Such a perfect hole in the wall in a neighborhood full of tourist traps. Highly recommend everything I got, dumplings were delicious, soup was so flavorful, and the staff was kind and attentive. If I lived here, id stop for soup every day.

What we had: Sweet Pork Soup Dumplings $11.99 Pork, shrimp and scallop Soup Dumplings $14.49 Glutinous rice balls with wine $3.99 Taste: 4/5 The soup dumplings were pretty nice! The wrapper of the dumplings wasn't too thick, and the fillings were generous. The sweet pork soup dumplings were innovative and tasted like sweet and sour ribs. I think anyone with a sweet tooth (like me) will like it haha. The glutinous rice balls were alright. Vibe: 4.5/5 The design of the resto caught our eye on the street. With funky paintings, neon light signs and a mix of Chinese antiques, this place was giving modern art gallery. Definitely an IG-worthy spot! I also loved the see-through kitchen facing the street because watching the chef make dumplings was pretty satisfying. Service: 4/5 The servers were pretty friendly. We had a nice little chat.

A cozy location that gives off a very authentic vibe. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The xiao long bao is fabulous but reasonably priced. We had the sweet pork and pork&cabbage. Two plates are plenty for two people. We also enjoyed the sesame oiled lettuce salad, which provided a tasty and refreshing palate preparation for the xian long baos. We really enjoyed this restaurant. Highly recommend. Eat here!

Dumplings were incredible, but the tofu (freshly made) was spectacular. Service was crazy though - disorganized and uncoordinated.

There is not a ton of seating in the restaurant. It is small and the tables are quite close together. We were a little disappointed that they ran out of salmon so we couldn't order any salmon sashimi dishes. We got skewers which were absolutely delicious! We also ordered takoyaki and okonomiyaki but there was nothing special about those. Wouldn't really recommend the okonomiyaki either. Would definitely recommend trying the Shrimp Burger and the Salmon Calcium (salmon pate).

Once seated, things happen very quickly...it is go, go, go (in the best possible way.) We ordered appetizers first, the tempura green beans with a delicious truffle mayo, gyoza and the tofu salad (they make it fresh every Sunday). Green beans were everyone's fave, but I have to mention the (pickled?) vegetables on the salad. So flavourful! Also tried the egg drop soup which is so tasty. Mains were the salmon tuna bowl, the beef short ribs, the shrimp burger, and 48 hour pork with curry sauce. Everything was wonderful! Finished with their soft serve ice cream, I had the cherry blossom but one of us had the sake, which is a shot of sake poured on top. Amazing! You can even have wasabi or ginger... I'll try that next time (and there will be a next time soon!)

+.5 for service My…read moredad found this restaurant on Instagram and linked me videos of the ambiance and some of the food here. It looked cool, so I told my parents we'll go on our way back home to Toronto from Quebec City. We had to wait about 30 minutes for a table, and I'll admit the waiting area isn't the best. When we finally got our table, it was tucked in the corner of the restaurant by the windows. Thankfully it was insulated well despite a cold night. The food concept is pretty unique here, as Southeast Asian cuisine isn't too common overall. We decided to share a bunch of dishes to increase the variety of foods. Pork Belly Steamed Buns - Excellent Laksa Soup with Chicken - Excellent, and I like how they separated the satay on a spoon. Satay Babi - This was an item from their special menu, which is basically satay pork skewers. It was also very good. Fried chicken - Nothing special, could probably skip this. Char kway teow - Very uniquely done. I wasn't expecting clams on it, and it was an excellent addition. Service was also amazing. There are some other dishes that I wasn't able to try, and I would say the uniqueness of this place will entice me to return here.

The place feels more like a bar than a restaurant, with dark lighting, red lanterns, and neon signs giving it a cool vibe. We spoke with (maybe) the owner's son and got seated at the bar after about 10-15 minutes. The bartender was friendly, even though he was nonstop making cocktails and juggling a packed bar. We ordered two of my favorites: laksa and char kway teow. Having lived in Singapore for a couple of years, I was excited to try them. The food came out quickly--less than 10 minutes. The laksa was flavorful with a nice hot broth, but the portion was really small for the price. Wish there was more noodles! The char kway teow was even more surprising: very small portion, and it came with two clams, which I've never seen in all my time in Malaysia or Singapore. At $20, it just didn't feel worth it. Overall, the vibe is fun and the atmosphere is great, but the portion sizes are way too small for what you pay. I'd say they need to be at least 30% bigger to match the price point. For that reason, I wouldn't go back, but I can see why people come here more for the drinks and ambiance. My husband had to get a kebab afterwards as he was still hungry. Apparently this area is quite popular with loads of bars and restaurants.

Management in the restaurant was arrogant and offensive. On top of everything the $23.00 pho was the worst pho I have ever tasted. The worst part: I emailed the buisiness to offer them my grievance. They requested I detail my poor experiences by email, which I did and they then completely ignored me (i received no responce). Poor Management. Terrible food that is overpriced. The drinks are fancy and nice, but there are better spots close by.

Everything was fresh and new. I got the crunchy tofu and the porc spring rolls, i burned my tongue because I was trying to eat everything as it arrived at my table. The tofu came with this really fluffy and tasty coating of crunchy-ness and sauce. The spring rolls were indescribably delicious. I highly recommend ordering them. My family ordered different meals so I got to taste the pad thai and the coconut salmon as well and those meals made me wish I had more stomach space. Unfortunately, the terrace was full when we arrived so we had to sit inside. However, the interior is so modern and chic that I didn't mind at all. My family and I had a great time! It's a really great restaurant for a nice flavourful and laid back dinner.
