4.5 stars. I had the man-coco sticky smoothie. It comes with a scoop of coconut ice cream on top. I feel like that made this smoothie just perfect. Sort of a drink and a snack in one. They use fresh mangoes to make the smoothie. And have a scoop of sticky rice sitting on the bottom. I wish they had added a little more coconut milk or some kind of liquid to loosen up the sticky rice a bit to make it easier to drink. Sucking that up was a quite difficult. I recommend using your straw to poke at it for a bit to break it up before trying to suck it out. Aside from that this drink was perfect. It was everything I was hoping for. Exactly what you would imagine drinking this yummy dessert is like. I tried to use the app to order but it wasn't working so I used the kiosk at the counter. Worked fine. I had just signed up for an account right before i got intk line. My number didn't work when I tried to sign in at the kiosk to earn points. Perhaps there is a delay. Drink came out pretty quickly. Inside has some Milk and Mocha (whom I love) decor at the tables. They have a few tables in the store for you to enjoy your desserts. Staff appear friendly. The desserts looked really good but I didn't want to spoil my dinner so just the drink for me. I'll be back.
Service was friendly, ordering at the front was easy. The mango mille crepe cake was soft, with beautiful layers of whipped cream (not reddi whip) sandwiched between each crepe, the mango coulis was not too sweet, and the mango chunks were perfectly ripe. 10/10 would get this again.
Located on the third level of the Ala Moana mall, Mango Mango boasts HK-style desserts. There's plenty of tables and you can order either at the kiosk or at the register. Ordered their mango sticky rice and their mango sago dish. The mango sticky rice could be improved with more condensed milk, and if the rice was a bit warmer so it'd be more malleable and decadent. Some of the mango pieces are hit or miss. Sago was fine but needed a stronger presence.
Service 1/5 The two staff members were chatty with each other and unwelcoming to any customers, not even giving a glance. Ambiance 2/5 Even on a hot day, it was actually freezing inside the shop. We sat outside instead. The place looked a little unwelcoming to sit in and it was not clean with the trashcan overflowing. Makes me wonder how clean their kitchen is. Food 4/5 In comparison to Hui Lau Shan, it's not up there but it did hit the spot. Overall enjoyed my mango/pomelo/sago.
The mango sticky rice is so creamy and the rice has a perfect texture. The peach berry freeze with crystal jelly is also very delicious. Staff is very helpful when ordering drinks, they also have good recommendations. The tables are usually always clean and the seats are comfortable.
We thought of trying after exploring the mall. Food was not to our taste and we didn't get to go back to try other items. The boba in our drink was a bit hard and not chewy. Service was fast and staff members were nice and friendly. Place was organized and clean.
Their drinks are very good and high quality! They use real fruit and real milk in their drinks. You can choose whole or oat milk. Ambiance is nice as you get to sit on tables and the location is so convenient! Definitely a must try. I heard their cakes are really good as well, and service is fast.
I was craving mangoes so badly, so I decided to try Mango Mango Dessert at Ala Moana, and it did not disappoint. It can be surprisingly hard to find really good mango drinks and treats in Hawaii when it's not mango season, so this place was exactly what I was looking for. My boyfriend ordered the mango strawberry smoothie, and I got the special mango juice smoothie with added rice balls because I was craving something similar to mango sticky rice. I was a little hesitant at first because the special mango juice smoothie comes with sago, which I had never tried before, but it ended up being delicious. The smoothie was fresh, sweet, and incredibly refreshing. The rice balls were the perfect addition and completely satisfied my mango sticky rice craving. The staff were super kind and patient, answering all of our questions and helping us decide what to order. There is also plenty of seating both inside and outside, making it a great place to sit and enjoy your dessert. I loved it so much that we went back twice in one week. If you love mango, this spot is definitely worth a visit!
Mango Mango so nice they named it twice! This place offers so many light and refreshing desserts with mango as its star ingredient! I've been here a few times with my family and I never regret it. It's an average size shop for a mall and it's always clean with helpful employees. It's such a fun, light and fruity treat in comparison to heavier options offered. Give your gut a rest from all things fried and dive into the joy that is Mango Mango.

