Since the day they opened I am a Huge Fan of El Gordo Coqui. They're Food Is Truly Authentic. So delicious. From the Monfongo, The Beef stew, The Chicken Stew, The Arroz & Gondules, The Pernil, Empanadas. Anything you order you can't go wrong. We Love Their Food So Much That We're Having Them Cater Our Wedding. The Owners Are Kind and Personable Highly Recommend This Place read more

For a mid priced restaurant where you can get a good ribeye cooked the way you want it is prefect . The interior is rustic design and specifically a Australian motif. Steak was plenty large snd delicious. I gas the macaroni and cheese and a salad and left completely full and satisfied. I finished off my meal with the ice cream and brownie. All washed down with the raspberry ice tea. Mike our server was friendly, fast and professional. I was visiting my mother-in_law who made this excellent choice. read more

Good food great service very clean the rice needed to be cooked a little longer maybe add more water to the rice when being cooked . But overall good food . I enjoyed my dinner.. My bf and i came here just to grab a bite on the way back home and had a great experience! Shannon was our waitress and was so attentive and the food was delicious and well cooked read more

Very disappointed with service and quality. Bowl of chili was very spicy and watery , only a few spoonfuls. It seems they were short help in the running around our waiter did. Every one's meal seemed adequate in quantity. In our party of ten, some were finishing up before the last of us were served. Took for ever for everyone to get our checks. Longhorn for me. Won't be going back to Outback. read more

We did the 3 course meal deal & everything came out great! I got the popcorn shrimp option with french onion soup, which both turned out phenomenal. My fiance was not dissatisfied with his blooming onion burger & loaded potato soup either! Loved the dim lighting and overall ambience as well. Our server was Tony & he was both helpful and very friendly and willing to answer our questions. 100% plan to come again, our kids loved the Mac and Cheese as well! read more

we were greeted at the door and seated immediately. our server was wonderful explaining the menu since it was our first time. once the food came I started to bite into my burger and found hairS in the meat. I called the server over who apologized ,took the plate away said she'd put in a new order and said she'll send the manager order. I waited about 20 minutes +/- and got my burger. onky AFTER I got it the manager came over and said something to the effect of I see you got your food and apologized. when we got the check the original burger was still on 5he hill but the replacement was compt? I would have thought the original burger should have been compt. am I wrong? read more

I am an OUTBACKER like forever.I think you get great value for the money, BUT..........a few nights ago went to Brick location with wife. Got seated immediatly. Had one cocktail and ordered a center cut sirloin. The bar tender was our server, The cesear salad was great. The steak was very tough and had a very wide fat strip on each side. Wife's meal was great. I'm not the complainer so I sawed thru the steak and chewed it to death. the only other remark is the music which is loud and impossible to identify. read more

Used to love running in there for a drink & soup & salad, which was okay, since i was just returning from the beach. Since then, I wish it's going to great like used to be.. so I try again, now it's horrible, I was so mad at myself for giving it another shot.. I did pick up, I only live like a mile away, as soon as got home, downhill! The steak was so spicy & seared, I couldn't even eat it,,,, way to spicy for me, I never had that problem there before.. at least they could mention that it's very spicy, so upset, now what will I eat :-(, the salad looked like it was sitting there all day, withered lettuce, (shame] The soup, potato soup, so cold & gross, it seemed like i was eating chicken gravy with 1 potato in, tossed out, :-(, now im starving, I call back & let them know, how spicy the steak was , manager agreed he orders his with only light spicy, Who knew that was an option ¿ he tried to justify the problem by having me pick up another streak, not seasoned. It's was okay or was i just super starving.. the bread used to be to die for i could eat 3 & love each bite, now dry as heck, :-(, I also love to know what happened to the Blooming Petals sufficient for one person to eat !! and I would love to purchase them for myself to eat.. now it's about $12, for the blooming onion. It REALLY STINKS, what am I going to do with a giant blooming one, just for myself. Sad that you got rid of the blooming PETALS, really stinks, i loved them, I haven't had since they doubled the price, the got rid of the Blooming Petals.... Downhill from when 1st opening... sad I wish it wasn't like this,/ wish it was like it used to be good food, good prices & i Really wosh the would bring back The Blooming PETALS, sufficient for ONE PERSON... no more i guess..:-( read more

I have reviewed this outback before - it was not good. However, I visited again today for the first time in a couple years and it was awesome! We were seated immediately, we got our drinks and food order in right away. The appetizer came out fast, fresh and hot. My steak was cooked perfect with no fat on it, everything looked good on the plate. Servers were attentive and kept our glasses full The manager even came over to see how we were doing. I have to say, this was as close to perfect as I have had at a steak house in jersey. Thanks outback for turning this place around. Kudos to the current manager. read more

First of all it was busy the nite we came we had to wait 30mins I notice three ppl came he seat them right away I said wait we were here he said it easy to sit six ppl then two ppl first there wasn't six ppl it was three my steak was raw I think on purpose it ok I will never go back there again read more

The food is OK. It had been great but has gone downhill. The service is good. The place looks nice

Why did I decide to give this place another chance? So disappointing! For a steak house I just had the most inedible steak. Before I could even take a bite I had to cut 30% through it to find an edible part which was hard and chewy. It took so much work to find a part that wasn't veiny and full of tendons that I gave up. I was soo turned off and disgusted that I lost my appetite. Never ever again. Outback you need to get your shhhht together!! Maybe change up the menu a bit and get some quality food. It's like eating at the equivalent of Mc Donald's. Same old shilt!. In response to the owner referring me to Outback's website, nice way to pawn off the responsibility. I understand it's a franchise but it's your store and the local people are your customers. Is it too much to ask that you make sure your franchise is running in a manner that you can offer quality food and a great dining experience. I don't want to be pawned off to corporate for a gift certificate to a place that is not good. What are you going to do to improve? read more

