I called for an appointment & they were able to accommodate me n 30 minutes. The place was very clean & open. I really like that they use new products (file, etc) on everyone & the tools (clippers, etc) we're all packaged from the autoclave! I got the spa pedicure and it was worth the cost. Do not go here ! THEY WILL THROW RANDOM CHARGES TO YOUR BILL. First things first.. I came in last Sunday for a full set. Not my regular nail shop but I wanted to try different locations and found "Maniyo Nail Spa". Upon walking in I was greeted and sat near the front seats and looked at different nail colors. Not even 2 minutes of being seated.. a lady walks up to me saying "am I ready".. and I haven't even selected yet. I tell her no and she then gives me some time. Finally I'm seated in front of a technician (she was a older woman). I was very specific about my nails from the beginning on what I wanted and didn't want. I asked for sharp almond shape.. not round but leaning more towards a stiletto shape. She failed to do that after I asked her to sharpen them twice. All she did was file them more rounder and rounder. Also my thumb acrylics were larger and more chunky than the rest. Her lack of incompetence was disappointing. She then applied the first nude powder coat onto my acrylics. I asked her long how she has been practicing nails. She replied "for a very long time". The coat looked chunky and round which I clearly stated to her I did not like and for her to file them down so they at least wouldn't look as horrible. She complied and made them look decent but I had to accept the horrible shaping she had done. For the final part of my nails I requested black French tips instead of the regular white. She comes back with nail polish to paint them on. In my years of getting my nails done I have never had a technician hand draw French tips. I've seen technicians use French smile line cutters (search it up it's commonly used within nail shops.. but not at maniyo). She painted them on and they looked uneven. She applied the top coat and put them under the uv light. I was already ready to leave and pay. Initially when I called before my visit they said 45$. When I was being checked out she started adding prices she did not bring to my attention during my process. 5$ extra for taking my previous nails off and 15$ for black gel polish. I DID NOT ASK FOR IT YET THEY PUT IT ON ANYWAY WITHOUT BRINGING ANY PRICING TO MY ATTENTION. If I knew it would be 15$ for gel I would have declined. The people who work front desk are unprofessional and the technician I had was horrible at her job. All the receptionist could say was "I'm sorry". If you're sorry then take off the extra charges you secretly added. This is why I'm never going to other nail shops because you can't live up to the aesthetically better looking places. This place looks average and mediocre. Don't come here !! They don't care about your nails they only care about money !! read more

DO NOT go here. I literally cried and I'm not one to talk bad about any business publicly, especially small ones. But if you wanna leave the nail salon in regret while feeling racially discriminated and with terrible nails, this is the place for you! I was treated nicely when I first walked in but once I sealed the deal and sat on a chair, they start talking bad about you. They even asked what my nationality was, laughed and continued to speak in their language after I commented on how I wanted my nails done. At first they couldn't even get the color right so I changed the design completely for that reason. Then the final product was completely uneven and had crooked lines. There's also a lot of bubbles after curing the polish. Never have I ever felt so uncomfortable while getting my nails done and never have I ever been so disappointed from a service. read more
