Had an amazing dinner here tonight for my mothers birthday. Our server was fabulous, attentive, and detail oriented, as well as the additional staff. Great menu with a variety of options and BYOB (but local wine available to order). The food was outstanding, generous portions and quality ingredients with great prices. Tonight we had a mix of apps/entrees on menu items or specials and were thrilled with all of it. Will absolutely be back and highly recommend. read more

A best kept secret in town. The service is attentive and food is excellent. I frequent this restaurant often when I am in town. They have a many selections on the menu and everything I have had on the menu was awesome. The pork chop, chicken dishes and the salmon are all great options to choose from. Had 6:30 reservations with friends. We were seated on time. We were quickly brought over bread, which was very hard and water. No one came back. After patiently waiting, we stopped another waiter and asked him for fresh bread and where our waiter was. He apologized and said he would take our table. We then waited 1.5 hours for our meal! When we asked manager what was going on, his excuse was "there's a party tonight". You would think a restaurant would have prepared for that. It was our first experience and our last. Kudos to the waiter , who had just started. He handled it well, as it was not his fault.Management could have done better. The manager did nothing to make it right, besides give an excuse. read more

This restaurant is fabulous. We just had a funeral luncheon for 50 people and the service and food are perfect. One of her choices was salmon and they had trays of it cooked perfectly. I do not always get it salmon cooked that perfectly for a meal and some restaurants I whole heartedly recommend this restaurant. read more

This place was ok. Located in a strip mall in Brick NJ. Not knocking strip mall restaurants at all, Lubrano's in Wall is one of the best Italian restaurants in the area - and it's in a strip mall. Heirloom Kitchen in Old Bridge, one of the best restaurant experiences in the area period -- strip mall too. But I digress. The decor and atmosphere this winter weeknight was pretty nondescript. Bland gray walls and not much decor. Walls and layout were too straight if that makes sense, something about it felt like an office. Our server himself was wonderful, no complaints. It's a BYO so that's fine, but they apparently partner with a winery and sell their wines. Food was ok to good. Seafood appetizer was fine, portion size for sharing but still smaller than I expected. I had a bite of the crab and shrimp. NY Strip steak was ok. Cooked perfectly medium rare, but just ok, maybe underseasoned. Overall a bland dinner, maybe an off night, but again server was good. read more

I placed an order for pickupat 6:49P. They said 7:20P the order would be ready. it is 7:30 and it still isn't ready. The restaurant is roughly 1/2 filled. There are 3 people at the reception podium... Totally unacceptable that an order should take this long. This is the 2nd time ordering To Go (and last). I have also dined in and service was extremely slow.. Seems to be the theme with them. The food is good. It's a shame they haven't been able to offer better service (3 years now) read more

My palate is selective, but I applaud Manera's for their food presentation, food portions, AND great tasting food. BYOB is a bonus! I have been to more expensive restaurants where the food quality did not justify the price. Manea's food was not only delicious, but the price point was great. This place is incredible! I was staying with my family in seaside and this place was well worth the drive. Whether you're a local or on vacation I would highly recommend going here for the crab cakes. The chicken chipotle pasta was 10/10 as well as the lamb chops and dessert. Just take note of the fact that this place is BYOB but also sells local wines by the half and full bottle! 10/10 will continue to come back!! read more

This place just opened in October 2020 and we were willing to give it a shot since we were looking for something new. Clean and modern interior- feels upscale. I got the grilled chicken dish with shrimp bisque as my starter. Everything was perfect. My b/f got the onion soup with the strip steak. Delicious. The staff was attentive and super friendly. Last night we had great food, great service, and a great time. Manera's food is incredibly delicious, and with so many creative offerings, it was difficult to decide. We ordered Shrimp Bisque & Roasted Red Pepper soups, which were both fantastic (& served hot); and followed by Grilled Salmon dressed w/a pomegranate soy reduction - perfection. The hubster had Manera's Veal - fork tender & finished with a creamy mushroom thyme sauce (he hates mushrooms, yet he absolutely loved this dish). Alexis, our newly hired server, was very sweet & attentive, she's a definite asset to this sleekly modern gem of a restaurant. read more

Early bird menus included soup or salad, entree, dessert, coffee or tea. Prices were reasonable. Food was delicious. They even have some small private rooms for events. What a great experience we had at Manera's for my future daughter-in-law's bridal shower. They were SO accommodating and everything took place seamlessly. The menu included a choice of chicken francese, the house specialty veal dish (my favorite), salmon and penne ala vodka - our guests raved about every dish! Not only was the food outstanding, the service was also top notch! Everyone commented on what a great venue it was for a group event. It was reasonably priced and, an added bonus, it was BYOB! I attended a bridal shower here. Beautiful room and servers were helpful. It's was a brunch buffet and the first turnoff was that they ran out of bagels, then had to wait for them to bring out other food as it was going fast. Eggs were cold, bacon was hard. They did have penne pasta that was very tasty but again it was gone and not replenished. I've heard many great reviews so perhaps this was an off day? I will try again for dinner read more