You have to come here if you love Mango. Their drinks are great. It is really as good as the one we had in Hong Kong and Thailand. Services are amazing, I don't know how they can be that fast. I think my drinks are ready in less then a min. The place is small, but it is still very good spot to have a short break from all the shopping and walking. Highly recommended for mango lover.
As a kid, I used to subscribe to the notion that there's always room for dessert. Sadly, though, despite how the cravings for dessert were still just as strong, our appetite just didn't feel like it could keep up. Either that or our stomachs were still ridiculously full from the heavy lunch we had just finished. However, in defense of our poor planning, we weren't expecting to come across a Mango Mango either! Otherwise, if we did, we definitely saved room to come here! With locations sprinkled throughout the US, yet somehow without a single one in California, my gf had heard about Mango Mango several times from some of her friends in New York. So, when we happened to stumble across this one on the third floor of Ala Moana, we almost felt compelled to stop in. Inside, the place isn't all that large, but the decor is cute and makes for a perfect spot to take a cool break from your retail shopping adventures. As for the menu, unsurprisingly, mangos are the name of the game here, but there's plenty of variety and alternatives to choose from among their many smoothies, fruit teas, milk tea, hot teas, desserts, pastries, sundaes, and waffles. Since there weren't any seats/tables available inside, we opted to just get a drink and settled on their COCONUT MANGO SMOOTHIE-O ($7.95) with Pomelo (+$2) to share. Now, I don't know if it was due to the taste and/or acidity of the pomelo, but the taste of mango in this wasn't as strong as I thought it would've been, especially given how the drink looked. That said, it still had a decent punch of mango to it (they also sprinkle some pieces of it on top) and I liked how well the coconut and the slight tartness of the pomelo worked together. Plus, I loved how deliciously smooth and creamy this was, which felt so cool and refreshing on such a warm day. So good! As much as I enjoyed our smoothie, I will said it also only made me feel that much worse for not getting a second drink to try. Even as we were punching in our order at their kiosk, part of me was second-guessing whether to just get one. Ugh...this is what we get for trying to be sensible while on vacation! I guess we'll just have to make a point of coming back again so that we can correct our terrible mistake and also try one of Mango Mango's desserts. How awful... /sarcasm FOUR AND A HALF STARS rounded down for now.
I love coming here for their mango stick rice smoothie! They give a generous amount of sticky rice so I taste it with every sip of the drink and it's not too sweet too. The coconut ice cream inside the drink is also very good - doesn't have that artificial coconut flavor at all. The store is kept really clean and they have a good amount of seating inside. You can order with the workers, on their kiosk, or online so very convenient and the drinks/desserts come out very quick.
If you love mangos and love Asian desserts, you must check out Mango Mango Dessert! Their menu is huge, ranging from hot desserts, cakes, classic desserts, crepes, waffles, and drinks. They do have some non-mango options to choose from, but I highly recommend trying out their mango desserts. They use sweet, ripe mangoes unlike some dessert places I've tried where their mangos weren't ready to be eaten. We ordered several different desserts to try: - Mango juice rice ball with ice cream - Black sesame paste soup with rice ball - Mango pancake Of the three we tried, the mango pancake was my favorite. It was a thin layer of crepe filled with whipped cream and fresh mangoes. It was super light and refreshing. This plate comes with two small pancakes, so it's perfect to share with others or to enjoy on your own. The mango juice rice ball was also really refreshing. It tasted like they used fresh mango purée as the juice base as it didn't taste artificially sweetened. The rice balls were the perfect consistency and paired well with the fresh chunks of mangoes. The scoop of ice cream would've been the perfect topping, but my scoop ended up being a little icier than expected (think freezer burn-like consistency). For drinks, we ordered: - Cheese foam pineapple tea with sago - Milk tea with boba - Lime green tea - Coconut pineapple smoothie I was pretty impressed with the quality of their drinks, especially their milk tea. It was pretty strong, but not too strong like a typical HK milk tea. Their boba was super tender and flavorful. My cheese foam pineapple tea was delicious. You could really taste the pineapple! I think it could've used less cheese foam as most of my cup seemed to be filled with it, but it did pair perfectly with the tea. It's pretty uncommon for me to find sago as a drink topping, so I had to order. This place has easily turned into one of my family's favorite dessert places. We will definitely be back! read more
