For what it's worth it was a pretty decent tasting stop. I've heard about it for years from people and while on an emergency errand decided to stop by and give it a go. The place itself is quite small with no waiting room with only one host in the front to I assume seat those for dine in and take orders and one self serve kiosk. There was a massive crowd outside which while shows some appeal was hard to enjoy given it moved into the walkway so you huddle like penguins to give people the most space walking. While the desserts looked cool for the price I was spinning so I ordered a strawberry guava iced tea (WITH LIGHT ICE) that was a preposterous 9.50 for one size that's a standard boba size. While the order came out in like 5 ish min which was nice and the taste was clean with nice inclusion of real fruit pieces they didn't even skimp on the ice like I asked and the drink was 60% ish of ice alone. I love a good boba and while I'd perhaps come back for the food and maybe another drink I wouldn't put this in my rotation for those 3 things alone. I can only review this place for the ube mille crepe cake which I devoured after taking the first bite! I was in the Ala Moana mall on my way to the gelato place on the first floor when I got distracted by the menu here. I know this location has been open for a while, but this is my first visit. I've been to other locations, just not this one yet, but my coworkers asked me to pick up. The store is located on the fourth floor nearest to Bloomingdale's. The staff was fairly nice and helpful, but the store itself seemed very cluttered and messy. The workers were taking orders from the same side of the counter that I was on, because behind the counter was occupied by a bunch of boxes. Not really an appealing sight for guests ordering Togo or dining in. They made the drinks fairly quickly. I waited less the 5 minutes which was great. Next was the Brown Sugar Longan Dates Healthy Scented Tea. This was decent. Lightly sweetened with brown sugar with a hint of longan and date. It's hard to distinguish each flavor since it's all in liquid form, but still a soothing tea. The scoop of ice cream would've been the perfect topping, but my scoop ended up being a little icier than expected (think freezer burn-like consistency). For drinks, we ordered: - Cheese foam pineapple tea with sago - Milk tea with boba - Lime green tea - Coconut pineapple smoothie I was pretty impressed with the quality of their drinks, especially their milk tea.
