Mane Attraction Salon - Cut and color by the lovely Christina! :) - Hair Salons Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

Gorgeous salon with professional staff. The owners are the most lovely people who really go the extra mile to take care of their guests and team. The location is great and the product selection is everything you'd need from Bumble and Bumble. read more

Another five star experience with ME. Dawned on me this visit how much Kendall (owner) does to support his community, which is greatly appreciated. Just all around atmosphere where employees are happy to be there and the experience is right because of it. read more

I've been a customer for over 4 years. The staff is highly trained and very skilled at men's cuts. The service is outstanding. They first start by making sure my last cut was great, they wash my hair and give a great head massage. Then cut, rise, style and I'm out the door. Great hair product selection as well. I highly recommend them! read more

I love MAS. I started going to them about 8 years ago after getting a Groupon at the time because they were close to my house and I hated paying someone to cut my hair because they always messed it up. I haven't had to purchase a Groupon for a hair cut or go to another salon since. They always do a great job, I love the atmosphere and everyone is always so friendly. They obviously care about their clients, as well as their staff. Most salons "sell" their spots and are always changing staff, but I see the same faces every time I go in and I love that they make their new staff go through a training process to learn the same basic procedures that are used by everyone. I also love the fun make up, accessories and hair products you are able to buy in the salon. Oh, and don't forget you can enjoy a nice glass of wine with your haircut - or a tea/coffee if you prefer. I am so confident in their abilities and enjoy their personalities so much, I actually just booked them to do both my hair and makeup for my upcoming wedding. #nopressure read more

Josey is the best I've ever used for a hair cut. Seriously I've searched everywhere for another artist--I don't live in Scottsdale or even Arizona, but I have to come back for her hair cut. Because I seriously can't find anybody as good as her in SoCal or Vegas. She is 5 Stars all the way. read more

I have been going to Christina Toth for a large portion of her training and I absolutely love her! And now she is done with training and I will continue to use her! The training for stylists here is for intense and indepth, the owners do a great job of supervising cuts and helping out when they need to.They also do a great job of knowing what cuts/colors are best for each individual, as well as what products are best for them. Overall they are a great business and Christina is amazing! read more

I think I over paid for what I got , my hair Is brassy on the top and it may be because they had to wash out the purple that it turned. But it was 249 too much especially after driving an hour there and being there 5 hours only having my roots highlighted. The girl that helped me was very pleasant just wasn't what I was expecting won't return. read more

I know some people are not used to pay more money for a hair cut and have all the care needed to keep the hair health and beautiful. Mane Attraction Salon has been in business for as long as I can remember and great location. Mane Attraction Salon is one of the most well known hair salon in Phoenix area and for all this time all my friends are regular customers and recommended it to me. All I can say it; they never desapointed me. I travel a lot and do not have the opportunity to go there as much I would like to but, my friends always keep me informed about what they are up to. I think we all should support our local business and given them the good vibes to keep our economy growing again. I also understand it is not a perfect world out there but Mane Attraction Salon are very hard working professionals trying to do their best for their clientale! read more

Mane Attraction Salon - Haircut and color today. By the best! - Hair Salons Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

I have long been a salon skeptic and a never happy with where I get my hair done. That was until I came here. I came in on a chance and met Tracy. She is seriously awesome. She has cut my hair about 5 times since then and I am always happy. She is creative and really gets what is going on with my hair and always suggests styles that really look good on me. The salon is beautiful and most of the people I have met there have been sweet, aside from a few rude ladies who work there. they also carry the Bumble and Bumble line and this is seriously awesome. I love all the products and my hair has never looked better! read more

Worst haircut of my life. . .I will never return. There was no rhyme or reason to the way the girl cut my hair. . . she just grabbed hand fulls of hair and cut. I had different lengths all over my head and I hated it! Also, it was so full of product my hair was stiff. Bad, bad, bad! read more

Tracy is absolutely AMAZING! I started my hair journey with her about six months ago. I came into the salon with distressed hair - which is quite the understatement - just looking for a trim. After a few months passed and some trust was gained with my stylist, my occasional trim turned into a full-on color correction, and a tough one at that I might add. Years of over processing and then slapping dark colors over top had taken it's toll on my curly hair. I am very lucky to have stumbled across Tracy. She took the time, energy and love to nourish my hair back to life. And most importantly, she listened to what I wanted and my concerns. She has truly transformed the integrity of my hair, all while turning it into the cool-toned color I wanted. I have gone to several salons over the years, all ranging in pricing and specialties, but I always found myself unsatisfied. It is SO hard to find someone who knows how to cut, dye and properly style curly hair. Tracy has gone above and beyond for me and in addition to being brilliant behind the chair, she is such a pleasant character and a true gem to be around. I feel as though this small review doesn't even serve her justice. All I can say is that I highly recommend Tracy for any of your hair needs; she'll take good care of you! Also, the salon itself is styled very aesthetically and is such a fun hip place to be! They offer superb brands of hair products and have just the cutest little boutique in the front filled with small brands that are hard to find in stores: Jane Iredale, Smith & Cult nail polish and so much more! I highly recommend this salon, especially for my fellow curly haired gals and gents! read more