Our friend from mainland offered us to treat dessert here. Been here couple times and t'was okay. They got pretty yummy desserts here and I won't mind keep coming here. This time I got the mango mille crepe cake. I love how creamy but nit that sweet this crepe cake is. I like how it's easy to cut using fork without falling apart. The cake was meticulously prepared good and right. It looks so beautiful and the texture is so appealing! I highly recommend you to try this and I assure you will never get disappointed! Customer service is okay, not the friendliest. Price is not cheap. Clean environment and they got available seating both inside and outside. I heard a lot about this new dessert place opening up in Ala Moana shopping center. Definitely wanted to try it out with my daughter who loves desserts! After picking her up from school, we proceeded to mango mango dessert. Place was busy and there was a short line but not too crowded for the time of day. We opted to eat outside where they were tables and chairs present as there was no seating indoors. It was a little messy outside as it looks like someone dropped their dessert on the floor but didn't clean it up. Ordering is quick and easy. Menus are provided at the front which have prices and pictures of all the items. Ultimately we decided on the mango strawberry smoothie and the special mango dessert. Both items tasted very fresh, not overly sweet but just tasted like real fruit. Nice choice for a small refreshing treat after school. Prices are a bit pricey and the items are actually smaller than appear in the picture so just keep that in mind. read more
Decided to check out Mango Mango on the recommendations of a few friends after a heavy meal at Gen's. Not too many other dessert spots were open by the time we finished dinner and we wanted something lighter than milk tea that would refresh us. And I gotta say Mango Mango was very impressive. I asked the employee what her recommendations were for drinks since it was our first time there. She suggested mango smoothie or the mango/strawberry combo. Both looked good but I gotta be in the mood for mango nowadays. Drinks were mid-range for price and the size of the cup is good! Check out their reusable cups if you stop by, they're so cute! The smoothie was everything I wanted it to be - refreshing, cool, and creamy from the coconut. It was a bit in the icey side but I stirred it enough to incorporate the coconut cream throughout. One of the best fruit based drinks I've had in a while :) The employee was super nice and brought out drinks out on a cardboard container - but we returned it to her since we could hold our own beverages. No need waste kine - Y'know? We didn't have a chance to try their desserts and my friend who bought a matcha crepe cake said his niece at it and couldn't provide me with a review haha. I tried the mango coconut smoothie and comes with jelly and it. I thought it was a nice refreshing drink on a hot day and has good mango flavor. I would only say that the smoothie is a bit small And not really a sharible size. It is a little bit on the pricier side as well but overall I still thought that it was a yummy drink. It's a good option to grab while you're walking throughout the mall. read more
It was pretty. I enjoyed how the ube frappucino was not too sweet at all. It almost tasted a little bland yet not really because you could really taste the ube and it tasted more savory rather than sweet. The man-coco sticky rice had a very strong mango taste and came with a generous serving of sticky rice in it. I think the drinks here are a lot more savory rather than sweet. The sticky rice actually works in this drink and the tanginess of the mango mixed in with the sticky rice made it really good. I honestly think the ice cream scoop in this drink was a bit unnecessary since all it really did was get in the way but I guess you're supposed to mix it (?) The dine-in area was beautiful, but they messed up our order so that was kind of a bummer. Service is not the greatest and the drinks are nothing I would go out of my way to crave for, but it is definitely a great place to try out if you want to go for a cool hangout with friends. read more
