This is about our 6th time at this incredible restaurant. Every time we come here we think it's better than the time before. Staff here are warm, professional and very friendly. They take pride in the service and the food that they offer. Today we had Marissa who was an absolute doll. Marissa presented the specials with enthusiasm and a charming, sincere flair. Now let's talk about the food. There are four of us and we had all different types of salads, one Caesar, one house and two Arugula and Pear. Woah! Everyone enjoyed their salads, but my vote goes for the arugula and pear that was absolutely wonderful. What sets this restaurant apart from even other excellent restaurants is the chef's creative approaches to every dish on the menu. We've tried a huge variety of foods here over the last year or so and each one brings a smile to our faces when we view it, as well as a huge smile to our taste buds as we consume them. Tonight we had salmon with Bok Choy, Shrimp Manera, Crab Cakes, a lobster tail appetizer and Lamb Chops to die for! Dessert (Old Fashioned Tartufo) topped the night! Delicious! I had the lamb chop, and I am VERY picky when it comes to lamb. They did not disappoint. The lamb was the best I have ever had. My husband had the seafood medley. Also delicious. We both had the loaded baked potato soup. It came out piping hot (just the way I like it). And It was flavorful! Our waitress, Chelsea, was attentive and cheerful. We had a wonderful Sunday lunch at Manera. Our server, Marissa was excellent, attentive, informed and very friendly. The food was very good. We had the shrimp appetizer special with a sweet Thai sauce, delicious. We also had the crab and mango appetizer, the crab was very fresh, along with the avocado. Nice touch with the mango. I had the lemon chicken and my mom had the herb crusted cod. All of our food was delicious. What a hidden gem! After reading so many positive reviews we hosted a 70th birthday dinner for my husband for about 30 people. We met with Christian and went over our options. Super nice and guy and very helpful. It's a BYOB so that alone is a plus! Everyone was very pleased with the food from the appetizers, to salad & bread and dinners (we did sit-down dinner) and brought our own cake. Manera's included the side of ice cream along with soft drinks, coffee/tea. Our waiter was Liam. He couldn't have been any nicer and more helpful and accommodating. What a mess, poorly run and organized. My future daughter-in- law had her shower here. They booked the center room which they paraded guest through to a dining area during the party. At one point as they were playing a game the male manager walking right in front of the bride to be. "Icing on the cake". My wife is a pastry chef and made all the desserts when we arrived some had to be refrigerated. All the desserts were labeled.The staff but them in the back. We bought all our own set ups for the dessert table. When it was time for the desserts my wife set up the table, 60 Champagne cupcakes with mimosa icing were missing. I arrived and asked the female manager where they were, with an attitude no care at all stated "the girls said they put them out". I pulled out my phone and said, "here's a picture of the table no cupcakes". No other response or effort made. Aside from that the pasta primavera was a sad sight with a quarter inch of oil in the bottom an about three peas. I would not recommend this venue for anyone planning a party. To Manera's please save the cliche response to this review with the canned "we are sorry for your experience and make effort to ensure a good event or blah blah blah". Yeah that day I was at your restaurant the server said there was only ginger and water available because you were changing over to new service provider. I have never see anything like that it is usually completed during off hours. The service was slow at best waiting more than 30 minutes for an entree is not acceptable even for freshly made dishes. Entree's include warm bread & a crispy tasty salad I had 1/2 blue cheese and 1/2 balsamic on the side, I ordered the grilled swordfish special, it was fresh, scrumptious and grilled to perfection, sides included wasabi mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus, generous portion enough to take 1/2 home. Both sides were excellent, it included a sauce which I ordered on the side. (I'm not a sauce on my food person). I've had dinners here several times and always been extremely satisfied. My boyfriend and his mom went to lunch there today for lunch to day and we couldn't have had a better experience . Despite being a crowded Sunday and the restaurant serveing a ver large birthday party we were seated immediately and with kindness. The restaurant as very clean and staff were all ver kind. We ordered calamari and crab cocktail for appetizers both of which were absolutely delicious. I ordered the scallops which came with soup so I got French onion it was all delicious. My bf got the crab cake cakes with potato croquettes and his mom got lemon chicken. They weee all great! She got the early bird special so hers came with soup and dessert fo $18 she got the cheesecake which was not too heavy perfect last bite to a perfect meal. We had a VERY wonderful happy time so thank you very much Maneras staff for making our day so special! We will definitely return! Also FYI it's byob which is a huge money saver! read more

My wife and I went to Manera's for the first time today for our Valentine's Day Anniversary and we were impressed! Nice staff, excellent food, beautiful presentation in an attractive setting. The stuffed mushroom appetizer was flavorful and the perfect size for two. Our dinners (Arctic char and scallops) were among the best seafood dishes we've ever had. My son and future daughter in law's shower was today. The service at this establishment is less than professional. There are "managers" walking around and through the rooms where the venues are being held. They walked in front of the bride to be as she was participating in an activity for her shower. They walked through the room with balloons and hit the bride to be in the head as she was seated at her he table. People were being seated for restaurant service during our event and were walked right through our moments. They "lost" our cupcakes that I made for our event and then told us they served them to the other event that was going on at the same time. There was no apology. In fact they asked if I was sure I actually brought them. I hope someone enjoy the hard work I put into making them. My pasta primavera had very little prima Vera but I as swimming in olive oil! my sister and I ate here Wednesday evening. It was the first visit for both of us. Our service was great and the food was really delicious. Great selection, fair prices and HOT food. My only complaint? I don't know if I would go back because atmosphere is everything when you decide where to go and this place has none. We were sat next to the fireplace which was lovely but the lights above are way too bright... I felt as if I were in an interrogation room. And there is no music or background noise. The room is sky blue and white with little to no decorations either. It felt as if we were eating in a cafeteria. Honestly , the food here IS AMAZING. Best food in the area hands down. But, do not plan on going here unless you have no other plans and are not in a rush... I entered the restaurant with a 7:30pm reservation, we were seated by 7:50pm and my family and we did not walk out of the doors until 10:50pm. Like i said, the food was amazing but certainly not worth a 3 hour + wait. We were told there is only one chef which makes sense why there was a long wait time, but they should not be filling the restaurant to full capacity if that is the case. I only gave two stars because of service. I have eaten there several times and the food is always excellent. However, the last couple of times I have been there the service has been awful. This last visit on 2/5 our server was Juan O and while he was a pleasant young man he wasn't a very good server. After ordering our meal with appetizers he never came by to check on how everything was going (refill water, see if we needed anything, etc). Then after a decent wait our salads came via a couple of buss people which I thought was curious seeing our apps hadn't come. Then a while later our main course came, when he came over we asked why didn't we receive our apps. His reply was he forgot to put them in! Obviously at that point we didn't want them. He still was inattentive and never offered any kind of restitution (maybe offer us a coffee on the house). It is a shame because the food is very good!!! Not sure if I will return. read more

If you can be patient and wait for an excellent dinning experience with great food served by friendly servers, this is a place for you. My wife and I shared chorizo stuffed mushrooms, I had stuffed veal and my wife had the crab cakes. All were excellent. We were way too full to have dessert. but if our meal was any indication I am sure dessert would not disappoint. They offer wine from Sharrot Winery or it is BYOB. All restaurants are having staffing issues so be patient and enjoy a relaxing night out. read more
