Another great experience at Saints & Scissors - moving forward I definitely will be making it my regular shop! This time around I had Laura, who I definitely recommend and will see again. I was looking to add a bit of dimension to my hair, but wanted to keep it subtle, sun-kissed and "natural" looking. I am not great with regular visits and upkeep, so typically lean towards a balayage. Laura nailed it! In addition, I am sort of in between wanting to grow out or cut it short, so opted for a fresh trim with long layers, adding some movement while I mull it over. Laura was great at guiding and suggesting without overstepping. Laura took my inspo, her thoughts and expertise based on my routine and goals and did just that! The overall visit with just about two hours and I left out happy and without breaking the bank. I know you get what you pay for but I find Saints & Scissors does a great job of finding the happy medium of value, quality and overall service. The shop itself is super fun, located in Old Town area with ample free street parking. It's got a moody and edgy vibe inside while still feeling high end. I have gotten drastic dye jobs and haircuts from her multiple times now and every time it's always better than my inspiration pics, and she always gives great advice if you are stuck on what to do next time you come in. I had a great experience. She recommended that I go get a specific high quality set of extension Hair. And I absolutely loved the quality.The texture it was so beautiful.I was beyond happy with it. She applied the extensions To perfection. I posted pictures here so you can see how gorgeous her styling is and how beautiful the hair is. She applies it with the tape in's. And you can move them up every Six to 8 weeks. Obsessed!!! She did such a fabulous job. I seriously couldn't be happier!! And the blonde that she does on my hair currently, like in the pictures is to perfection I absolutely love love the blonde she does!!! Everyone needs a hairstylist like jenna in their lives! I immediately reached out to make an appointment with Acacia and was set to see her that same evening. The salon is in a great location, clean, laid-back, and full of friendly people. I decided to take a chance but the vibe of the salon wasn't what I was looking for. The stylists all seemed to be on their own and wasn't a community/friendly vibe. It was also dark/rocker/basement feel and I was hoping for something brighter/spa/relaxing. The stylist I had was nice but was not used to cutting my type of hair. Ended up pretty unhappy and had to get it redone somewhere else- the ends of my hair were misaligned and all over the place. WOW!!!! Jennifer killed it, I walked in the salon with damaged, and crispy hair that was in need of a miracle. I have worn my hair in a bun the last, probably 6 months because I was so embarrassed of how bad my hair had gotten. She did a balayage on me and cut about 5 inches of fried hair off. OH, AND SHE WAXES EYE BROWS LIKE A BOSS. If anyone knows me, they know I hate brushing, washing, or styling my hair but I can not wait to go strut my new hair!!!