When Mango Mango Dessert (MMD) opened their first store on Oahu at Pearlridge in December 2021, I was anxious to give them a try but I don't venture to that area. But then when they opened this second location at Ala Moana Center in late-March 2022, I was ecstatic as it's closer to me. The grand opening specials created long lines so I decided to wait a bit to try them. Originally hailing from New York City Chinatown, MMD is a Hong Kong themed business offering dessert bowls, smoothies, crepe cakes, variety of drinks and hot desserts. MMD is located on the 3rd floor of the east wing of Ala Moana Center near Bloomingdale's. I wasn't planning on visiting here after a challenging day at work where in hindsight it was a blessing to leave the office earlier due to a scheduled dental appointment. After my dental appointment, I tried to shake off the negative energy in me with an afternoon hike which did help. I was still not up to par so I tried to cancel meeting some friends who were selected to the Mango Mango YEE but had a change of heart when a good friend came to pick me up at my home. With a hectic day at work I forgot to eat breakfast and lunch so I was quite hungry after the afternoon hike. Some of us arrived earlier than the agreed time so I used the waiting time studying the menu and read some Yelp reviews. As a matcha fan my eyes locked to their matcha crepe cake but tossed that idea. This business boats mango desserts, not matcha. It would be just like ordering chicken at a steakhouse. I ended up ordering A1, which is a special mango juice with sago (tapioca), pink pomelo and mango ice cream. I didn't see any water dispenser here so I inquired with the staff where I was informed water is 15 cents per cup which I also added to my order. I paid and was a given a receipt with an order number. MMD offers both indoor and outdoor seating where we scored a table indoors to enjoy the air conditioning. Within seconds my cup of water was delivered and after several minutes, my dessert bowl came. Overall, my dessert was very refreshing and to no surprise, mangoey. It looked, smelled and surely tasted like fresh mangoes. From where we sat, there were boxes and boxes piled high of fresh mangoes. The mango juice and chunks of mango fruit were so powerful that I didn't taste the pomelo and the ice cream. We were served vanilla ice cream instead of the advertised "mango". I also had several bites of frozen sago and ice crystals where my friend also experienced in her bowl. Service was above average. The staff addressed my questions and I wasn't rushed to order. My order was also delivered with a smile. I found the staff to be very pleasant and courteous. Overall, a positive first experience at MMD but I'm not fully sold. I'm glad I tried them but for me, it's not worth the $10 price tag. I'd love to bring my family here and have them try but don't think this will be a part of my regular rotation. I do understand this is at a prime location but the desserts are pricey in my books. I'm open for another visit here but not anytime soon. read more
Congratulations to Ms. Tina Wang (owner of Tanaka Ramen & Izakaya - Hawai'i) on opening her second franchise location of this Hong Kong-inspired dessert shop at the Ala Moana Center. As regulars to the Ala Moana Center, we've been eyeing the opening of this mango-centric dessert shop on the 3rd floor of Ala Moana Center's Ewa Wing in the former location of famed chocolatier Pierre Marcolini. Luckily, I completed an appointment with my ophthalmologist and had planned to put in more walking steps to meander through the mall when we discovered the staff of Mango Mango Dessert setting up for their Grand Opening this morning. Mango Mango Dessert opened promptly at 11 am, and by the time we strode up to their storefront, a line had formed. We noticed how efficient and organized the service was during their busy opening because while standing in line, someone offered us a menu to take a gander at. After we decided, my husband suggested that I find seating on the outdoor patio even though the COVID mask mandate has been relaxed. While sitting on the deck, I could feel the humidity of the morning and the sun's heat above the outdoor umbrellas and noticed my husband signaling me to come into the shop to dine. Ahhh! This was a much better seating option because the air-conditioning was cool and comfortable even with their front doors left open to allow the line of customers in to either pick up their takeout orders or choose dine-in. My husband mentioned that when he got to the cashier, she told him that dine-in customers could order through their server at their table instead of through her, which is why my husband signaled me to come in to sit. Upon finding a table, a server came by to take our order for the Mango Mango Combo A for $23.75. The Mango Mango Combo A consisted of a bowl of Special Mango Juice, sago, pomelo, and mango ice cream, a bowl of fresh-cut mangoes and black rice in coconut milk, and three stuffed mango mochi. While waiting for our order, a young family seated next to us mentioned the generous Grand Opening BOGO Special for beverages. We then waved down our server and ordered two drinks (Watermelon Smoothie $7.50 & Mango-Strawberry Smoothie). We noticed that all of our desserts tasted of natural fruit. The mango desserts were not sickeningly sweet and tasted of fresh mangoes. Also, the smoothies didn't rely on added sugar or sweetener. My husband's refreshing watermelon smoothie had three fresh watermelon balls with seeds atop, which