4.5 stars. I had the man-coco sticky smoothie. It comes with a scoop of coconut ice cream on top. I feel like that made this smoothie just perfect. Sort of a drink and a snack in one. They use fresh mangoes to make the smoothie. And have a scoop of sticky rice sitting on the bottom. I wish they had added a little more coconut milk or some kind of liquid to loosen up the sticky rice a bit to make it easier to drink. Sucking that up was a quite difficult. I recommend using your straw to poke at it for a bit to break it up before trying to suck it out. Aside from that this drink was perfect. It was everything I was hoping for. Exactly what you would imagine drinking this yummy dessert is like. I tried to use the app to order but it wasn't working so I used the kiosk at the counter. Worked fine. I had just signed up for an account right before i got intk line. My number didn't work when I tried to sign in at the kiosk to earn points. Perhaps there is a delay. Drink came out pretty quickly. Inside has some Milk and Mocha (whom I love) decor at the tables. They have a few tables in the store for you to enjoy your desserts. Staff appear friendly. The desserts looked really good but I didn't want to spoil my dinner so just the drink for me. I'll be back.
Located on the third level of the Ala Moana mall, Mango Mango boasts HK-style desserts. There's plenty of tables and you can order either at the kiosk or at the register. Ordered their mango sticky rice and their mango sago dish. The mango sticky rice could be improved with more condensed milk, and if the rice was a bit warmer so it'd be more malleable and decadent. Some of the mango pieces are hit or miss. Sago was fine but needed a stronger presence.
Service 1/5 The two staff members were chatty with each other and unwelcoming to any customers, not even giving a glance. Ambiance 2/5 Even on a hot day, it was actually freezing inside the shop. We sat outside instead. The place looked a little unwelcoming to sit in and it was not clean with the trashcan overflowing. Makes me wonder how clean their kitchen is. Food 4/5 In comparison to Hui Lau Shan, it's not up there but it did hit the spot. Overall enjoyed my mango/pomelo/sago.
The mango sticky rice is so creamy and the rice has a perfect texture. The peach berry freeze with crystal jelly is also very delicious. Staff is very helpful when ordering drinks, they also have good recommendations. The tables are usually always clean and the seats are comfortable.
We thought of trying after exploring the mall. Food was not to our taste and we didn't get to go back to try other items. The boba in our drink was a bit hard and not chewy. Service was fast and staff members were nice and friendly. Place was organized and clean.
Their drinks are very good and high quality! They use real fruit and real milk in their drinks. You can choose whole or oat milk. Ambiance is nice as you get to sit on tables and the location is so convenient! Definitely a must try. I heard their cakes are really good as well, and service is fast.
I was craving mangoes so badly, so I decided to try Mango Mango Dessert at Ala Moana, and it did not disappoint. It can be surprisingly hard to find really good mango drinks and treats in Hawaii when it's not mango season, so this place was exactly what I was looking for. My boyfriend ordered the mango strawberry smoothie, and I got the special mango juice smoothie with added rice balls because I was craving something similar to mango sticky rice. I was a little hesitant at first because the special mango juice smoothie comes with sago, which I had never tried before, but it ended up being delicious. The smoothie was fresh, sweet, and incredibly refreshing. The rice balls were the perfect addition and completely satisfied my mango sticky rice craving. The staff were super kind and patient, answering all of our questions and helping us decide what to order. There is also plenty of seating both inside and outside, making it a great place to sit and enjoy your dessert. I loved it so much that we went back twice in one week. If you love mango, this spot is definitely worth a visit!
Delicious. Price was reasonable. The seating inside is small but there is more seating outside. Service is fast.
Mango Mango so nice they named it twice! This place offers so many light and refreshing desserts with mango as its star ingredient! I've been here a few times with my family and I never regret it. It's an average size shop for a mall and it's always clean with helpful employees. It's such a fun, light and fruity treat in comparison to heavier options offered. Give your gut a rest from all things fried and dive into the joy that is Mango Mango.
You have to come here if you love Mango. Their drinks are great. It is really as good as the one we had in Hong Kong and Thailand. Services are amazing, I don't know how they can be that fast. I think my drinks are ready in less then a min. The place is small, but it is still very good spot to have a short break from all the shopping and walking. Highly recommended for mango lover.
I love coming here for their mango stick rice smoothie! They give a generous amount of sticky rice so I taste it with every sip of the drink and it's not too sweet too. The coconut ice cream inside the drink is also very good - doesn't have that artificial coconut flavor at all. The store is kept really clean and they have a good amount of seating inside. You can order with the workers, on their kiosk, or online so very convenient and the drinks/desserts come out very quick.
As a kid, I used to subscribe to the notion that there's always room for dessert. Sadly, though, despite how the cravings for dessert were still just as strong, our appetite just didn't feel like it could keep up. Either that or our stomachs were still ridiculously full from the heavy lunch we had just finished. However, in defense of our poor planning, we weren't expecting to come across a Mango Mango either! Otherwise, if we did, we definitely saved room to come here! With locations sprinkled throughout the US, yet somehow without a single one in California, my gf had heard about Mango Mango several times from some of her friends in New York. So, when we happened to stumble across this one on the third floor of Ala Moana, we almost felt compelled to stop in. Inside, the place isn't all that large, but the decor is cute and makes for a perfect spot to take a cool break from your retail shopping adventures. As for the menu, unsurprisingly, mangos are the name of the game here, but there's plenty of variety and alternatives to choose from among their many smoothies, fruit teas, milk tea, hot teas, desserts, pastries, sundaes, and waffles. Since there weren't any seats/tables available inside, we opted to just get a drink and settled on their COCONUT MANGO SMOOTHIE-O ($7.95) with Pomelo (+$2) to share. Now, I don't know if it was due to the taste and/or acidity of the pomelo, but the taste of mango in this wasn't as strong as I thought it would've been, especially given how the drink looked. That said, it still had a decent punch of mango to it (they also sprinkle some pieces of it on top) and I liked how well the coconut and the slight tartness of the pomelo worked together. Plus, I loved how deliciously smooth and creamy this was, which felt so cool and refreshing on such a warm day. So good! As much as I enjoyed our smoothie, I will said it also only made me feel that much worse for not getting a second drink to try. Even as we were punching in our order at their kiosk, part of me was second-guessing whether to just get one. Ugh...this is what we get for trying to be sensible while on vacation! I guess we'll just have to make a point of coming back again so that we can correct our terrible mistake and also try one of Mango Mango's desserts. How awful... /sarcasm FOUR AND A HALF STARS rounded down for now.
The service could definitely use some improvement. The girl at the counter wasn't very welcoming, and customer service makes a big difference in the overall experience. Cleanliness is another area that needs attention. The order window had an overflowing cart of trash and dirty dishes, which wasn't a good first impression. A clean, sanitary environment is important, and if the front looks messy/dirty, it makes you wonder what the kitchen looks like. That said, I still keep coming back because the mango sticky rice is one of my favorites. It's hit or miss depending on who makes it, but when it's good, it's worth the drive to satisfy my craving. I just hope they improve the customer service and keep the place cleaner.

