All of the portions were large to boot. We split an order of two dumplings. One pork with scallion and the other chicken with mushrooms. Both were good, nice and brothy inside. The accompanying dipping sauce was mildly spicy. I honestly think you could forego the sauce but the dumplings paired with it fairly well. Pickup was easy, even for a visiting tourist. Happy to have ordered from here!

If you love Chinese dim sum and dumplings you are at the right place. As its name says, this is a small spot but the plates are gigantic so it's best to go with other folks. So the place is tiny, crowded with takeout boxes, with the takeout customers awkwardly milling about, the tables are as basic as they get, there's almost no seating, and we were kind of boxed in. WHO CARES? THE DUMPLINGS ARE GREAT! We had spectacular service in three languages, and the chef came out to check on us amidst all the chaos of a Friday night rush and we had a brief and lovely conversation about dipping sauces. It is a little odd the sauces are extra, and the only minor nit I can pick is that they were a teensy bit bland compared to what I'm accustomed to. But delicious nevertheless and worth shelling out the extra money for if you've a mind. But the dumplings are so delicious they honestly don't need sauce. Delectable and done just right. I'm sure their business model supports a lot of takeout, but the quality here is of a haute cuisine restaurant. A new location, menus without pictures, a little dim light, you could have a Michelin three-star experience. But in the meantime, I'm delighted to have found this place and look forward to coming back again.

We had the spring rolls, they were fresh and delicious, exactly what you'd hope for. We tried their fried wontons with peanut sauce, and those were really good. For dumplings, we ordered the lamb and coriander, which were nice, but maybe not enough coriander flavour, the beef and onion, and they hit the spot, and the chicken and curry, which were my favourite of what we had. To finish, we had their sesame balls, and those did not disappoint! I would come back just for them, so good! You could tell that everything was made fresh, with quality ingredients. We started off with the cucumber salad ($4.99) and shared the Pork and Shrimp Soup Dumplings ($11.99 for 10) and the fried Shrimp Dumplings ($14.99 plus an additional $1.50 to get them fried, the default is boiled. There were 12 per order). It was our first time trying this type of cucumber salad. It was good. It's marinaded in a chili oil and vinegar mix. Beware that it has cilantro. We did not know and my cilantro-hating husband had to pick off all the cilantro, lol. The soup dumplings were fantastic. My husband usually only likes fried dumplings, and doesn't like steamed or boiled dumplings, but he enjoyed these. There was ample shrimp mixed in with the pork and each dumpling had soup in it, none were dry. The dumpling skin was thin with just the right amount of chew. The fried dumplings were also good. They had a nice crunchy exterior and soft interior. Lots of tender shrimp in the filling. Service was pleasant. It's a bit of an older restaurant, but the interior was still nice.
