I get to the bottom of this. Any help would be appreciated.

The food was just ok, but the waitstaff were unbelieveably slow! I tried it twice with the same results.

The best Chicken Enchilada's I've ever had. I like the Armadillo eggs too!. Not a fan of the hot dog.

I really want to love this place…read more Busy local old school diner with breakfast, lunch & pies. Easy parking in private lot. Overpriced for what we got. We got Turkey Bacon Melts that come on sourdough with fries. Bread was sturdy and sinfully buttery. I was pleasantly surprised with turkey breast (not deli meat). Bacon seemed like microwave bacon and cheese got lost. Fries were straight up frozen crinkle fries they didn't add seasoning to. I love dipping my fries in ranch but could not waste calories on this ranch - tasted like it came out of the big plastic tub from restaurant supply company. They have senior meals for really good price which is great! Lunch starts at 1030. I don't see that I wrote a review about my experience a year or two ago but would have rated that 4 stars and our reason for going back. Service was better last time. Remember the food being much better last time but we ordered different items that I can't remember at this point. It was breakfast though.

Service is good, we got in and out quickly since we had to get back to work. They have daily specials that we need to return to try.

She led me back to the table with my friends and created some small talk on the way, so that was a nice change of pace, considering many people just point you on your way. We were seated near the back which seemed to be somewhat like an open kitchen feel, which I actually thought was pretty cool. Our waitress was very fast and helpful with picking out our foods based on our likes. Once the food came out, everyone seemed to really enjoy their meals, including myself. We started the table off with the biscuits and fried green tomatoes (demolished!). I kept it simple with the chicken and waffles (delicioius and crispy), which was a HUGE helping (yum!). Others at my table enjoyed the the shrimp and grits and WB chicken sandwich. No complaints heard from them! Overall, I really enjoyed the ambiance, the food, the service, and the experience I had for my first time there. Would come back again for dinner to see if there is a difference.

What could have been better. *Booth seating for 6 was a little crowded but not a big issue. * Was a little pricey but considering the area and it was good, not a big deal.
