We were going to a concert at Climate Pledge and needed a quick bite, so Mammoth was a great choice! Parking near the Seattle Center is an adventure, especially on event days. The space features indoor/outdoor seating, which is perfect for a casual night out. Not a huge space, so not ideal for large groups! The staff was wonderful while we were there! Plenty of sandwich choices to pair with the full bar available! We ordered the Sabertooth, which was a huge sandwich, loaded with meat and cheese! The perfect meal before our show!

Sandwiches were good but don't be fooled by the name, these sandwiches are not mammoth. Had the Moa which was good but nothing special. Also had the Cro Magnon which was a bit too vinegary with the combination of the Italian dressing and the giardiniera. Would probably be better with just an olive oil mix to top it off.

The bread on the sandwich is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, so good. However, the insides left something more to be desired because there was a little too much oil and mayo. Staff are friendly, and there are plenty of seats for a quick serve place, but not a lot of soft seating.

I walked in around opening and there was already a line, which was a good sign in my book! The line moved fast, and I ordered the Stonehenge (though honestly every sandwich sounded delicious). I love sandwiches, and this sandwich was probably one of the best I've ever had. The sliced turkey was juicy, and the cream cheese was not nearly as overpowering as I thought it would be. I would have preferred a bit more basil (I love it), but it was still really unique and well balanced! I highly recommend checking this place out, and will definitely be back!

Before the opera, my sisters and I checked out a great little place for dinner down the block. Seating is inside and out. With the colder, slightly raining weather, most people were inside so seating availability was at a premium. The menu has good options and fun unique sandwich names. I had the Nessie (tuna). Very tasty. Hot Apple Cider is a must! You will thank me!

Took my friend here before a show and we both liked our sandwiches. The menu is so flexible for vegetarians and for modifications, so I love it. The service is always great and she brought our food to us since it wasn't too busy. The vibe is usually pretty chill, even when it is crowded, because the bar/sandwich shop combo works well. This is one of my go to spots before a show at the ballet or rep or anything in that vicinity.

We visited Mammoth around 11:40 AM on a Saturday. There were only 2-3 other people there, and there were plenty of seats available. We ordered the Smokey in the Pig (pulled pork with coleslaw and BBQ) and the Predator (chicken sandwich). The pulled pork was decent; it was a bit sweeter than I prefer, but overall it made for a good, hearty sandwich. However, I was disappointed with the Predator. While the sauce and bread were good, the meat itself was chewy and had an odd texture. The service was quick and decent

During a lazy weekend early afternoon spent at Seattle Center we decided to look for a place for a quick bite. Mammoth, a counter service establishment that seemed to serve delicious sandwiches, came out on top. It wasn't too busy since it was past prime lunch hours. When we ordered at the counter, the cashier told us 12 minutes for the sandwich. It took less than ten. Taurus ($19) - Oomph that pricing. Just last month this sandwich was $16! The sandwich comes out piping hot with steam leaking out in every direction. Since it's is wrapped up in paper, the steam penetrates the bun, softening it a bit. Each bun half is toasted on both sides, delivering maximal crunch - but again, is softened by the steam and copious amounts of oil and liquid that drip out from the meat. The bun is still very good - it feels like a softened but fresh focaccia. Inside the bread is plenty of brisket, mostly centered to avoid spillage. It's studded with peppers and onion, giving a tiny bit of spice and a nice tangy flavor. It tastes kind of like carne seca but with plenty of oil and moisture throughout. There's a lot of fatty and stretchy cheese below, then a layer of arugula and spinach for a bitter and astringent kick. Finally, I believe they add a bit of horseradish aoili that complements everything else very well. It's not a super large sandwich, but is filling enough. (5/5) I do have to say that the sandwiches are on the pricey side due to the recent menu adjustments. Mammoth is definitely not an everyday sandwich kind of place for me, but it's a restaurant that I'd certainly return to. I just have to get used to $20 sandwiches! Bathrooms - Large ones with multiple stalls, requires code to enter

