    Manny G's bar

I have wanted to stop into Manny G's since moving to Keller over two years ago. I finally obliged last night as I took a break from running errands to enjoy a cold beer and a burger for dinner. I noticed as I read Yelp reviews that a couple reviewers were really down on the burger. I asked the friendly bartender what she recommends - and she immediately replied "you have to try the burger, it is great!" Hence my dilemma. Multiple negative reviews versus a bartenders hearty recommendation -- so I took a chance and ordered the burger. First of all, with a $9.95 price tag for a 10-oz patty, my expectations are very high. Manny offers an extensive list of condiments available at no extra charge - way cool. So mine came with lettuce, tomatoes, jalapenos, pico de gallo, and lots of mustard. I was glad to have the mustard. The patty was virtually tasteless, as at least one reviewer noted. I did not note a poor texture as other reviews mentioned, but it was like eating a whole lot of nothing. I ordered mine with onion rings, which came out nicely prepared and served as the highlight of the meal. Draft beer was nice and cold - $2.25 for a pint of Coors Light. Now that I mention it, THAT was the highlight of the meal. So I give them two stars. It was OK, but the burger does not support the hefty price tag. The beer was cold and the service was very friendly. I might stop in again to wet my whistle, but I will take a pass on the menu next time.

Two new faces behind the bar.... But where is Jessica? Maybe it was my imagination, but Manny's had a weird vibe tonight. I know it's been a couple of weeks since I've been in, but something is going on... Mannny wasn't even there. On the plus side, oysters on the half-shell were being served, which only adds to the weirdness. I hope I get to the bottom of this. Any help would be appreciated.

This one of the best resturants in keller. The bar tenders are great and you will enjoy the laid back atmosphere.

I would say the food is good, and the service is exceptional. Good family restaurant. Worth a try (went for breakfast).

We had a reservation, which I'd definitely recommend because it gets busy especially on a Friday and parking is limited. Once we were seated, the server gave us a nice rundown of the menu. We started with the hand rolls, the Masu Tartare and Toro Tartare and both were delicious. I personally loved the Masu more, but you really can't go wrong with either. We also ordered calamari, which arrived a bit later. It was okay, nothing spectacular, not as crispy as I hoped but the rest of the meal more than made up for it. For sushi, I had the Spicy Atlantic Salmon and the Kani Koi. I absolutely loved the Spicy Atlantic Salmon...it was definitely a favorite but my fiancé preferred the Kanikoi, so everyone wins. We also tried the Kamasu - Barracuda, which was just as delicious. Overall, everything was perfect, and I can't wait to come back to try more hand rolls and a few other dishes.

I am a Sushi novice to say the least, but my grandson and daughter wanted to introduce me to his new favorite restaurant, he's 15 so I had to see what he was raving about! The only reason I gave 4 stars is, cuz I am not educated on all things sushi and the extensive menu didn't really break down what each category really meant, the place was packed so clearly it's a newbie issue. I mentioned to our server Cameron, who was so polite and professional by the way, that it might be fun to host a monthly Sushi 101, where people could make reservations and for a flat rate the attendees could learn the difference between sashimi, sushi and all the other preparations for the cuisine. People could taste and sample each type and learn a little bit, giving them confidence to put Hush in their local food rotation. I really enjoyed my experience, and will do some research on the different options so I can try some new foods, I have no doubt I can ask my server, but that would have made me uncomfortable making the rest of my party wait while I learn, this was a spur of the moment invite so I didn't have time to do research, totally my problem. I will be going back once I learn more! I enjoyed my food, the Tempura Shrimp roll, we also really liked the smoked salmon roll, the crab rangoon, and shrimp fried rice, all was delicious! Very nice place for a date night, if you like sushi you won't be disappointed!

That's NOT the Pour Shack- at least not for its regulars. We're from all walks of life - pink, white and blue collar, here to enjoy ourselves, each other's company, and decompress from the 9-5. It's not perfect, but it's darn sure fun. And the staff will be as kind to you as you are them!

We come here…read moreoften and enjoy the live bands, but the bar itself is in terrible shape and has been neglected for a long time. When it rains, there are beer buckets everywhere trying to catch water pouring in from the ceiling. There are puddles all over the floor and parts of the ceiling look like they could cave in at any time. It feels extremely unsafe for customers and staff. Every weekend they bring in bands, but there is never enough seating. People are forced to stand and hover over others who are seated because there simply aren't enough tables. Adding more high-top tables would help tremendously. The tables, chairs, and bar stools that are there are in awful condition--many are broken, wobbly, and the cushions are completely worn out or missing. The overall cleanliness is also a problem. The bar needs a serious deep cleaning. There are cobwebs hanging from signs inside, exposed electrical wires in places, and the clear drinking glasses are not always properly cleaned. I've personally received drinks in glasses that still had lipstick marks on them. The bathrooms are another issue. The stall doors don't close properly and several toilet seats are loose. They are clearly overdue for repairs and updating. The only bright spot is the wait staff--they are friendly and do their best. But it's frustrating that you almost never see the owners around addressing any of these problems. With the amount of business this place gets on weekends, it's disappointing that basic maintenance, safety, and cleanliness seem to be ignored. This place has potential, but right now it feels poorly maintained and unsafe.