gave his smoothie more texture. The mango-strawberry smoothie was topped with diced mango and strawberry. We remarked that our bodies felt more enlivened by eating and drinking these servings of fruits. This Grand Opening was one of the few shop openings that we've experienced that was so well-organized and efficient. Their food products were flavorful, and the fresh quality was refreshing. Workers were prompt and very friendly. They asked if it was our first time and if we had any question's. We ended up ordering two of the top suggestions. Reason for the 3 star is because they had storage boxes stacked high cluttered up at the entrance (like you see at L&L, not an establishment in Alamoana), floors were very dirty, register area was cluttered, the area where they receive desserts from kitchen was dirty, the curtain above kitchen window was filthy. Also, the filthy trash can and service cart was right next to our table (arms length). We also witnessed the dessert chefs using bare hands (no gloves) and not once did we see them leave that area to wash hands. Person handling money & customer credit cards etc. is also handling & passing out desserts, spoons & napkins without washing hands. We had already order desserts and paid prior to noticing most of the above. read more
Super excited to welcome our newest place in Ala Moana Center!! Mango Mango Dessert!! This sweet and fun place is more than that delightful fruit as it has and incredible selections of desserts both hot and cold like bowls of fresh fruits, Snow White which is shave ice, ice cream sundae, waffle ice cream sandwich, Mille Crepe Cake, crepe roll and cookies not to mention a whole selection of boba drinks and teas and the most fun part is for dine in only you can have fresh brewed hot tea served in the most "coolest" teapot!! For their grand opening special they're offering a generous BOGO on all drinks for five days and I've gotten Ube Frappuccino for myself and Matcha Brûlée Bubble Milk Tea for a friend along with Waffle ice cream sandwich with matcha and Matcha Mille Crepe Cake. First of all that waffle sandwich was yummy!!!! Not too sweet and the matcha ice cream was amazing it totally hit the spot on this warm day. Ube Frappuccino is a gentle flavor or Ube not intense at all very delicate and light drink not too sweet at all which just perfect for me, I can't wait to try more of their other drinks as they sound just so amazing!!! I'm off to delivery my treats and can't wait for my bestie to try them. Mango Mango Dessert is located between Bloomingdale's and Uniqlo in second floor on west side of the mall. Rating: 3.5 stars - this is strictly about the Grand Opening BOGO 3/31/2022 Ok I know you might be wondering why 3/5 stars. Now let me just say this story was about my mom and sister experience as they don't use social media so this was quite a disappointment for them... First of all, we all saw on the news about the grand opening promotion happening @ the Ala Moana location and they wanted to check it out after work. Lines were long but loved relatively quickly. They had no problem waiting. Then when they got to the register the worker takes my mom's order and before she paid she gave the order to the back. She then after asked my mom "oh are you here for the promo." She said yes and said she had to show the promo. My mom who doesn't have an Instagram had to ask my sister but my sister doesn't really use social media either. Then my sister shows the post but the worker tells her you have to share it to your story. Well they got their information from the news and don't recall anything about sharing on social media... my sister proceeded to share it on her story and then showed it to the worker. Then my mom asked if my sister can still order but the worker rudely tells my mom "no, it's only 2 per person who shows the story". My mom then asked to change her order since both her and my sister couldn't make separate orders and she could tell the worker was mad because she had already given the back her order and started to talk to the other worker. That other worker ended up letting them get what they want. But they noticed after having the problem a worker started letting the other customers know who were waiting outside about sharing it in social media and even saw the older lady after them trying to figure out what to do since she didn't have it ready and didn't know that to do. After paying, they waited for their order which wasn't too bad of a wait considering there was a special going on. A worker comes out and calls my mom's order and hands it to her in a bag with two fingers arm extended out and just looked at her... no thank you or acknowledgment at all... this made the overall experience not very pleasant for them which I'm sad about because I've always had a great experience at the pearlridge location :( They ended up liking their drinks but said it would be very hard for them to go back anytime soon because of how