I always love dessert places Mango crepe cake: this is the one I ordered and this is when I learned I dont like crepe cakes (as a crepe lover). Not enough ice cream, not sweet enough and crepe is soggy. Still very pretty. Sago ice cream: i didnt get to try this very much (fam ate it) Extra It is very hot and crowded so just have that in mind Water costs 25 cents There is outside dining There is self order (by machine) Cute atmosphere 4/5 read more

Located in Ala Moana center is Mango Mango Dessert that servers up some tasty smoothies! ***What I ordered ~ **Mango & Strawberry Smoothie (8/10) ~ The mango tasted amazing! It was really fresh and sweet, while the strawberry kind of tasted a little watery. And on the bottom is this clear jelly that didn't taste like anything. Everything mixed together wasn't bad. However, I wished I just got the Mango smoothie by itself. Overall, I would not mind coming back to try the mango smoothie by itself! It's not bad! read more
I ordered a fruit tea to sip on while I did my window shopping. I ordered the sugar at 25% and it was perfect for me, not too sweet! The added fruits were fresh and a delicious treat when I finished my drink! I'm excited to try their other menu items! read more

We were greeted as soon as we entered, and the service was incredibly fast. I placed my order at the self-ordering kiosk, and by the time we sat down, the dessert had already arrived. I ordered the strawberry mango juice sago & lychee jelly with mango ice cream. It was very refreshing and light. However, the mango ice cream was super frozen, making it difficult to eat. The dessert was also overfilled in the cup, which can be a good thing, but it led to a bit of a mess (that was my fault). read more

Red bean was very well made! Mangoes were so fresh! Honestly one of the best dessert places. Pretty popular so you might have to wait for a seat. read more
You don't have to be mango a lover to try their dessert. What I meant to say is that they have other desserts aside from mango desserts. Perhaps this is why it took me so long to try this place. My friend and I tried their coco millie crepe cake and warm sesame pudding with mochi. I'm not a big fan of overly sweet dessert. If I enjoy sugary desserts, I would just go home and eat a bowl of sugar. Coco millie crepe was made with many layers of cake with very light chocolate like flavor. The sesame pudding was nice and warm and perfect dessert for cool evening. $7 for crepe cake and $10 for the sesame pudding. You can order using their Ipad like screen and pay with your credit card. The staff will deliver your dessert to your table. I do want to try some of their mango dessert next time. They have an extensive dessert items. read more

