Not crowded for a Thursday evening. Kinda surprised. Since we didn't have a reserv, we slid right in. Maria, our server, popped up out of the kitchen. Still not feeling the right moment to order. Drinks and to unwind seemed appropriate. I ordered the Ocean mixed grill for two, consisting of shrimp, mahi-mahi, tuna, and salmon with sides of sprouts and specialty fries with tomato bisque soup and salad all for $49.90. Thursday night, 7pm. We were seated quickly. Our first server brought out some bread and took our drink order. I was going to order a Grey Goose martini. I asked what kind of vermouth they used in their martinis. The Serv server said they do not use any vermouth. They only use vodka. So basically you're paying for a martini and you're getting vodka on the rocks.... I opted out and just had a glass of wine. My husband ordered a draft beer which came out quickly and well chilled glass, but no head on the beer. Our new server, Avery, came by the table to take our orders for dinner. She was friendly, helpful, and the highlight of the evening. My husband ordered the mahi-mahi dinner. When it came out, we couldn't stop laughing! It literally looked like a child's portion. My medium rare burger had to go back as it was still mooing on the plate. It was obvious that they remedied that by putting the entire thing, including the tomatoes, pickles, and onions into the microwave. The tomatoes were warm the lettuce was wilted. The burger was delicious! The Fries were unremarkable... not worth eating. We had not been to Bonefish in quite some time. I've been to this restaurant a few times over the years and it used to be one of my favorite places. I haven't gone in a couple of years and decided to go today on Father's Day. Wow, I was shocked at how the service and overall experience has totally gone into shambles. One of the worst experiences I've ever had at any restaurant and I've been to plenty of them. We called in a reservation earlier. From the moment me and my family of five arrived at Bonefish, it was a terrible experience. Our reservation did not matter much because it took them over 10 minutes to even sit us down. The restaurant was more than half empty by the way. From the moment we sat down, It took us almost 20 minutes for anyone to even approach us and ask for our drink orders before anything else. Then another 15 minutes to actually receive the drink orders and finally order our food. The. Another 30 minutes plus to even begin receiving some food. I had finished my drink by the time the first few dinner entrees were brought to us. I never received another offer for another drink the rest of my time there and we were there for almost 2 hours total. I didn't bother to ask for another drink. Honestly I was just really frustrated with the service and the whole experience. There was no bartender in sight. It looked as if one of the waitresses was working on tables and once in a while popped into the bar to make a drink. One of the workers wearing a white coat was constantly chatting it up with the table across from me while other patrons were also waiting for service. When my food was finally brought to my table, the asparagus was dry and completely unseasoned. Not even a pinch of salt on it. I ordered the sea bass, a $40 meal! And they hand me a plate of dry unseasoned asparagus. I sent it back. It was insulting. My daughter, who is autistic, kept asking me if she was ever going to get any food. The manager, whoever it was, never approached us or any table for that matter to address any concerns. Honestly, after this experience, I will NEVER go back to Bonefish Grill. Went to brunch at the Bonefish Grill in Brick one Sunday. It was pretty quiet. We had no reservation but none was needed. The atmosphere is white tablecloth and fish decor (no surprise there) in a good way. Plenty of room for all different sized parties. A young guy was our server and he was friendly. The restaurant had a brunch menu in addition to the regular menu. We all settled on brunch. It was a nice brunch. The food was tasty. 3 of us ordered the breakfast tacos and they were filled with eggs and bacon and had bang bang sauce on it. The side was 2 half slices of créme brûlée French toast. The other dishes enjoyed were the BFG egg burger with potatoes and the BFG eggs Benedict with bang bang shrimp with a side of potatoes. Before you get your entrees they serve you bread with olive oil dipping sauce and the bread was so good. Despite not ordering a ton of seafood, all the dishes were definitely a positive experience all around. We will definitely be back read more

Frequent flyer here but I came here to review last month's Barrel Into Summer. Please if you have a chance to check out Amy of these 4 course dinners try it out. It's well worth the 65 bucks. Each course comes with a drink even dessert. I had an awesome time. Everything was delicious and having Cigars n More there topped off the event. I usually wouldn't order Bourbon but every single drink was a hit. I know for the next time don't even stop at the bar before the event lol. The event is held in the main dining room and it's dedicated only to those who has RSVP. They decorate and have a bar set up in the dining room as well. I will say I think the courses were rushed a little. I would prefer a slower pace so you're not rushed to finish your drinks so fast. We just visited on a Monday night, it was not busy at all. My son loved his Chicken Lilly. I was disappointed because I told two others how great the Cod imperial was. Three of us ordered it and it was definitely not the same delicious plate that it used to be. The cod was overcooked and dry and what usta be a sauce over the fish, was a dry clump. I'm so disappointed. My father actually said it was disgusting. The waiter asked how it was and I told him, you think you would tell the manager. My name is Jim and my wife's name is Mary Ann We decided to go to the Bonefish Grill in Brick NJ for our 30th anniversary dinner. We were greeted by our hostess Savannah who propmtly sat us with a smile. Very soon our server Sean arrived to take our order. When he came back with the drinks my wife mentioned to him that it is our 30th anniversary. He offered his congratulations and few minutes later Cara came to our table with two flutes of champagne and a Happy Anniversary sign! Her demeanor was upbeat and honest. My wife and I enjoyed being fussed over with such enthusiasm! The food came out. It was well prepared and presented . Sean came by and we asked him if we could see the manager, saying not for a complaint but to let him or her know about our very favorable experience. Stacey showed up shortly and we mentioned how much we were enjoying the evening! I asked for her name so I could mention her in my review! As we were preparing to leave our server Sean provided us with 2 complimentary brownies with some ice cream that we took home to the grandkids.He also included an anniversary card that he signed for the whole crew. His kindness was reflected in our honest enjoyment of the experience and the tip was our way of thanking him and the others in making our evening fun and memorable. Thank you Bonefish. Changes to the menu have removed most of the seafood entrees which were my favorites. I'm not a fish eater so my main course choices were limited. Finally settled for the bang bang shrimp which I usually have as an appetizer but here had it as tacos. It is better an an appetizer. A seafood place doesn't do a taco like a Mexican restaurant. Bonefish Grill is actually one of the better chain restaurants I have been to. You get an experience that is above other chain restaurants, such as Applebee's, Chili's, etc. Although it's not fine dining, it's still has a semi lounge feel to it. The price is overall actually well worth it. They have a craft cocktails, which I know are always a little bit more expensive. Nevertheless, I thought the prices of the craft cocktails were lower than they are at other lounges. I definitely recommend getting one with your meal. The service seemed very efficient. Everybody was working and bustling about. We were not rushed at all and were able to relax and enjoy. You can tell they are a little bit more Covid compliant than the average restaurant. Naturally, it's mostly seafood options. We were actually pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food items. Over the summer we ate at an independently owned seafood restaurant closer to the beach, and we thought Bonefish Grill was better. Each menu item takes a traditional seafood dish and they do something special with the sauce or the presentation. The only thing that could've been better was the lava cake dessert, which we thought was just OK. read more