Was an Aveda Salon gal for a llloonnggg time. I needed something (bumblebumble) and someone new for my hair and started having Khala cut and color my hair - she is the best. Listens to you, with patience and professionalism. She gets to know you and your hair, takes her time every time. All my cuts and colors since going to Khala have been super! Mane Attraction is a great salon and gives you very nice experience. read more

Linda B. I have been to Mane Attraction everytime I go to Arizona, which is often. I can truly tell you I have never found a better salon. The professionalism of the stylists is well worth the trip. My stylist is Chris Knudsen and I'd recommend Chris to anyone. He is AMAZING! He has cut and colored my hair to perfection! I look better now than I ever have. Even younger! He also gave me a Brazilian Blowout which I just loved. Chris takes the time to get to know you and makes you feel very comfortable. Mane Attraction has the best of the best to offer. You are in good hands with them and Chris Knudsen! read more

Just had my first hair color appointment with Ronda. She was awesome and made me feel very welcomed since I recently moved to the area. Top notch service from everyone there from checking in and the mini first time tour all the way to shampoo lady and checkout. Highly recommend this to my friends as you will not be disappointed. read more

5 Star experience! This is THE place to go for amazing cuts, color, treatments and styles. The staff is wonderful. They make you feel like a friend, not just a 1 o'clock appointment. The main reason to go is for the stylists. They are all amazing! You get the full salon experience. Ice water with lemons are offered to you when you arrive. The stylists take their time to talk to you about your hair. The shampoo room is like a shampoo room sanctuary. It has dim lights and peaceful music. I am 100% happy with Mane Attraction and I highly recommend that you call and make an appointment today! read more

I'm 26 and never had my hair colored ... until today! I've always been so nervous since it's so thick and curly, people wouldn't be able to manage it. Today I saw Josie and she turned my curly mop into a beautiful mane with amazing balayage! She was so sweet and attentive to my hair. She did exactly what I asked for and made it look better than it's ever looked. Highly suggest Mane Attraction and highly suggest Josie. Thank you for curing my fear of getting my hair colored ! read more

I love this salon! I have always been a cheap haircut girl, only going to student salons. Mane Attraction Salon has made me a regular. Wow, the service is amazing. The staff is so well trained. Courtney has gone to classes in NYC on how to cut curly hair! She is the best! I got my hair and makeup done here for my wedding recently. Courtney and I had so much fun during this. Kelly did an amazing job on makeup -- she does the makeup for a pro sports team's cheerleaders so you know she is bomb diggity! Sorry, I'm not a sports person so I don't remember which team!? I should also add that I am a low key - not a high maintenance person. I feel that this salon has what everyone wants. It can be more chill if that is what you are looking for or it can be a little bit fancy pants, giving you wine with your services if that is what you want. Best of all, this salon is local and it even is a member of Local First AZ, an organization supporting local businesses! read more

Sye is fantastic! I let her do whatever she wanted and my hair has never looked this good or been so easy!

My partner and I have always had a positive experience with both cut and colors. I have had my hair colored in the past and the color I have received here with Beate has lasted twice as long as any other color. From the moment I sit in her chair she is focused on my color and it shows by the outcome. She is very effeciant and knowlegable! great job! As for my haircut with Kendall, hands down best haircut I have ever received. Not just now or in 2 weeks...almost 2 months later and my hair still falls into place! The owners and staff both work very hard to create a positive educational experience. It's refreshing to see the effort put toward educating their staff to be the best they can be. Great Job!! read more

Love this place. Reese has been doing my hair and my teenage daughter's hair for a year now. She is awesome. She does an amazing job with color and has an eye for just the right cut. Most of all she helps us keep our hair healthy which is so important to growing strong long hair. Highly recommend this place and Reese! read more

Jen was amazing. She listened and knew exactly what I wanted in color and cut. She took the time to get to know me. I was super relaxed, when Jen was using the straight razor for my bangs and around my face, honestly I could have fallen asleep. Great shampoo, massage shoulders and scalp. I can't wait for my next appointment. It's always a little scary going somewhere new. But I felt so at ease. Thank you Jen and the whole staff for making me feel so at home! See ya'll in June!!!! read more

