Food is fantastic and the ambience is like being in Little Italy. The service made you feel like home. Must have.

Good little spot in the northend Boston . Food is always fresh . Good breakfasts there's a special everyday of the week . I like the Mangia burger and the chicken Marsala

Omg I'm obsessed with this place. Food is good and cheap-- we had breakfast. Lots of variety: breakfast, hot and cold subs, pasta, CHOCOLATE CHIP PANCAKES!! I'll have to come back and try those bc I just got an egg and cheese on everything. The owner is so personable and friendly. It feels like you're hanging out with an old friend. He knows everyone who comes in. If I lived here I'd come in all the time but sadly I'm a tourist!

Linguine with a vegetarian marinara and garlic bread

He was able to sit our group on short notice. There's not a lot of space in there but enough for our group of 15. He works efficiently and effectively and efficiently to get all of our orders and make them. All of our food was absolutely delicious! He also did have a vegetarian sauce for my pasta, and I got some garlic bread as a side. Delicious and absolutely would go again.

Great little hole-in-the-wall spot for lunch in the north end! Great sandwiches, great pasta, even serve breakfast! You can eat inside here socially distanced; and it's never packed. Clean, and the owner is super nice!! Makes everything himself. I had a meatball sub, and I don't care for the bread much, but everything else was fresh. Basic sandwich. My buddy had a steal Bellino however, and it was 9/10 BOMB. Definitely recommend. Definitely give this place a try and support during the pandemic.

    Chicken Parm

I finally made it to Mangia x2 after having it on my list for a few months. I opted for the classic chicken Parm and walked out a happy man. The sandwich had a few less bells and whistles than the others I'd tried around the neighborhood but the flavor was just right. The marinara at Mangia Mangia is really well balanced and has just the right amount of tang. Another advantage is that this spot is a bit off the beaten path and you won't have to deal with large groups of tourists. Overall, the delicious sauce and quick service definitely won me over for a second visit to try the pasta.

    Iced coffee

My go to spot for coffee and breakfast sandwiches, this is a neighborhood place where everybody is friendly, the food is delicious and the coffee is strong. If you were there for lunch, do not sleep on the chicken salad sandwich - it's delicious!

The remains of an outstanding chicken Parmesan sub! Yes, I finished it.

We had a hungry troop of Boy Scouts. The owner welcomed us, patiently took and cooked our orders, one at a time. With excellent specials, a variety of entrees and delicious food, Mangia Mangia proved to be the perfect lunch spot! I highly recommend it!

Can't wait for the best chocolate pancakes EVER!!!

Middling, unimpressive sandwich. Whatever they used to do to get secretly great bread must have disappeared during the temporary closure.

Weekday lunch visit: -- "Capital Burger" (their signature offering): A French onion style burger with speckled and well melted Gruyère cheese, soupy caramelized onions, and shallot aioli, on a sizable bun dotted with both black and white sesame seeds. Juicy medium rare center as ordered, but not much crusting on the exterior (the two are not mutually exclusive), and very light seasoning. Cheese flowed like lava. Onions were soft and noticeable. Very good burger even with the two shortcomings. -- Mixed Baby Greens: I traded fries for something more healthy. Well dressed with a tangy concoction and some carrot shreds and cherry tomatoes in the mix. A good complement to the burger. Service was VERY disappointing. The place was empty on a Friday lunch, with only one booth occupied, yet I got seated on the other side of the partition, literally inches from them. Then my server doesn't show up for roughly 15 minutes. Then I don't see the server ever again after receiving my order. Nobody came by to follow up. After finishing my meal I waited roughly 15 minutes again with no check, no server, no service, no pulse among the front of the house. No manager either as far as I could tell. I calculated the payment, left cash, and departed. I expect better from a place with "Capital" in its name. Capital Burger's Yelp bio promises "featuring a commitment to exceptional service and hospitality." This visit showed not only the lack of exceptional service, but the lack of commitment as well. (And yes, I did mention this to the business via their Instagram account.)

Tho I've never really liked full size burgers so always been a slider fan. Damn. Let me repeat, damn. Again, damn. Super simple but so so juicy and whatever sauce they are saucing on it? My mouth waters at the memory. They are decent sized and you get 4, plus a massive tower of also very good onion rings. The onion rings were good no complaints but after the sliders nothing was going to compare so I kind of forgot any opinions I had on them. Inside is cozy, staff are fun and great, reasonable prices and good vibes anytime I've gone in. And I'll be going in again soon bc damn.
