The Old Fashioned was prepared exactly right, especially with my request for lighter bitters since I do not enjoy it overly sweet. Many places miss that balance, but they nailed it here. The charcuterie board was easily one of the best I have had. The mozzarella and white cheddar were perfectly portioned, fresh, and rich. The green apple slices tasted incredibly fresh, like they had just been picked from the orchards of Apple Hill in California. The honeycomb was a first for me on a board and made the experience especially memorable. The artwork throughout the space also adds a unique character that I always appreciate in a restaurant. The prosciutto was a little tough but still had good flavor, while the Calabrese was spot on. Service was professional and attentive, with frequent check-ins throughout the evening. My only recommendation would be for servers to introduce themselves, as that small touch makes the experience feel more personal and welcoming rather than simply transactional.

Louder than usual because the Worldcup game was on, England V Croatia . Had two groups of fans from each team, loud at the good stuff, everyone polite and jovial. Really added to the fun atmosphere. A bazillion TVs so everyone has a good view. The waitress was also the barkeep, she did a great job. Tipped appropriately well. Food! The point Yes, awesome yumminess. I got a new try, Brisket Grilled cheese with lightly fried onions and a sweet BBQ sauce, American cheese, on a Hawaiian bread. A great combo that was flavorful. My wife enjoyed the lunch size fish in chips; good cod fish. Generous fries with both. We had unsweetened tea, perfect.

I don't know what happened between visits but he took his bite first, made a face and apologized to us. Then I took a bite. First of all, the truffle flavor was waaaaay too much and tasted artificial (like commercially prepared truffle oil). But the biggest disappointment was the Gnocchi. I would bet a kidney that there was absolutely zero potato in that dense chewy "dumpling " whatsoever. It was hands down the worst Gnocchi I have ever eaten. It tasted and looked like folded over pappardelle with the consistency of super dense pasta. It was so bad my daughter in law asked for something different and I just didn't eat mine. Eventually she got the chicken parm meatball with spaghetti. We all tried a bite. Again, it was okay but I've tasted better at chain restaurants. And I'm Italian so that's saying something. He was super sweet and helped us decide what drinks to get. All of my dogs really enjoyed it too. I didn't ask, but I do wish they had some kind of dog menu so they could enjoy something too. They do have cold water for the dogs though, which was really nice. It was pretty hot when we went, but they had fans going all around, and if you want, they also have indoor seating. Our service also left a lot to be desired. Our waitress, Izzy, made us feel rushed throughout the meal instead of allowing us to enjoy the occasion at our own pace. After we got home, I spoke with Isaac, the manager, about our experience. He was professional, understanding, and genuinely took the time to address our concerns. His excellent customer service made a significant difference, and we truly appreciated the way he handled the situation. Although our initial experience was disappointing, Isaac's commitment to making things right gave us confidence to give the restaurant another chance. We look forward to our next visit and hope it reflects the level of service we know they're capable of.

Both decent enough for what they were, the latter being helped by the fact it was only $3 a pint. For food, tried the newly opened Zaep Zaep Thai joint. Had the Thai Basil Combo Fried Rice and an order of Spring Rolls. Seriously good stuff! Unexpected quality for a food court! The chef (owner?) also came into the bar to check to see if our food was to our liking. Definitely a nice touch and I wish him much success. Olivia's Scratch Kitchen serving African cuisine was the only other option open. Was a tough decision and hopefully will be back soon to try their offerings! At only 20 years old, the bartender did a great job serving us and was more genuinely personable than many who have done the similar job for years. All-in-all a great impulse decision after The Original Roy Hutchins BBQ line ended up being far too long to wait in!