Super nice staff! Deanna is awesome with curly hair, it's super hard to find someone who can tame my crazy hair, but she succeeded where many others have failed. Reese totally fixed my youngest daughter's perpetual bed-head and Courtney managed to tame my older daughter's thick hair without using a razor or thinning scissors. We will definitely be back again! read more

These guys are lifesavers and geniuses. Reese always knows exactly how to cut my hair exactly how I want it and also balance what she knows is flattering. They'll really take the time to make calculated and educated decisions before even raising their scissors. God bless 'em. read more

I have been between stylists for the last year because I can't find somewhere I love. I have found it here with Shannon! For my first visit, they gave me a tour and explained everything about the salon. I met 2 of the owners, which I thought was so kind and professional. It definitely made me feel welcomed and appreciated! Shannon took the time to talk to me before about my expectations and to get some background. I appreciate her feedback and thoughts about what I wanted to grow towards. My hair looks great and I appreciate her showing me differentt products and taking the time to show me exactly how to use the products correctly. I will definitely be coming back. Such a friendly and welcoming staff. Thank you!! read more

After 80 haircuts here, I have never had an unpleasant experience at Mane Attraction. Yes, they are on the higher cost side, however the hour plus (with lowlights) is always fun, the owners and staff greet their appreciated clients by name. They have a database (I assume) if your stylist leaves (which is a rarity) their employment, they place you with a professional stylist who they feel will get along with. With the people who complain about the cost, they will tell you their pricest upfront, just ask.If you cannot afford one they will accomodate you with one within your price range.....without looking down on you or snickering. Mane Attraction has it annual do good event (usually in March) to benefit our community with their doggyathon. They also sell/donate wonderful doggy shampoos and conditioners. They are all great people. Thank you. read more

I've been coming to Mane Attraction for 5 years now to see Alissa, she keeps my hair beautiful and helps me accomplish whatever new style or color I feel like trying out! The salon and the staff are amazing, I always feel like I'm at home- a very fancy, modern, tranquil home read more

I have been back in Phoenix for 3 years now and Ive become a salon whore..out there looking for "the one". Toni & Guy (crapshoot), Carsten (they make you stand up to get your haircut), Atmosphere (if you like the fresh from Japan, anime look), Vidal (LOVE Marc..but my preference is someone who does BOTH cut & color). So in my journey to find a "Marc" that also does color, I turned to Yelp and on Tuesday I gave The Root (see separate review) a shot due to reviews. The color wasnt what I asked and the cut, although good, I wasn't "in love" with it. While I was there I remembered looking through InStyle Magazine seeing a spread on "Top Salons" across the country and the only one mentioned in Phoenix was this one..Mane Attraction. Well the next day I discovered the girl that sits next to me goes there, so I checked out their website and felt extremely confident to give them a shot to add some umph to my new do, after viewing their before & afters... So Friday I booked an appointment with Ashley.. When I walked in I was immediately at ease. Not only was everyone super nice (not fake), I loved everyone's cut. They were all different, unique, fun & sexy, yet not juvenile. I ended up with Ashley who was very nice, and cute.. I pointed out a another stylist in the salon who had a really cute short cut and it was like she wasn't even phased by what it was that I liked. She didn't really ask or speak for that matter. My hair was done in almost complete silence??! I didn't look much different than when i walked in, except for the fact she managed to style me into large roller curls which I will call "texas hair". I wasn't all that excited. The other girls had great cuts and maybe i just got paired with the wrong girl i don't know but I wasn't wowed. She turned me on to Bumble and I took home some spray that made me feel like I had salt in my hair!! Ick..I brought it back and exchanged for Aveda. read more

Definitely pricey, compared to a barber shop, but worth it for me. Granted, for most of my life I have visited the local barber shop or the chains like supercuts or great clips, so my level of comparison is low. I really like the people here, genuinely nice they remember my name and almost everyone has a smile on their face. I've been going here for the last couple of years and don't anticipate leaving anytime soon. read more

Overall a very big disappointment. After telling the owner that I wear my hair in a smooth classic bob which needs to be low-maintenance, I was given a trendy cut which took twenty minutes to blow into a curly style using about four different hair products, all of which were aggressively sold throughout the entire visit. As soon as I got home I washed my hair to get all the greasy product out and discovered that I had the worst haircut I have ever had in my life. A large chunk of hair had just not been cut at all and was hanging down in a clump next to my face. Fortunately I was able to go to Great Clips and get things corrected, but I would certainly never go back to Mane Attraction again. To add insult to injury, the entire experience cost me close to $300. read more