The service was very good and our waiter was pleasant and attentive. As for the food it was average at best. The bread and dipping oil mixture was bland. I ordered the Bistro Cut Filet with Chimichurri, tasty but whoever cut, it was either using a very dull knife or terrible knife skills. It was ripped apart versus nice slices. And the serving size in my opinion was very small for the price of $28.50. From my table, I watch the waitress, pull a small bag of chimichurri sauce out of a heater/microwave cut it open and pour it on right before she served it. Lastly, the presentation was terrible, small amount of vegetables and just "slapped" on the plate, no garnishes etc. I know that bonefish grill is a chain but it's supposed to be a higher end chain and based on the price it is but the quality of food and presentation is severely lacking. read more

I don't know how this location stays in business. Food is usually pretty good most of the time, but the service is almost always horrible. We live close by and usually do the "curbside catch". Almost every time I wait and wait and wait, until I have to give up and walk in and retrieve my order. Not being lazy, but either provide that curbside service, or just don't. Plus, our order is just sitting on the shelf behind the hostesses desk, getting cold. And that's if the order is even correct. There's always something wrong and/or missing. We ordered online for curbside catch tonight (2/14/2025). Email said it would be ready at 6:02pm. I waited and waited in spot #4 for 40 minutes, until I just went in. The hostess and manager have a clear view when someone is waiting. I asked if they honestly even honor that service anymore, letting the hostess and manager know I've been waiting forever. I got some really lame excuse that the people who usually bring out were busy in the back or something and that it was really hectic. The hostess and the manager both seemed really frazzled. Look, I know food service is a difficult task, especially on Valentine Day at dinner time, but this has also happened many other non-holiday random nights. We always reluctantly give it "one last shot", but tonight was just awful. Food was totally cold by the time I got it all home, 45 minutes after it was supposedly ready. I insisted on checking the order right then and there at the hostess station, and let them know there's always something missing or wrong. Even when we do dine inside there, many of the other negative reviews about the waiter showing up 15 min after sitting down, and/or being missing in action for long periods of time ARE TRUE! Same thing happens to us almost every time. Plus, there's one really creepy weird dude (waiter) who tries a little too hard to be nice, but just creeps us out, and when we eat there, we always hope we don't get him. He's one of the ones who goes missing too. Anyway, I think tonight was our last shot. Took forever, food was cold (and honestly not good tonight), manager and hostess didn't seem to care. It's just always SOMETHING at this location. 2 or 3 years ago, it wasn't like this. It's gone SO DOWNHILL since then. I was actually angry after this experience tonight. I realize Valentine's night is probably extra crazy, but this was just extra awful, and this was likely the last time we're ordering from there. I'm not interested in any apologetic gift cards or anything like that. We'll pass. Just really wanted to share our experiences as of late. Today we celebrated Easter at the Bonefish Grill one of our favorites. We arrived on time for our reservation and were seated in the a booth by the bar. This is a wonderful seat with a view of the open kitchen to see all the action. Our server was Camille and we ordered mimosas. As we sipped our drinks a commotion was erupting in the open kitchen by a woman who was yelling and throwing the f bomb at staff members. She went on and on yelling and complaining and continuing to shout the f bomb. This type of behavior is unprofessional and should not occur regarding whatever the issues are. If the staff needs to be informed of an important issue then a meeting should be set up after hours to discuss. We ordered and enjoyed the calamari and beef and ginger potstickers. Both were delicious. Our entrees were the mahi mahi and shrimp and the scallops and shrimp. Once again well prepared and cooked perfectly. We ended our meal with after lunch drinks and espressos. It was almost a perfect way to celebrate the Easter holiday with the exception of one particular staff member. We were very surprised to find that she was the managing partner, Cara Ripiel. It is time for Cara to step away as the managing partner and go back to training in how to deal with staff effectively in a professional manner. Went for an early dinner with my wife. Server took our drink and dinner order. I had a delicious red sangria and my wife had an espresso martini which she enjoyed. Didn't see our server the runner brought out our food. I was looking for a second sangria. Runner said he would tell our server. It was not crowded.