So fast, and so delicious. I was not really interested in trying this because we had somewhere to be but my boyfriend convinced me to stop and well... this may be the best sandwich I've ever had. I got the Stonehenge and... 10/10. Because of the warm toasted bread, the cream cheese and cranberry jam melted together to make the yummiest sauce. The sandwich was not huge but it was well stuffed so by the end I was completely full! Would eat this sandwich every day if I could

Great place to get sandwiches in the Queen Anne area. Pretty good size for a sandwich and a very flavorful. I did like their brisket more than their chicken. Cool and meat spot to casually grab a quick sandwich. French onion dip was pretty good as well. Overall, I recommend I would come back.

The food here is definitely good -- fresh ingredients and solid flavor overall. However, the price point feels a bit steep for what you get. Spending around $50 for lunch for two people, you'd expect huge, "mammoth"-sized sandwiches given the name. Instead, the portions are more average than impressive. It's not a bad experience by any means, but considering the cost, it's hard to say if it really delivers the value you'd expect. Worth trying once, but maybe not a regular stop unless the pricing matches the portion or quality a bit more closely.

Brisket sandwich shared with my wife and side of pork

Great food and service. Setup is counter service and then grab a seat to wait. They do have a very small bar with a few seats or so and a TV, and a decent selection of beers and mix drinks. The most impressive aspect of our experience was how they handled all of my wife and I's special requests. She didn't want a full-size sammy (didn't want that much bread, but also wanted some meat and lettuce. Also, one of us likes cheese on our sammies and the other doesn't. So, we were able to order the following: 1) Taurus (Braised brisket with cherry peppers & onions, pepper jack, arugula, aioli) with the following mods: - Cheese on only half of the sandwich - no aioli (we got it on the side) 2) Side of Pulled pork (nice size for a reasonable price) 3) Side of lettuce Most surprisingly, the staff handled it like a pro and there were no issues with the order. Really impressive and appreciated! Beer was a decent size and my my wife also got a fun CBD drink. The space inside is a little small - seating can be a bit limited and most of it is the tall stools (not fun). But we made due and it didn't really detract from the experience. Would definitely recommend this place!

We happened upon Mammoth after attending an event in Seattle Center and I think this will officially be my new place to go before or after events there or at the Climate Pledge. The sandwiches were so good, service was great and there was a nice selection of beer. Most sandwiches can be made vegetarian with tofu or jackfruit, which is a huge plus for me! It's also reasonably priced. They have card games, board games and activities for kids. Will definitely be back, hopefully next time in the summer so we can enjoy the patio.

We dropped in for brunch, and were thrilled to find a place that is both pretty and delicious. Service is walk up and quick and friendly. 5 Stars - Bonus point galore…read more.. Stopped by this spot on perfect Seattle Sunday - almost 70 degrees out without a cloud in the sky, and this place is right across the street from the waterfront. This is the exact type of spot I wish Seattle had more of - simple concept with food/drinks that really stand out. You order at the front, grab a seat on the patio or inside, and wait for the food to be brought out. I also love how dog friendly this place is! Bonus points for sure. They usually have 10-15 beers on tap and a list of house made cocktails. I went with their light Lightning Harp and the girlfriend went with the SYSTEM_REBOOT.EXE (great name, wow) which was light/crispy/sweet/herby-freshness and was insanely good. For food, we usually just get their basket of fires and their fancy ranch. I MUST SAY, this fancy ranch is top tier, the epitome of what ranch should be, and might be the best I have ever had - no notes and more bonus points. This time, we decided to try a few other food items. Chips w queso and their fried mushrooms as starters - chips are seasoned with s&p and maybe chili powder? Honestly, the chips were great. Queso has never been my favorite, and their version of this cheese dip seemed to be lacking something. Girlfriend loved it, but not my favorite. Fried mushrooms were perfect - light and crispy outside with meaty mushroom center, and of course the fancy ranch as a dipper made this a delightful snack. The last thing we ordered to share was their iteration of the Seattle Hotdog. I will be getting this hotdog every single time we come back moving forward. Every single part of this dish was done perfectly - bun was very light with crispy outside and soft inside. Also not too much bun, I always find myself ripping off excess bun with hotdogs, but not here (today lol). The wiener was perfect size (pause) in every sense of the way. Just the right amount of cream cheese. AND THEY USED FRIED JALAPENOS! I did not think fried jalapenos would be such a game changer, but my god they were so frickin good that give the perfect crispy texture and heat. This is a great spot to grab a beer and snack, and especially good on a blue bird Seattle Sunday :)