Great for a sweet treat after work or a day at the mall! This coconut ice cream sundae was a 10/10. Came with watermelon balls, fresh mango, and strawberries for under $10. I was so sad they closed the one in Kapahulu so I have to do my duty and stop by every now and then so they never close the Ala Moana store read more
This was a spontaneous meeting place for dessert on a Monday night. After finishing an early dinner on Kapahulu, we got here shortly after 8 pm. One of the first few things that struck me was how bright it was, giving me a cheerful and happy feeling walking in. The other was the cute design and how roomy the seating area is (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=jNN0Ok4ZycqQ65AdjAY12g&userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q). After a substantial dinner, I leaned towards a drink instead of a full dessert. Seeing the sign outside listing their most popular items (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=7ClL7-QAevdiqrReHVr9Dw&userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q), I tried the Mango smoothie-o (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=FiRyr0Dasp4c55sRgIzpSw&userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q); the multi colored layers made me wonder whether to maneuver my straw in drinking the different ingredients or mix them together. I enjoyed it as the flavors were nice and tropical (strawberry not so much). My friends had a variety of cake slice and ice cream. We were engrossed in catching up with each other so I didn't get an opinion on what they ate. This turned out to be the perfect meeting spot especially since they didn't close till 9 pm... needless to say, we closed them down that night. Being in the mall, parking was not a worry as we just took the escalators to the next level after parking on the upper parking level. My only comment was that, when arriving and being there for the 1st time, the two staff members could be more welcoming (guy behind the counter and gal who was walking the dining area). The guy who greeted us as we left was extremely friendly. I would return but hope that our experience is warmer next time. read more

Heard rave reviews about this place so we walked all over Ala moana and finally found it on the third floor near Bloomingdale's. We tried the mango strawberry, green tea creme brulee and mango sticky rice smoothie. The mango sticky rice was like having a Thai mango sticky rice dessert and delicious! The green tea drink was subtly sweet and refreshing. The mango strawberry had chunks of mango and strawberry in it which was great! We loved all our drinks but the prices are quite expensive for bubble tea and desserts. Another friend tried the Oreo cake which cost $13! It was a light flaky cake with Oreo crumbles. Though it was good idk if it was worth the cost. read more
I've passed by often to notice crowds of people solo and in groups enjoying beverages and desserts. Ambience is filled with white and grey accent tables. There are two separate POS - worker helping customers if paying with cash or need assistance with orders and another one for customers paying with credit or debit cards and decided on their orders in advance. Server brought A1 w/ Herbal Jelly in a few minutes to the table. Dessert filled with diced mango, mango juice, scoop of mango ice cream, pomelo with sago provided sweetness. Herbal jelly counteracted and balanced sweetness by taking it down a notch. Didn't expect garnish of red ginger. Refreshing dessert. read more