bad the customer service was Overall, happy that they expanded as they do have great items. But the staff working at 5:30 pm weren't very friendly... just some feedback maybe they can post a sign outside stating the promo and the requirements? I figured if I were an older person who doesn't have an Instagram and heard about the promo on the news I wouldn't know what to do either. When it comes to my family though, I want to make sure they get a good experience especially on places I've liked and recommended to them. But this was really heartbreaking to hear so I had to be honest as possible... Also, on KHON their article says 2 FREE drinks per order but on Instagram it 2 drinks per order per person. I'm a little confused on this hahaha. read more
I happy that I came back and had a much better experience! The young man working the register was very friendly, polite, and helpful. He is what brought my star rating up! We ordered a few desserts to go and I have to say I absolutely love their take out containers! All of the desserts we ordered were delicious but the mango crepe cake was my favorite. It was light and not too sweet. The chunks of mango were sweet and juicy...10/10 My 2nd favorite thing we tried this visit was the mango pancakes. They were stuffed with a refreshingly light cream and more of those yummy mangos! The outside was soft and slightly chewy. 9/10 The last dessert we tried was the chocolate crepe roll. It was also very light and not too sweet. There was lots of the fluffy delicious cream inside with little crispy rice candy pieces inside which added a nice textural surprise. Some of the crepe texture was a little tough but still good with the cocoa powder all over it. 7/10 The drinks we got were the cheese foam blush peachy which was my favorite this time around. At first sip it was a little too sweet but after mixing in the salty cheese foam it was perfectly balanced and really enhanced the peach flavor. 10/10 I got the mixed fruit Jasmine tea again because I liked it so much the 1st time around...still amazing 10/10 I also tried the ube Frappuccino ordered by my son which was surprisingly smooth and creamy! I was pleased and impressed with the strong ube flavor. It wasn't overly sweet and is quite pretty to look at :) 8/10 My daughter ordered the Thai bubble milk tea which my least favorite of the drinks this time around mostly because I do not like the texture of the boba here :( The drink itself was good and not overly sweet like many other Thai milk teas I've had at other milk tea locations. 5/10 with boba 7/10 without boba. I wish Mango Mango continued success and will be back for more yummy desserts and refreshing drinks when I'm in the area. read more
Yay don't have to go to pearlridge anymore! They are located by Bloomingdales by north face. The space is more modern feeling than their pearlridge location. The lighting is nice, just missing the swinging chair! Got their smoothie drinks mango and watermelon. Both were really refreshing tho the mango was a little tart. The mango had fresh cut up mango cubes on top. The watermelon had 3 spheres of watermelon in it. They both had jelly inside, the jelly wasn't as firm as other places it was more of a gelatin rather than a jello. I think their service was pretty good and they were very efficient in taking orders. Since it was their first day they were pretty backed up, ordering was pretty quick, just had to wait a bit for our order to come out, about 25ish min for 20 orders ahead of us. They also have a nice outdoor seating area in addition to maybe 7 indoor seats. read more
Dont let the name fool you - they don't only have mango drinks, but a lot of other types of drinks and desserts too! That is great for me since i have a mango allergy! LOL. They're located on the 2nd floor near bloomingdales wing. I came here on two separate days, and both days the line was around island brew. The only difference was it was about a 20 minute wait from start to finish on a Thursday afternoon, and over an hour wait from start to finish on a Friday. I did not have to show the promo deal on my phone or share to my story. The deal was too good to pass up tho - and I did get to try 4 different drinks. I must say the fresh fruit smoothies are the winner here. The boba drinks were less than amazing. It was artificial tasting and had mushy boba. The outside nook is quite nice but tables are a little close together. read more

Its new so everything looks nice! This one is located on the 2nd floor of the open mall portion. Lots of items for everyone. They have seating area across the walkway reserved for their purchased items. I really loved the boxes and boxes of mangos on display near the interior seating area. It is a definitely a place to stop by and enjoy something delicious that has mango in it! read more

