While standing in line I struck up a conversation with a couple behind me. The wife had 4 flower bouquets in her arms and her husband had two. I said you guys must be getting ready to go on a flower distribution run. The husband said they are all for my wife and this less than she normally receives on Mother's day. I then said, "Wow you are a great husband!" When it was my turn to pay, the husband said to me that it was so nice of me to give flowers to the seniors that he was going to buy another dozen for them for me to distribute. I was actually a bit stunned because no one has ever been so spontaneously generous. So I grabbed both bouquets of flowers and headed to the independent living center. Because many of the seniors were visiting with their families, only two seniors were there today. So each one got a dozen roses each for Mother's Day. One lady said she had no children and she would not have received any flowers on Mother's Day. Was it divine intervention or kismet? You decide. I was blown away by the circumstances. Today was a giving environment.

They offer a second Organic Farm Stand in Jonestown TX (between Cedar Park and Lago Vista, on 1431 and Jonesbrother Road downtown Jonestown ) on Saturday morning from 9am - 1pm, closing for one summer and one winter break. They have the best vegetables I've ever had! The farm itself is located in Jonestown, it is Organic and the farmers are wonderful. They publish a newsletter blog weekly (except during their vacations). I recommend receiving their blog, it is one of the best out there. The farm stand is usually crowded and certain items go quickly. This is not a Farm Market with multiple vendors, just Angel Valley Farms. Only Organic. Only what is in season. Everything is fresh, just picked, right here, locally. I love this farm! Organic produce is not cheap, I believe their prices are "normal", maybe a little lower than other produce found here in town. But what you get, is amazing; tomatoes, brocolli, beets, swiss chard, squash, onions when they are in season. When they have honey once a year, you can purchase local honey made by bees who live on their farm using those very vegetable flowers and wildflowers.
