They currently have a bakery location in Ellington and an additional drive thru location down the road in Ellington, a location in Stafford, and will be opening in Hartford in 2026. It's a good bakery, stuff is always fresh and the flavors in each of their cupcakes, muffins, breads, and other misc bakery items is present and forward. They know that they are good, and charge accordingly. Given that there's no direct competition in a 10 mile radius (and I would argue even past that 10 mile radius the pickings are slim) the price is justifiable for the quality you get. As someone who treks a lot around the state, I find that there are many bakeries that do similar if not better items for comparable if not lower prices. But to ask someone to drive 30-60 minutes just to get something a couple bucks cheaper that's tastes about the same? It's a hard sale. I will say that Luanne's is the best in that area of the state, not including the small boutique places that are well off the beaten path. I still come here for the view and ambiance, but I don't order much of their food.

Recently I went there to eat in and ordered a chicken quesadilla. I also got a side salad which was ok. The quesadilla was served cut into fours. It wasn't terrible but only four of the slices had chicken in them. The fourth slice was just quesadilla. Also, to my total disappointment, they used chicken cold cuts instead of shredded chicken to fill the quesadilla with. Talk about cheaping out. I'll honestly say I probably won't visit or call Danny's again. I will end this review by saying that this has nothing to do with the staff. They get 5 stars.