We were at the mall and I wanted a drink and a place with air conditioning to rest for a bit. We came here and ordered Thai bubble milk tea (less ice, half sugar), signature bubble milk tea (less ice, half sugar), watermelon smoothie-o, and mango smoothie-o. The drinks did take a while to be made and the store wasn't even busy. Out of all of the drinks, I only liked the Thai milk tea and the watermelon smoothie-o. Both drinks had the best flavors and it was perfectly sweet. However, the boba was bland. As for the signature milk tea, the drink was bitter and barely had any sweet flavor to it. For a store that specializes in mango, the mango smoothie-o was a disappointment. The drink wasn't sweet and it was served lukewarm. read more
Cute little cafe/dessert shop in Ala Manoa. Has outdoor and indoor seating and can get pretty busy at times. When it isn't busy, I feel like it could be a good spot to come in and do work in the corner like how you would in a coffee shop. I came by here one night slightly towards closing hours as we all need a little sweet treat. We ordered the mango pancake and the snow white mango sago dessert. I have been here previously as well and these are all the things I've tried: - Mango Crepe Cake: Delicious, nothing special if you've had a mango crepe cake before but it was good regardless. - Oreo Milkshake?: I don't remember the specifics of this item but I tried it during my last visit a while back and I just really disliked it. Wish I could remember why but I didn't drink it and neither did the person who I was with. - Snow White Mango Juice Sago & Pomelo and Mango Ice Cream: Ordered this my last and most recent visit as well. It is a light and refreshing yet creamy dessert. The tartness of the pomelo helps cut through the sweetness of the overall dessert and there is a good mix of various textures as well. - Mango Pancake: Very delicious, super decadent and creamy. It has mango and filled with whipped cream wrapped in the yellow crepe (likely the same one they use for the crepe cakes). It was good and fluffy, however I just wished there was slightly more mango in it, as it was majority whipped cream. The packaging is also very cute, the little box the pancakes came made me tempted to keep it and their to go bags are very nicely designed as well. Overall it is a nice little dessert shop and I would recommend if you really like mango or some of the pretty unique items on the menu. It is on the slight pricier sides of desserts though but honestly all desserts are expensive nowadays. read more
After dinner at Ala Moana, my family was craving something slightly sweet, so we decided to try Mango Mango Dessert. Ube layered cake - 5 stars - it's a bit expensive, but compared to the upper scale bakeries it's about the same price. The cake was creamy, dense and not too sweet, it's a good flavored touch to satisfy your dessert craving. These cakes are great to give for a birthday treat since it is nicely designed and fitted in a white box. Durian layered cake - 4 stars - more because it was different and not my taste. Ube Smoothie - 5 stars - my son ordered this, and I had a taste of it. It tasted heavy, and was blended well with the cream. My son loved it, and I would order this for myself again. Service - very friendly staff, and even if the website may say only eat in, we could take out. Each piece was placed in a dainty white box. Parking - it's on the second floor of Ala Moana, so lots of parking. read more

My daughter and I came here for drinks and I decided to get a dessert. Why not try the mango dessert with mango ice cream? This was delicious. Filled with mango pieces and mango ice cream and a mango puree with tapioca pearls inside. The pearls were small and clear. The mango was sweet and good as well as the mango ice cream. I got the Passion fruit green tea and I loved that I could taste the green tea more. I like the taste together. This was refreshing. I ordered our drinks and dessert via the kiosk because it takes card. There's a separate line for cash. The lady was nice enough to help me with the kiosk payment. I also ordered a matcha green smoothie with red bean and boba for my daughter. She enjoyed this. The dessert and my drink were very good. I highly recommend this place if you want a drink or dessert. I would definitely come back for more. read more

Came here on a weekend evening and it wasn't too quickly. They have a tablet to order from so I was quickly able to make my selection, and didn't have to wait long for my order to be ready (2 minutes). I had the Mango with Riceballs and Ice Cream. It was very delicious, with the mango being perfectly sweet and going well with the riceballs. I really liked the store design, the fast service, and the dessert but I did feel it was a bit expensive for the size. But I really enjoyed tasting it and I recommend coming here if you're in the area. read more

We ordered the strawberry mango juice Sago and lychee jelly with mango ice cream with rice ball fruit topping. This was so delicious on a nice warm day. I thought it was going to be overly sweet, but it wasn't. Adding the rice balls gave it a nice texture. The fresh fruit was ripe and not sour. The mango smoothie-o was a little sweet for our liking, but it had the most delicious mango taste to it. We ordered on a kiosk and the service for our dessert and drink was probably under 5 minutes. It was quicker than I thought it would be. The size of the store was surprisingly bigger than I thought. It has the vibes of a low-key basic boba shop, but very mellow. I also appreciate how they also offer outdoor seating right outside their store. read more
I know this location has been open for a while, but this is my first visit. I've been to other locations, just not this one yet, but my coworkers asked me to pick up. The store is located on the fourth floor nearest to Bloomingdale's. The staff was fairly nice and helpful, but the store itself seemed very cluttered and messy. The workers were taking orders from the same side of the counter that I was on, because behind the counter was occupied by a bunch of boxes. Not really an appealing sight for guests ordering Togo or dining in. They made the drinks fairly quickly. I waited less the 5 minutes which was great. It wasn't too crowded, as I visited around 7:30pm. I tried the D3 which was a Mango Strawberry smoothie mix, 2 of my favorites. The drinks are always enjoyable and they have a wide menu to please different taste buds. read more

Must try! Great variety on the menu. The strawberry, mango, and lychee jelly dessert is very refreshing. The green tea cake is strong in flavor if you enjoy matcha green tea. Very good and light, similar to a tiramisu. I would come back again! Visiting in from CA. read more
Fresh ingredients and refreshing drinks :) We walked by here after eating lunch and we were full, but my husband and I saw the picture of the mango strawberry and it looked so enticing, we had to buy it even though we were stuffed LOL Service was quick and friendly, and the interior was bright and inviting. They even had seating outside! MANGO STRAWBERRY DRINK: not only is it pretty, but it was so refreshing and delicious! The flavors were from real fresh ingredients - no artificial tasting drinks here! It was really the perfect dessert on a hot day I saw they also had crepe Mille cakes and shaved ice type desserts, but we were already pushing our stomach capacity with the drink after a huge lunch lol We will definitely be back to try other items! (And to get the mango strawberry drink again) read more