When I heard a location was opening up in Ala Moana, I was excited! Especially with their special BOGO free opening week! It's located on the 'Ewa side on the second floor near Bloomingdale's, next to a cafe and the escalator going up. There's ample parking which won't ever be a problem. But definitely is a walk as the mall is huge. I got the Man-coco Sticky Rice drink which is exclusive to the Ala Moana location. It had sticky rice on the bottom of the drink with a scoop of ice cream on top. LOVED the concept as it was almost like the mango sticky rice dessert but in drink form. The drink was overall okay. The mango definitely was really sour. But it was definitely due to everyone ordering during their soft opening week and running out of ripe mangoes. Sad. But if it was made with sweet, ripe mangoes, the drink would definitely be 100% better. My friends got the Mango Smoothie and also equally as sour. We also added in an Ube Mille Crepe Cake! It was one of my friend's first time eating a crepe cake, and we loved it! It wasn't too sweet but very subtle in flavor. A great snack regardless! This shop is actually relatively on the pricier side. Drinks and desserts ranges from $7-10. That's almost a meal right there! But it's a great refreshing place to check out! read more

Love this place! Ala Moana has so many places to choose from, tho this place does give them a run for their money based on quality. They have a wide selection to choose for drinks but they also have crepes (makes me miss Shirokiya even more). $$$ wise it can be expensive but what isn't these days. The cheap desserts and drinks usually have a decline in quality, so you basically get what you pay for here. Believe me it's worth it. As it is at Ala Moana and it's still pretty new, there is a line but it's worth it (at least for me). Not a lot of places to sit down, it's always crowded, but it gives you something to drink as you window shop. Cause most of the stores at Ala Moana, you are window shopping lol. Stopped in for a drink between shopping. Got the Handcrafted Lime Green Tea, it was light, refreshing and hit the spot on a hot day. Service was friendly & patient through all the questions about the drink menu. The menu is large & varied definitely stop by and grab a drink. read more

One of my top 3 favorite dessert spots from the east coast made it to the island. The line the last few times I've been to the mall has been going out the door. Luckily when I went, there was only two people in line. Once we sat down, a super long line formed again that went down two store fronts. It takes awhile for them to get drinks out, so I'd give them a few weeks for the rush to go down before trying it out. I got my usual green tea crepe cake. I usually order a side of matcha ice cream with it but this location doesn't allow you to get ice cream ala carte which I thought was weird. Also, I hope they eventually ask if people are dining in / taking out. The packaging for the cake was nice but the garbages around the shop were filled with them. Kind of a waste if people are dining in! read more
It's so comforting to know that after being besties pretty much sisters of over 15 years that we still love having dessert after dinner! My sis and I had just eaten a hefty and delicious meal at Sorabol and caught up after years of not seeing each other and we had to figure out where to eat for dessert. We pulled up our trusty yelp apps and found this place was near by at Ala Moana. Now, I had explored Ala Moana earlier in the day and managed to get lost because of all the new construction and stores they added, I lost my sense of direction and orientation! I eventually figured out where I was but it was fun to explore the new areas. We got to Ala Moana and did a little research on the mall map to figure out where this place is and rode the elevator a second time to get to the correct floor. Once we got there it was pretty exciting to see a bunch of fresh mangoes stacked up at the back of the place-it's nice to know they use real fresh mangoes! They have a lot of choices for desserts that I'm unable to recall right now but they all looked good in their own right! Since this place is called Mango Mango Dessert I thought it warranted trying one of their Mango desserts! I honestly don't remember what our dish was called but I know it had mango ice cream and we had choices for either rice balls or lychee jelly. Jenna got the rice balls and I got the lychee jelly. We BOTH LOVED this dessert! It was sweet but not too sweet, refreshing and light as well as full of delicious flavor! The dessert dish provided the perfect amount of dessert yummyness. I've already told my family about this gem of a place so they too can beat the hot summers at home with something refreshing and yummy from here! read more

The 2 gals got drinks here. Mango I tried was tasty and full of mango flavor. They use fruits in many drinks. Pricey but good. Daughter got a tea drink. She liked it also. Not much else for me to say as I didn't get a drink. read more