We came here to eat because it was near our hotel. I was OBSESSED with the crab nachos. 2 months later, I moved out here all on my own. Now, 8 years later, I live nearby. Whenever someone is visiting, we come here. Whenever I run into a stranger visiting, i say they have to come here. My friends know if i'm celebrating anything, "are you getting crab nachos?!" It's become a part of my personality at this point. I have so much respect for the owners, the way they run their business and their honesty online. No one I've brought here has had a bad thing to say regardless of what they ordered. My go to is: Pull apart bread, crab nachos (with their hot sauce!! which, btw can i buy that by the bottle.. cause YUM) + whatever drink is calling my name (they rotate, but if you can get the pina colada you won't regret it). tldr; you'll regret NOT coming here.

I underestimated the attractiveness of Happy Hour where many drinks are $1 to $3 off. The place was full and became even fuller (and louder) by the end of our meal. This bar is hopping with many regulars, alcohol-filled, with multiple screens televising sports. When we went in October, the food menu says the food is discounted 25% off during certain late hours. The current online menu doesn't say that anymore. Not sure if that deal is still available. Our server was easygoing. Note they charge 3% for credit card use. The Food: SRB Burger, $22 - 3 Stars Menu: Painted Hills beef, burrata mozzarella, basil aioli, arugula, pickled onions, hand cut fries Per the menu description, this burger sounded great. Unfortunately for hubby, this burger has the exact pet peeve that he dislikes the most - where the patty is small and tall (he calls it ball shape) compared to the bun. The patty diameter is significantly smaller than the bun. He literally hates that. I had to tilt the camera much lower to see the patty inside. On the plus side, the fries are great. Grilled Shrimp Club, $24 - 3.5 Stars Menu: bacon, lettuce, tomato, house made guacamole, roasted chipotle aioli, hand cut fries This club sandwich is very good except for the one thing that the menu didn't specify - the bun. They use ciabatta bread, which I find doughy, thick, and overwhelms a sandwich. That is my pet peeve for a sandwich. Neither of us is betting well on this night. They are probably more of a 3.5 Stars overall. We find their prices to be high, especially since they additionally charge a credit card fee. When we went, the cost was $21, $23 respectively. The prices are now $22 and $24 per online menu. I would not return for food only. I would return for a bar vibe.

We also enjoyed the garlic everything fries, which were delicious! We just had to try a flight to sample the brews. There are some really good beers available here, especially the Belgian blonde, citra pale ale, and the stout. I did not really care for the seasonal sour (grapefruit, I think)--to me, it just tasted like a sour and nothing more, but someone with more interest in sour beers would probably enjoy it just fine. Despite the busy night, our server checked on us regularly and was very personable, stopping to chat with us about the local sports scene. There's plenty to look at, inside and out. If you can snag a seat outside, you'll get to enjoy the waterfront. Inside, the decor is industrial but fun. They need to work on their timing. Need at least 10 minutes in between the beer and apps. The food overall is admittedly top notch. Fish and chips FRESH! The fish was juicy and the fried crust was perfection. Pieces were large. They will ask if you want 3 or 4. 3 is enough.