If you've been to Peter Luger's in Brooklyn any erstwhile steak joint is bound to be a disappointment but a meat chain like Outback has virtues all its own. The service is crisp and if you close your eyes and forego a gimmick free dinner (sans Bloomin' Onion or "Tasmanian" Chili) and keep it simple with a Caesar, Ribeye and a baked potato the fare may make a liar of your inner cynic. And joy of joys, not one comic waiting in line had the memory or temerity to tell their friends "I hope they put another shrimp on the barbie." Australian Tourism should be very proud of that moldy chestnut. Honestly, they'd do themselves a favor and class up the joint if they swept all the upsell collateral off the table pushing an endless parade of specialty cocktails and Aussie-themed desserts. That'll never happen but I can dream. The Outback in Brick is enjoyable and a prime cut above average. Four Bloomin' stars... absolutely no barbie (or midge.) read more

ordered curbside catering- steak for 6. great food, great service, comes with large portions and is good bang for your buck. outback rewards system is also good- very easy to earn $5 rewards read more

Went to the one in Brick. Not so great , the service was very slow and the food was mediocre at best. We had the blooming onion and it was not cooked in clean oil . It came out dark and greasy the steaks had minimal flavor and the food was put on the wrong plates. And the o ring on the cake was hair on a plate . We're done with this joint. read more

Depend on Outback for consistently great food and consistently great service. Today's visit was a bit of a disappointment. No bread and butter was served. Ordered soup and steak/fries. Steak and fries arrived told server soup was ordered? The restaurant was not crowded. Not sure what is going on here? Seemed like everything was off. The food however was great. read more

On Saturday August 10, 2024 @ 6:45pm. I took my wife out to a disappointing dinner at the Outback in Brick NJ. I ordered steak shrimp combo. Received a hockey puck for a steak, shrimp was also overcooked, a baked sweet potato that was undercooked. It was more mashed than baked. The blooming onion was greasy. Management was understanding and compted my meal. read more

It was just ok. Used to be much better. They do rush you also. Steak was small and potatoes were dry. Like I said.. just ok.

The blooming onion was overcooked and greasy. The ribeye and shrimp dinner at $33 was disappointing. The steak was thin and over seasoned and extremely salty. There were only four small shrimp. This Outback Steakhouse has been in Brick Twp a few years. First time I have been to this one. The place was not crowded, seated immediately. There are currently three menus to peruse. So tell your server you need extra time to digest them. The origin of this chain is American, but the ambiance and food presentation are Australian, at least that's what is stated. Some of the examples of Aussie fare are: Bloomin' onion, kookaburra wings, Sydney shrooms, Aussie cheese fries. Keep in mind if you do not like fried foods do not order these. The wings are fried and made with mac & cheese, The Bloomin onion is decent with their homemade sauce, the Aussie cheese fries are made with bacon and onion bits.and the shrooms are "lightly" battered with ranch dressing. We did not partake in the above. They have a four course dinner for $20 which is not deep fried. Choose that if you're watching fat content, carbs and your waistline. We did. read more

The last time at the Outback was my last time. I took my parents for lunch around 1:15 on Wednesday for my Dad's birthday. My Mom has dimensa, with that disease it takes longer for her to decide what to eat. I write on a piece of paper her options so she can decide, crossing one off each time she can't decide. I am not one for complaining but the waiter/waitress appeared to be slightly annoyed each time he/she returned to take our order and we weren't ready (it took at least 4 times before I finally made the decision what my mom was going to eat). I mentioned she had dimensa and asked for some patience. I was upset when I saw the rolling of the eyes when we still weren't ready. I spent almost $100 dollars for lunch with soups and an appetizer and dessert. How would you feel if that was one of your parents? I just needed to let you know of my experience, not a good experience and I have dined there before as I enjoy the food. Caring and understanding waiters/waitresses read more

Great Porterhouse steak here with mashed potatoes. Cooked the way I like it and very filling. The complimentary bread, which I found out is Honey Wheat and not Pumpernickel, was tasty and warm. This is definitely something that you cannot stop eating while waiting for your meal or during. The Porterhouse was a nice size and easy to slice off the bone. My server Jennifer was attentive and friendly and made sure that there was bread in front of me while waiting for the main course. This location has a nice sized parking lot and was actually quiet when I went there. As always, I was not disappointed with my meal at Outback. Be sure if you want a steak, to give this place a try. I also heard they have great burgers too. May try that on my next visit to one of their locations. read more

Outback old bridge good service and enjoy their bone in rib-eye. Only thing is they advertise 18 ounce steak and I'm pretty sure my steak was few ounces less. Could it be they are cutting back the size? read more

Understanding this is a chain restaurant I went in with lower expectations but could not have expected how bad it really is. The bar experience was good while waiting for our table. Ordered a char grilled ribeye. I would not give my dog this food. First of all a young man comes to drop off the food, a baked potato with nothing, not even butter. Did not ask if I wanted anything. Actually the potato was well baked. THE STEAK WAS FAT ON FAT ON FAT. It was not edible. Sent it back for a 6 oz filet mignon. That was delivered on a small dessert plate with no potato. It was so salty I ate a few bites and left it. UGH!!!! My dining at chain restaurants is done, unless I am going to grab a burger.....or go to the Turning Point. Do not waste your money. read more