Their menu had lots that captured my attention. Unfortunately, all quite pricey. We ordered 4 drinks: - Brown sugar boba milk -- same as the other boba places. - Snow white strawberry smoothie - good smoothie. I'd order this again. - Green tea smoothie with red bean and black rice - way too sweet. In fact, ridiculously sweet. - Cheese foam pineapple tea - drank this the next day. So disappointed that after the foam disappeared overnight, the liquid portion was only about 20% (see picture) I may go back to try a dessert or two. read more

Love this cute little place. It's atmosphere spells C-L-E-A-N and M-O-D-E-R-N! Mango is one of my favorite fruits and this place drew me right in. There's a long line but it went by quickly. Ordered the crepe and mango sticky rice dessert. Both dishes were beautifully presented. Crepe had a bit too much whipped cream. The Mango sticky rice was just what I was looking for - loved how the coconut is well blended in the sticky rice and the toasted coconut flakes complimented the coconut milk and gave this dish its sweetness. And oooh they didn't skimp on the mango. Fresh and refreshing! Will definitely be back. read more
The variety at this dessert shop is HUGE! Basically you can find anything for everyone. Ice cream, boba, cake, etc. We ordered multiple items here. The Mille cake, the triple delight ice cream, the waffle with Nutella, and the fruit tea. I would say everything was good. There wasn't one that I liked better than another. Each person in our group got what they wanted. It just amazed me that they have all these things and are still able to keep up the integrity and quality of the products. read more

I've been to this location and Aiea, both places are very nice, clean, and neat. Friendly staff at both locations. Sometimes you'll order with them or you can order from a self-service pad. Once you place your order it'll be made and brought out to you. Plenty of seating for everyone, wheelchair accessible, and kid-friendly. Well-made drinks and desserts. read more

I stopped by here this past Thursday at 8 pm. I was surprised to see a line but I guess the grand opening was last week lol Wait wasn't long though and we got a table! I ordered the A6 dessert with rice balls added and it was so yummy!!! My friend got a dessert with mango ice cream and loved hers too. Everything on the menu seems like it would be delicious tbh! But I'm watching my sugar intake so not sure if I'll be coming back very soon... Service was fine though strange when I asked to add mochi the register clerk acted confused til she corrected me and said rice balls. Lol read more
I was super excited about trying this establishment and ended up being somewhat disappointed. First of all, this place was next to impossible to find in the mall. The GPS kept getting me lost and no one seemed to know where it was located. Once I finally found the location, it was very hard to order, they only had tablets where you could place your order with no assistance and the people in front of me were taking forever to place their order due to user difficulty. I was waiting over 15 minutes until they finally gave up and left without ordering anything! Then I was able to place my order and found the items to be very excessively expensive. The green tea was not anything special and I would not order it again. The highlight was the 15 layer ube crepe cake that was very tasty. I think they only dust the flavoring over the top of the crepe and all the layers are not actually ube, but it was still very light and creamy. Probably would not make a special trip to come here again. read more
First time here. This place just opened up on a main road on kapahulu. My wife and I just finish taking the kids to the Waikiki aquarium and kids wanted so sweets. And where always wanting to try something new and this place popped up first on Yelp. Everything inside is new and spacious for dessert. We tried the UBE millie crape cake. First time trying it and it wasn't what I was hoping for. It's was good but if you add some ice cream with it then it totally changes the dessert and so much more enjoying. My kids choose a vanilla strawberry sundae with chocolate syrup and the loved it. This place has fast service and dine in is nice. I say only down fall is the potion to price ratio. It's a lily more on the pricey side due to it being in a tourist attraction area and it's in Waikiki. I would recommend if your out the area for some desserts. read more
I really enjoyed Mango Mango. I've been to one other location in NYC and it was the same as I remember. They have so many different desserts that are all refreshing and good. Don't let the name fool you. They have plenty of other options with different kinds of fruit too. I got the mango juice with lychee jelly (A5). The location is somewhat crowded even when the rest of the mall is closed. We went around 8pm and still had to wait in the short line, which was surprising. If I had to guess, it's probably even more popular when the mall is open. read more