Located on the top floor of a la Moana. Tasty fresh mango desserts including house made Mille crepes: rich and light, yum. Mango sago was fresh and sweet, but ice cream tasted overly sweet/artificial for me. TLDR: would come if you're nearby, but not necessarily make a trek over. read more

This dessert place is located on the first level of Ala Moana Center. We ordered a mango ice cream topped with mango and strawberry pieces. Unfortunately, the desserts are quite pricey and lacked flavor. The strawberries weren't sweet, and the mango pieces were sour. The mango ice cream itself was just okay. For $10, I didn't find the dessert enjoyable at all. The service was fast, but even though you place the order yourself (self-service), they still expect tips. read more
Mango Mango. With a name like that, I probably should have gotten something mango! Next time! I've never heard of this place as I'm not into these fruity, milk bubble teas, and desserts. Apparently it is popular since you hear about it, and it's quite busy the two times I went. This Mango Mango Dessert is located in the third level of Ala Moana--Nordstrom side--by the entrance to Bloomingdale's. There's indoor and outdoor seating. Not sure why and how, but there two Yelp business pages for this place, and it looks like the business claimed this one even though the other one has more reviews. Hello Yelp, combine them!? (And H Mart and H Mart Pearl City!!) Anyway, we heard Mango Mango offers Mooncake for Mid-Autumn Festival. It was $58 for EIGHT Mooncake of four flavors, which isn't too bad. Plus a nice box and presentation. We got a few as gifts (and did not get for ourselves, so cannot comment on the taste!). I figured they're fruity and sweet. We asked if they were baked in store, and they are actually shipped in from New York. Since we were here, why not get some drinks? I got the Green Tea Smoothie with Red Bean and Black Rice. It was the rice that drew me. This was pretty good. Solid green tea taste. Good consistency, and not too sweet. The rice and red bean were soft and added its own texture and taste. Next was the Brown Sugar Longan Dates Healthy Scented Tea. This was decent. Lightly sweetened with brown sugar with a hint of longan and date. It's hard to distinguish each flavor since it's all in liquid form, but still a soothing tea. I think I'll try some mango drink next since you know they use fresh Philippine Mangoes from the stacks of mango boxes along the wall. I wish they would use Pirie! And probably try a Mooncake too. Perhaps I'll ask our giftees if they have any left. Overall, the drinks weren't bad. Staff was friendly, helpful, and efficient. Menu has a nice variety of dessert items. read more

The matcha doesn't taste authentic nor taste anything from good. It feels like store bought and not really made fresh or at least made by themselves. The place looks like a cute cafe which makes it the redeeming quality. read more

If you love mangos and love Asian desserts, you must check out Mango Mango Dessert! Their menu is huge, ranging from hot desserts, cakes, classic desserts, crepes, waffles, and drinks. They do have some non-mango options to choose from, but I highly recommend trying out their mango desserts. They use sweet, ripe mangoes unlike some dessert places I've tried where their mangos weren't ready to be eaten. We ordered several different desserts to try: - Mango juice rice ball with ice cream - Black sesame paste soup with rice ball - Mango pancake Of the three we tried, the mango pancake was my favorite. It was a thin layer of crepe filled with whipped cream and fresh mangoes. It was super light and refreshing. This plate comes with two small pancakes, so it's perfect to share with others or to enjoy on your own. The mango juice rice ball was also really refreshing. It tasted like they used fresh mango purée as the juice base as it didn't taste artificially sweetened. The rice balls were the perfect consistency and paired well with the fresh chunks of mangoes. The scoop of ice cream would've been the perfect topping, but my scoop ended up being a little icier than expected (think freezer burn-like consistency). For drinks, we ordered: - Cheese foam pineapple tea with sago - Milk tea with boba - Lime green tea - Coconut pineapple smoothie I was pretty impressed with the quality of their drinks, especially their milk tea. It was pretty strong, but not too strong like a typical HK milk tea. Their boba was super tender and flavorful. My cheese foam pineapple tea was delicious. You could really taste the pineapple! I think it could've used less cheese foam as most of my cup seemed to be filled with it, but it did pair perfectly with the tea. It's pretty uncommon for me to find sago as a drink topping, so I had to order. This place has easily turned into one of my family's favorite dessert places. We will definitely be back! read more
